Bought subscription to creative cloud but account says otherwise...

I have recently bought a Creative Cloud Subscription but my account still shows that I am a trial member. What do I do!!??

I received a confirmation email saying my order has been processed and contained my order number. Should I be expecting further confirmation? I logged into my creative cloud account and there is a blue button prompting me to upgrade from a trial membership.

    It means some or few files are running in the back ground, you can close them from Task manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor(Mac).
    In case you have difficulty in identifying the processes being run for CC, the best way would be to close the computer completely which shall close all the processes, once you turn on the computer, download CC first.

    Click Quit (for the first message) or No (for the second message) to exit the installer.  
    Close other Adobe setups:  
      Windows
    Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.  
    Select the Processes tab, and select Show Processes From All Users.  
    Select any PDapp.exe or setup.exe process, and click End Process.  
    Repeat for all additional instances of PDapp.exe or setup.exe processes.  
      Mac OS  
    Press Command + Option + Esc.
    In the Force Quit Applications window, select PDapp or Adobe Setup and click Force Quit.
    Repeat for all additional instances of the applications.
    Retry the installer.

    I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this.  Are you the administrative contact on your Creative Cloud team subscription?  The admin user doesn't receive the same set of services as a full seat, so you will have a Typekit Trial plan instead of the Portfolio plan.
    You have the option of upgrading to the Portfolio level, though. If you would like to do that:
    1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
    2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio
    Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments. The Portfolio plan is $49.99/year.

    When an application asks for a serial it means that the application can't see your subscription .Please verify this points :
    1 - Clean hosts file from Adobe entries ( Already checked ).
    2 - You're connected with a wrong email address .(verify this on CC desktop preferences menu .
    3 - Your opm file is corrupted > close CC desktop and delete opm.db from ( Don't let it on the trash )  :
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    4 - You bought a subscription for english only and you install it in another language ( you must have a multi language subscription in this case ).
    5 - You have an internet connection behind a proxy that blocks the applications ( If you don't have a proxy ,verify on your browser ( safari or IE ) and uncheck all proxy options )

    Please check if the 2 license are for CC team or CC individual, if it is for Team then you need to assign seat by sending the invite from the admin console & the user has to accept the invite.

    You can also check the host files & find if Adobe has been blocked or not.
    Windows: Start >>Run>>Drivers>>etc>>hosts(open with notepad)
    Macintosh: Click on Go---Go to Folders---/etc---Hostsrunor host
    If you find any Adobe entry please remove it & make the host file free of Adobe entry. Please try to launch then.

    I have been trying for about an hour to simply cancel my subscription to Creative Cloud; but Adobe just keeps sending me in circles. It is really maddening. Why can't I just simply cancel my subscription?? I thought Adobe was a legitimate company, but the way they are just sabotaging my attempts to cancel my subscription is beyond believe

    You can cancel, but Adobe will charge you a pro-rated amount based on (I think) what it would cost if you had used the month by month option. So for 2 months you would have been charged $150 so taking out what you've already payed, $60, you're out should cost you $90. Check with Adobe though, that pro-rate formula might be different from what I remember reading.

  • I bought a subscription to Creative Cloud with Photoshop CC, but PS remains in trial version and will soon expire.

    So a couple of weeks ago I decided to subscribe to Creative Cloud. Payment was made, and I could download the software that is included in that deal, one of which is Photoshop CC. Now upon starting it for the first time, it asked me if I wanted to continue as a trial version, or if I wanted to buy the license. I already paid for it, so this question seemed strange to me. I checked if I still had to log in with my adobe account, but I already was logged in. I tried logging out & in, maybe that would fix it but no. Also, I can't find any activation key anywhere, not in the e-mail that confirmed my subscription, nowhere.
    I have been working since then, and since photoshop CC trial version will expire within a couple of days, I had to make time to try and fix it now. Sadly I haven't been able to find any solution, and finding any direct support on the adobe help department has been a nightmare. I really hope someone here is able to help me fix this.
    To summarize:
    - I've got a subscription to Creative Cloud (the one with photoshop, that costs 12,29 per month in euro's, I'm from the Netherlands)
    - Photoshop CC installed, keeps asking if I want to keep on using the trial version, or get a license.
    - Upon making the choice to get a license, it just asks for an activation key, which I do not have
    - Logging in & out with my adobe account in Photoshop CC itself does not fix the problem.

    Thanks for your reply. I was able to find help through a tech support chat session and the person helped me edit my /etc/hosts file and it solved the problem.
    For anyone else experiencing this issue (Mac OS X):
    Close all other programs and sign out from the Adobe Desktop App
    From the Finder, Go > Go to Folder...
    Type /etc and hit enter
    Find "hosts" file (only "hosts", there were similar files such as hosts.config but only open the one that says "hosts"
    Open the file, and replace the entire content with ### Host Database## localhost is used to configure the loopback interface#
    Close the file, sign back into the Adobe Desktop App
    Problem solved!

I am trying to switch over to that license but I am being asked for a Serial Number even though it is a subscription. How to I completely log out of my Adobe ID and then start over with the new ID? Do I have to uninstall everything?

    You should be able to Sign Out and then Sign In again with the Adobe Application Manager to switch accounts.
