Svp qu'elle est la meilleur façon de creer un bouton pour masquer et faire réapparaitre une image, vidéo ... ou un élément avec un bouton de fermeture en haut a droite. est ce on utilisant les boutons dps ou edge est comment.

Évidemment, il existe d'autres façon de faire et vous pouvez adapter cette méthode à vos besoins, mais vous devriez avoir l'idée.

Je me suis insipré d'un script utilisant un masquer pour
faire défiler du texte. Or tout fonctionne bien jusqu'au
moment où je veux inclure une CSS externe our un truck du type
monDiplay_mc.maListe_mc.monScrollingBlock_mc.monText_txt.

2 - ton masque est rectangulaire ?
3 - Tu utilises la m�thode MovieClip.setMask() ? Si
c'est pas le cas

Looking for a Edge/JS/DPS tutor

Hi
I'm working on a project using Adobe DPS. Id like to incorporate some of the more complex Edge effects (like controlling the timeline via a scrollable frame with DPS for playback on iOS). Everything Ive seen, and tried, works fine on a browser but chokes once I pull into iOS. I'll bet some of the code published on the forum only needs some simple edits to work for me, but its over my head.
PM me if you are interested. This might be an easy way for you to pick-up a few bucks. Final code must work via DPS Folio.

Is there a known bug when animating images with edge and dps?

Hi, I've seen some oddities when using edge to create html5 elements for Indesign. Essentially I have spent hours trying to get an image to scroll from left to right. Works fine in a browser and worked fine in dps and iPad yesterday. Using the same setup: the stage in edge is 768x1024 I then animate a large image in the x axis 0 to -500 over 6 secs, I then apply a ease in and out. I then save the HTML, and publish for dps. Within dps I goto file > place and select the published file that edge generates for dps. I then update and preview either in desktop or iPad - the file loads but the animation does not play.
Weirdly if I follow the exact same steps but add some other bits of animation ie drawing a square and moving it, the animation plays. If I open an existing file I.e your inbuilt tutorial files, delete the content and redo the image animation it works, it's only in a new project that it doesn't preview or play in iPad?
Another issue I have is when it does load the animation doesn't load in that well and shows most of the bottom and then after a .5sec the rest of it loads. so it's a vbit scrappy - any suggestions?

To give you a bit more info, we used my bosses computer and he was able to recreate the same issue with the animation not loading. however if we change the process by using the rectangular frame tool and using the web content folio overlay it works, and inserting the HTMLResources.zip. However we noticed that the animation did not run smoothly, very jerky like the ipad was struggling. I've now corrected this, by changing the properties of the image within edge from div to img. This seem to have worked nicely.
So there are some weird things going on, more so around the publishing function within edge.

Thanks, I know how to create animation in Edge and Import in Indesign. What I don't understand is how to use my animation as a menu / index / toc for idesign page.
I guess it involve some scripting that indesign can understand, like an anchor/link (on Edge) that goes to a page/article in Indesign.
Is it possible?

Adobe Edge to DPS help

I'm trying to create an animation in Adobe Edge that can be controlled by swipe/finger, not an auto-play, when exported to Adobe DPS. Is this possible? Are there any good tutorials/code snippets out there that would make this possible? Thanks!

Animation Edge in DPS project play at the same time

Hi,
i work to a DPS project with the last version of indesign CC and Edge.
I create 2 animations in Edge (oam files), i have placed the firt animation in a page in indesign and the second in a second page.
When i test the project in Adobe content viewer, the second animation start in the same time of the first animation
but they are on 2 différents page... i dont understand why ?
i want play the first animation on her page and start the second animation just when arrive on the second page,
but now when i arrive on the second page the animation is finish...

Adobe Edge in DPS: size issue in fullpage animation

hello
if i make a fullpage animation 1024*768 in edge
and import it
it works
BUT
the problem is that if something ion the animation went "outside" the 1024*768 in Edge, then indesign understands that you can go further in iPads dimensions
Exemple: i got a flying object that gets out of the screen, so in my animation at the end it has to be out of the 1024*768 original box right ?
then when i import the html through overlay creator panel in a 1024*768 rectangle it's fine but when i go to the ipad, if my finger moves to the right (where my flying object went), then it does a swipe from the overflow dimensions in some kinf of blank page
is that normal ?

I'm having a hard time picturing this. Can you post the actual Edge file that you're placing?
Edit: If you're using CS6 you place the OAM file. For earlier file you would indeed need to link to the HTML.
In either case if the stage is 1024x768 there shouldn't be an issue.

a2 se masque lorsqu'on clique dessus et affiche a3
b2 se masque lorsqu'on clique dessus et affiche b3
jusque la rien de compliqué, j'utilise la fonction suivante pour afficher le bouton :

Ou pour le masquer :
this.getField("nom du bouton à masquer").display = display.hidden
Maintenant, ça se complique.
Lorsqu'on clique sur a1, je veux que :
- a2 s'affiche et masque a3,b2 et b3, si et seulement si b2 était préalablement affiché.
ou
- a3 s'affiche et masque a2,b2 et b3, si et seulement si b3 était préalablement affiché
Même logique pour b1 lorsque l'on clique dessus :
- b2 s'affiche et masque b3,a2 et a3, si et seulement si a2 était préalablement affiché
ou
- b3 s'affiche et masque b2,a2 et a3, si et seulement si a3 était préalablement affiché.
Voilà mon objectif.

2 objets dans un masque ou texte dans un masquer

J'ai posté avant hier sur des problèmes de CSS sur
style dans un masque, mais en fait le problème serait
plutôt sur la possibilité d'insérer 2 objets dans un
masque : comment faire, et est ce possible ?
Je suis parti d'un script trouvé dans un livre

il s'agissait de créer du texte défilant et pour ce
faire, utiliser un masque.
Pour améliorer le rendu, j'ai voulu introduire du style,
en interne ou en externe : rien à faire.
j'ai aussi essayer d'inbtroduire une image enb plus du texte
: résultat, j'ai l'image, ou le texte, mais pas les deux.
Ma conclusion est que l'objet style représente un
deuxième objet différent du texte et donc on ne voit
rien.
Je cherche une idée pour faire cohabiter deux objet
différents dans un masque. merci

If you know how to handle the "<0,00030 give me 0" then you will be able the similar challenge of find a string like "Ben" inside the word Benjamin and able to handle that as well.

Adobe Edge animation glitching html page and SVG disappearing

Hi all,
I am having an issue with an Adobe Edge animation that I am making for a client - I am fairly new to Edge so this may be an easy fix!
There is an SVG named chassis (Looks like a brown tadpole) that halfway through the animation - disappears and then glitches the webpage by drawing a white background that overlaps everything...
I have set the background in Edge to transparent so I don't know why this is happening, even in the 'Preview in browser' option it happens.

Can you try out one thing. We suspect this issue is caused because of the anti-scaling which we apply.
Just try to disable anti scaling.Follow the steps below :
This scale factor can be changed from:
1. Close Animate
2. Open the preference folder:
a. Windows: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Edge Animate\4.0.0\
b. Mac: /Users/{username}/Library/Prefrences/Adobe/EdgeAnimate/4.0.0/
3. Open the AppPrefs.xml file in a text editor.
4. Search for the Current line in AppPrefs.xml:
<key>SvgAntiScaleFactor</key>
<float>10</float>
Update this to:
<key>SvgAntiScaleFactor</key>
<float>1</float>
5. Launch Animate.
However note: This setting will work only for new animate content that you create after this setting is applied - i.e it will work only for newly pasted SVG’s in a new composition.
Exiting Animate compositions opened after applying the setting(Step 5 above) will still show the same problem. You will need to delete the SVG and copy-paste again.
Do let us know if this solution helps in your case too.

Best workflow from InDesign to Edge Animate for DPS

I'm working on a DPS project and want to take an article that I designed in InDesign, and bring it into Edge Animate to animate.
What's the best way to do that?

There is no good way to do that but without seeing the layout it's pretty much impossible to give you any advice at all. BTW, The Edge and DPS forums would be way better places to post this.
