Bought photoshop cs6 extended on pc, trying to transfer to mac.

I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended on a PC in January of 2013. I recently bought a MAC and want to transfer the program to my new computer. I have deactivated the program on my pc and now when trying to install the program on the MAC, the installation software says that my serial number is not vaild. what other options do I have since product support does not take phone calls on this issue

How to save file in photoshop cs6 extended

hi, i started using photoshop cs6 extended yesterday. i have no problem on tools but i have problem on saving my files in photoshop cs6 extended. i've tried to save my files like being shown in tutorials but when i click on the 'save' or 'save as' button, nothing appear on my screen. i've searching the tutorials on youtube but i didn't find the solution to my problem.please, do help me.

Photoshop cs6 extended trial download problem

i want to download photoshop cs6 extended trial version, but Download Assistant is only showing downloading option for photoshop cs6 standard.

Installation files of Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CS& Extended are always the same. So just download the Photoshop CS6 through the Download Assistant.
If you buy Photoshop CS6 it will hide all Extended functions, unless you bought Photoshop CS6 Extended ;-)

Transferring Photoshop CS6 Extended for Windows Student Edition software from a Windows PC to a Mac

I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended for Windows Student Edition for my PC online last year from Curry's PC World. I was told at the time of purchase that I would be able to transfer this software from my PC onto a Macbook. I have now purchased the Macbook and would like to transfer the software from my old Windows PC onto my new Macbook. Please could I have some assistance in doing so. Thank you!

You didn't mention who told you you could transfer the software, but I suspect it was not anyone from Adobe. Versions are platform specific so there is little chance of installing the Windows version on a Mac without the use of a Windows emulator of some kind. Since it is CS6, you do have the option to apply for a platform swap. See the following...

Finding serial numbers for photoshop cs6 extended

Bought Photoshop cs6 extended through an employee purchasing program at work, it arrived today but did not include a serial number required to install it.
No number sequence shows on the box, sleeve or packing list that is large enough to be the serial number. Please tell me I didn't get screwed.

Hello,
does anybody know where I can download Photoshop CS6 Extended?
I just got my new mac without DVD drive and I cannot find any downloadable file.
The one I found says that my code is vaild, but I don't have the correct program. I think that´s because I downloaded CS6 (only).

There is only one download per platform. It's your serial number that makes ity extended, when you install it.

I am trying to download the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Student and Teacher Trial and it had me download te assistant. After downloading the assistant, I installed it and I signed in. It wants me to pick a product to download and the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Student and Teacher is not listed. The closest thing to download is Adobe PS CS6. Please help me

there is no specific trial for S&T. It's just the normal program. S&T is a licensing/ pricing thing, not some technical difference.

I think I bought a fake or counterfeit version of Photoshop CS6 extended. How do I find out for sure.

i am using windows 7 on an HP Pavilion dv6-6108. I purchased Photoshop CS6 extended. The guy said it is a full Retail version and "self installs" the serial number and activates. It doesn't fully install into my control panel programs, instead it puts 2 icons on the desk top for Photoshop, but they have a "install shield" on them. I can't update (the update and register features are grayed out.under the help menu. The program opens, but everytime it does, it brings up the window asking if you want to let this program make changes on the computer. Supposedly the serial number that auto-loads is inscribed on the inner ring of the disk, but you can't really tell what they are. So I have no way to know what it is. Lots of other odd ball stuff that makes me doubt the genuineness of the product. What can I do to establish real or fake? And to get it registered like my other Adobe products.

How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended

Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.

When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

Did you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

No Photoshop CS6 Extended in Creative Suite CS6 Web&Design?

I just bought the Adobe Creative Suite CS6 Web&Design.
But there wasn't Photoshop CS6 Extended in it. :/
I noticed that when I was using Photoshop and looked for the 3D tools.
Can you help me please?

Soda can design in Photoshop CS6 Extended problem

Hello,
I just did my design for a fake soda can in Photoshop CS6 Extended, which I was hoping to use as a 3D image later in my artwork. I measured a real soda can carefully, so I'm sure the size and the orientation of the image is right. But when I try to go to 3D panel/Meshes/Soda to transfer my design to the soda can preset, it comes out less than half the size & oriented 90 degrees off. I tried to find ways to adjust it but it did not work at all. When I tried to apply the same design to a plain cylinder it came out OK. I tried to look online for the info how I could adjust the size and proportion of the image I would like to use in my 3D projects- but there no good information available.
So- how can I accurately adjust the size and the direction of the image/layer taken from a 2D Photoshop layer to 3D in PsCS6 Extended? Please help!

Seems to me, if you follow what Steve said in that other thread, you're expected to rotate your design canvas 90 degrees CW before creating the mesh from the soda can preset.

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on MAC and Bridge does not open. It did open when I first downloaded it - but now a black question mark is over the BR icon and it does not open up. Any ideas from anyone?

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?
Do I need to DEACTIVATE ANYTHING ANYWHERE?
DOES ANYTHING NEED TO GO INTO TRASH.
I just want to make sure 'everything' related to CS6 Extended is off my computer and out of all the files. In the event i want to re-install - naturally I don't want to run into any conflicting 'issues'.
Do you think if I reinstall I will run into this same problem again (BR not launching)? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?
Thank you so much for trying to help me resolve this issue. It is very frustrating to have an Adobe product that is not completely functional. Especially when the Creative Suites are so expensive. I appreciate all the time you've put into this issue.
