Bought ringtone doesn't work

iBought a ringtone and iHave it set as my text tone..it worked for a couple days and now it doesn't work anymore even though it is still set as my text tone..can anyone help please

I'm having the same exact issue.
I purchased my first ringtone on itunes. Set iTunes to sync all ringtones and pressed sync. The ringtone shows up under custom ringtones in settings but when I select it I don't get a preview and when I receive calls all the phone does is vibrate, no ringtone.
I figured $.99 was already a waste of money for a subset of something I already paid $.99 for but the fact that it doesn't even play at all makes it more of a waste of money, if that's even possible.
Specs:
iPhone 3G 16GB Firmware 2.2
iTunes 8.0.2(20)
MacOSX 10.5.5

Ringtone doesn't work for sms

I bought on AppStore a ringtone for my sms.
In the setting, I select the ringtone. I do a test with a friend that send me a sms, and the ringtone does'nt work. I choose another ringtone, an Apple one by default on the iPhone, a ringtone that I maid with a song, and it work. I select again the ringtone that I bought, and it doesn't work.
Does anybody knows why the ringtone don't work for the sms?

Have you Reset your iPhone? Hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons. Also be sure the mute button is not on and the volume is not turned down.

Ringtone doesn't work anymore

I bought and synched a ringtone a few months ago and it worked fine with my iphone and appeared along with the ringtones the phone came with. But, yesterday when I was about to sync my iphone with itunes I was offered the chance to upgrade to 4.2.1. I did so but somehow I then had to restore my phone. That all worked out fine after a while but the ringtone now only shows up in ipod under songs and not under ringtones. This, even though it shows up as a ringtone in itunes and supposedly synced to the iphone. How can I get it back to ringtones? Thank you to anyone who can help.

The best is to contact Skype Customer Service directly.
If you send them an email, please incldue voucher number and all possible details that would help them to investigate this problem (for example, if you have tried to redeem in from different browser or device etc ).

Bought app. Doesn't work in OS X. Want money back.

I was just looking for some way to get Israeli radio stations in iTunes on my MacBook or PPC, so I bought an app in the iTunes store after Googling "Israel radio iTunes OS X" Well, now I have an app in iTunes that refuses to play. I assume that's because it's only meant for an iOS product. But now I want my money back -- and they don't make THAT as easy as they do buying it.
So, 2 questions: how can I get streaming radio from Israel in iTunes, either for free or with a program (Israel seems to be very Mac-unfriendly -- I can't get any of their radio stations to play live in any Mac-friendly media -- everything is Windows Media Player blah blah blah) and how do I get my money back for the app that I bought which doesn't work?

One day after having received my ipod , it doesn't work properly.

I've spend my entire day fixing an ipod i received yesterday
As I'm writing, I've received my video ipod of 30gb yesterday. Back then, I followed the instructions carefully , and I installed I-tunes and Ipod updater as instructed. I transfered some of my musics and pictures in the ipod and transfered a short video that I had converted first. My computer Toshiba satellite M45-S169 is well known for its performances, so obviously it incorporates USB 2.0 ports. Actually, all seemed fine.
I woke up this morning and went out with my ipod. Arrived at the library, I felt like using a machintosh..when I turned on the screen of the MAC, at the same time my ipod froze. I was speechless, the blacklight was on and I couldn't turn it off. I did what was instructed in the support site, which means that I reseted it. Afterwards, a sad ipod icon appeared on the screen. Once again I tried what was instructed but I couldn't put my ipod into disk mode. So, I plugged it in my computer trying to restore or update it as instructed but my computer didn't recognize it anymore. So, I re-installed all the softwares, and I updated them. Then, I restarted my computer but it didn't work. Finally, I did the last possible solution; it was said on the website that it might be my battery, so I let it charge during 1 to 2 hours but it wouldn't charge.
whenever I plug the ipod in the computer I see a black screen with an apple, then it shifts to a screen with a small battery with an exclamation point, which quickly shifts into a discharged battery with a lightning bolt, which last about 1min(it depends) before shifting to the screen with a sad Ipod icon with the blacklight on, and the apple screen once again. It does it over and over ...
Please help!!
Even though I'm pretty sure you will not have an answer considering that i have spend all my day on it.

I was really impatient to receive my ipod. I paid it, and I trusted apple. However, I was wrong. The first product apple that I bought just doesn't work whereas I was starting to be interested in others Apple products. I've lost my time on internet reading about the features of the ipod 5th generation 30go, which are badly detailed. I'm not complaining about the fact that the ipod is not perfect, which I understand. I'm complaining about the fact that apple don't aware his consumers of the high frequence of bugs. I don't find it quite professional. So, when a ipod froze, we think that it is uncommon before reading the articles throughout the support website and find out that it is considered as 'normal' to encounter those kind of issues.
morality: I will never buy an Apple product again.

Did you have it connected to the library mac when it froze? If so, why? I would be hesitant to hook my ipod to a unprotected public computer since it may be infested with viruses or have unknown hardware problems.
In any case, if you can get it to an Apple store they can probably help you with it, it sounds like it needs replacing.
A certain percentage of any complex product will turn out to be defective and will have to be returned, it sounds like you were unlucky enough to get one. Looking over the forums here it may seem like the ipod is plagued with bugs, but don't forget that there are millions who never have a problem and so have no reason to pipe up here. Personally I think Apple deserves a thumbs up for continuing to host these forums in spite of how they may cast a negative light on thier products to the casual observer.

I would suggest looking into a Thunderbolt to HDMI connector. In this case, you may be able to use the TV as an external monitor. For this option, please confirm through additional research. I have not tested it personally.
You can also use an Apple TV, which connects with HDMI. In this case, you can use Airplay Mirroring. Not all Macs support Airplay Mirroring, so you need to check first. I have a Mid-2011 27" iMac, and it supports Airplay Mirroring. I don't use it often because my TV is in another room, but I just tried it and it worked. It had to change the screen resolution to work well, so I don't know if I would want to use it as my day to day monitor. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5404

Do not worry about it.
Time Machine needs that your external drive is formatted in HFS+, or better known as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". This filesystem is used by Apple on Macs and Windows cannot read or write drives formatted with this filesystem, being this the reason why all your devices do not read the external drive except your Mac.
You can only use your external drive to make Time Machine drives. If you store anything different, you may damage the Time Machine structure, so it is better not to use it as a drive to store other data. Instead, get another external drive to do it or create a second partition on the external drive formatted in FAT32 by using Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU3.html FAT32 can be read by Windows PCs

So here's what I done so far:
tried resetting PRAM - No success
Done disk utility. Disk verified with no errors. I even re formatted disk. - no success starting.
Tried re installing mountain lion via download . It froze halfway installing -no success.
Tried backing up a time machine backup from my USB hard drive. It froze at 1% - no success
Tried booting from safe mode - no success
Tried the command line boot - no success.
Please someone help!

Sounds like the hard dre has left the building, Died, in the Sh*tter, Gone to the hard drive resting place in the sky.
Buy a new drive connect it to the system with a SATA to USB adapter and see if you can install Mt Lion on that drive connected externally. If you can then the drive inside your system has failed.
Oh Wait!!!! You have the 2009 model. They are known for bad drive to logic board cables. So it may not be the drive itself but the cable going from the drive to the logic board. Do the same as above then if the system runs OK with the new drive connected externally install it in the system and see if it boots. If it does you are good to go. If it doesn't then it is more then likely the cable that hs failed.
I would suggest you also SAVE a copy of that download of Mt Lion and create a USB install drive from it using Lion Disk Maker, once you get your system up and running.
