Bouncing out without the 'BIP' suffix?

Hi,
Every time I use the 'Export all tracks as audio files', it creates the files fine, with all the correct file names but puts 'bip' at the end of each name.
This annoys me!
Is there a way to prevent it from doing this/magically take it away afterwards??

Are you sure you're doing it right. It shouldn't do that unless either your tracks are names contain bip (most likely you bounced a track to audio with 'create new track for bunced file' enabled) or you are setting your destination in the Audio folder of your project. If it's the latter, bounce them to the Bounces folder and see if that helps.
Never seen this before if it is a bug.

I was researching ways you might be able to save that email to a picture or export it and found this little gem in the iPhone Users Guide, found here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf about how to take a screenshot.
Its on page 12 toward the middle:
Take a screenshot: Press and release the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time. The screenshot is added to your Camera Roll album.

Mail icon bounces out of the blue

Hi there.
I've noiticed the Mail icon bounces out of the blue in the dock.
I'm working with other programs or browsign the internet and Mail is calling for attention.
I open the progam, it opens properly, I close it after, and it starts to bounce again, driving me crazy.
Any ideas how to make it stop?

Other options:
Do a Safe boot then restart normally.
* shutdown
* start the Mac and *wait* for the startup chime to sound
* after the sound, press and hold down the shift key
* keep holding and *wait* until the grey  Apple logo appears
* now release the shift key and just wait (it could take a few minutes)
* eventually the login screen appears with the words SAFE BOOT

Audigy4 Pro - spdif out without the breakout box possib

Hi there,?I have just gotten an audigy pro 4 but it didnt come with the breakout box. Is it still possible to get spdif out of the card WITHOUT the breakout box?I'm guessing no as the outputs dont look like dual function lineout/digital outs?please tell me im wrong!?cheers?cRuNcHiE?

Good lord, you're right!
Why did your 'Pro' come without the breakout box? That's unfortunate as the card itself has reduced connectivity. You'd have to connect the Digital I/O module to the digital port on the external box which apparently you don't have.
Sorry but you need the box! Either that or dump your Audigy 4 Pro and get the regular model. Or better yet an X-Fi XtremeMusic (?50) -- Same quality as the models 5 times its price, and still does it all in hardware (it's the SAME card, comes without the breakout box, BUT you can attach the digital I/O module to it, unlike the Audigy 4 Pro)

How can I share a form that I filled out without the recipient being able to edit it?

I've created a fillable form to use as a grading rubric. I want to be able to share the completed form with students, but it's imperative that they not be able to change anything. Once the form is filled out, how can I save it as a regular pdf, not a form?

You don't want to use Preflight to flatten form fields since it is buggy for this. Instead use JavaScript (flattenPages method), or use this free JavaScript based tool: UVSAR : Selective Flattener tool for Adobe Acrobat 8, 9 and X
Overprint flattening isn't relevant to this.

Saving a Signed PDF, without the '-signed' suffix being added to the filename

I am experiencing an issue with Adobe reader 11.
I have a number of users who will be authorizing and signing invoices with a digital Jpeg signature (not Echosign).
The intention is then to save the file in the same location on the Network, replacing the original file.
However, since using version 11, it appears that as soon as you add a signature to an invoice, you are prompted to save the file as: {filename}-signed
Having the '-signed' added to the file, then means we will be left with 2 copies of the invoice on the network drive. And as the other part of the process involves opening the invoices by using a hyperlink, we will have big problems with duplicated files etc...
I know that the user should be able to delete the '-signed' extension, but errors may occur, where they don't always delete accurately.
So, is there a way to switch this facility off?
In Version 10.1.6 this didn't appear to be a problem, but i have a user who experiences the problem i 10.1.7 also. OS include Win 7 And Xp, dependent on which user, but the problem isn't OS specific

Emails that go out without the attachment

i consistently have one client that never receives attachments and/or photos in emails that i send from my iphone. not sure why this happens, and don't want to screw up my settings by messing around.

If it is only happening with one person, or people at one company it is likely an issue with their email server. It is not uncommon for company's to strip email attachments, or not allow embedded images for security reasons.

How do I print a pdf without the standard crop marks that appear when I have created it in Illustrator originally?

I am so frustrated as I cannot work out why my pdf files that I have created in Illustrator, print out on my printer with crop marks as well as scaling the image to fit them in on the paper. I just want to be able to print it out without the crop marks at the correct and original size it was designed in.

The crop marks are part of the design, no reason why Acrobat wouldn't print them. You could try cropping them out in Acrobat.

How can I print out the graph I need only, without the controls and indicators?

you should use the report generation functions to create a report containing your graph image and print it.
Take a look at the Sample Test Report.vi you find in the report examples of LV.
Just look at the part of the diagram where it is used Append Control Image to report.vi (in the center of the report functions chain); a graph reference is wired to the Ctrl reference input ( to create a reference of your graph right click on it and select create reference).

I have a mac osx version 10.9.2. I used to have the student version of creative cloud cs6 earlier this year. I cancelled my subscription several months ago and bought cs5 two weeks ago. I never had any problems with the cloud. Hi Jay,
Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.

Your cell carrier would have a record of it. They might even blacklist the phone so nobody else can use it.

If the PDF is a form fillable PDF, which I assume that it is, email it to yourself or send it to DropBox and open it on your computer. You should see the fields filled in there. It works for me if I do it that way.
Adobe Reader supports it, but the other apps don't. I assume that if you email the PDF to a computer user it would be readable in Adode Reader.
