No SOLUTION FROM HERE, but I have an unresolved issue with similar overtones.
As a new member, having had a birthday gift from a family member in another country, I am dismayed to find out that there is an unresolved business logic issue, which will allow me to own a MacBook Air, but because I live in a different country to the place of purchase there is a big No No. Additionally, my pension provideds me with a credit card from that first origin, but I am forbidden from buying any software elswhere? Apple seem reluctant to discuss this with me, but some solutions have been offered to get me the free downloads?
Does this come under 'unfit for purpose' and/or 'dodgy trading'? Apple unspoken message, buying from abroad. Dont go there!
Any help or views?

I recently bought the house my uncle owned. My uncle had verizon DSL when he lived here, and after he died his daughter canceled the service. When I moved in I called Verizon to get the DSL hooked back up and they have told me that it is not available here. houses on each side of me have it and across the street. I would call back and ask for a manager that may be able to get it done. The line may just need to be checked with someone from engineering and not sales. Some of the address databases are wrong at times.
Depending on your usage, and location to a cell tower, you may want to look at a 4g LTE hotspot or modem. It might be faster.

I have inherited my daughters Macbook Air and am trying to update i photo. The message I receive is - update not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by another user or item was refunded or cancelled.
I have tried her ID which was still unsuccessful.
I cannot access my photos at all. Can anyone help?

Sign onto her Apple/iTunes ID in the iTunes Store. Then click on the iTunes ID and then on Account in the dropdown. Once you have her account screen displaying, scroll to the bottom and click on RESET next to the line "Reset All Warnings for Buying and Downloading", then try again (with her iTunes ID still signed on).

Autofill in Google Toolbar does not appear to be working with Firefox 4 - It aways gives the message "Autofill not available for this page". This is happening on pages I have used Autofill on before upgrading to FF4 from Firefox 3.5.x

i did not see a solution posted - I tired what I read. Going back to an old version may solve the problem but it is a stupid solution so I have yet to do that.

Iphone5 wifi wont turn on and says its not available?

This is my third iphone 5 as my 2 other iphones 5 had faults with them and ive just had to pay £200 for this last one as my other one was out of warranty. Now my wifi wont allow me to turn it on and it says its unavailable. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Until you get the temperature warning then power your device down and leave it somewhere cool to cool down for at least 15 minutes then power up your device again and it should connect up to a network.

You would need iPhoto 9.6.1. If you have been using iPhoto and kept up with the updates then it should be in your Purchases in the App store. If not then it is gone and you will have to use the new Photos app. If you had an earlier version of iPhoto you can delete that one and when you again download from the App store it will download 9.6.1 (this assumes that it is in your purchases from before).

Thanks again kglad. I have walked through several of these and no results. When I launch InDesign in gives me the "Licensing has stopped working" But that is the only program. The rest tell me I may need to uninstall and reinstall the programs. They wont even try to start up. I believe the problem started when I tried to use the CC Cleaner tool. I believe it deleted something. It now gives me an error message:

When I try to open the Add or remove Adobe Creative Suite. So now at this point it seems I cant even "Uninstall" my software? Is that right? Sorry I'm pretty dumb with the whole computer thing really

I also tried to make sure all my songs were up to date with my iTunes account, so I can restart my iPod.)
