Box Connector

The Box connector allows one to select a document and send thru EchoSign to be signed.  Yeah!  - Available through selecting a box item - right click - other actions - then send to EchoSign.
Question:  Is it possible to send more than one document at a time - or is this just one document at a time?  It is not obvious how one adds a document or puts them "in a sequence or pile" to be sent to EchoSign to be signed.
Maybe send a folder?  What order would they be in? (Alphabetical by file name or date or ??)

I did hear back from Box on their community forum.  I think we still have an outstanding question that is back in EchoSign's camp.   I did try to select multiple files with action steps without success; seems this connector works only on one document at a time.  Confirmation would be appreciated.

Hi Mack,
Thank you for contacting Box Support!
I went ahead and did some research about EchoSign. It looks like they can send multiple documents at a time. You will need to have access to their 'Mega Sign' feature. I've attached a link that explains the feature. However, keep in mind that MegaSign is available for Enterprise & global customers, this feature gives you the ability to send a document for 1 to 300 users in one go, all of the copies will be sent to individuals & there Signed & filed copy will be separate as well.
https://helpx.adobe.com/echosign/kb/hub2.html
EchoSign is a product from Adobe so I am not an expert in their features. I've attached a link that will direct you to the support team for EchoSign.
https://www.echosign.adobe.com/en/support.html
I hope this helped! Please let me know if you have any more questions regarding Box.
Have a wonderful day!

  • Installing OIM connectors using a different name.

    Hello,
In my OIM environment, I have two target resources that are sun directories.
In my OIM env I installed an 9.0.4.12 SJSDS connector (OIM version is 9.1.0.2). The out of the box connector names all OIM artifacts using the convention IPLANET or IPNT (e.g. UD_IPNT_USR, adpIPLANETMODIFYUSER).
Since I want two instances of this connector I need to use a different name. To customize this name do I need to edit the xml files (iPlanetResourceObject.xml, iPlanetXLResourceObject.xml)? Seems very tedious and error-prone.
Has anyone done this, can you share your experiences.
    Thanks,
    Sunny

It is a very common method to enable support of multiple AD domains (with different ROs).
It is tedious and error prone but it is the easiest way to get this done. You may want to consider writing some XSLT to automate parts of the process.
    Best regards

  • Connector for custom built application

    Hi all,
Can SAP IDM support custom application?
The  application uses Oracle tables to store IDs, Roles, Passwords etc.
I am new to SAP IDM.
But I do have some experiences with Oracle IDM and IBM Tivoli IDM.
    Thanks in advance,
    dongsu.

So, with custom application do you mean an application that was developed from scratch in-house or in consulting project?
Then the answer is "no" for an out of the box connector to all applications. The integration depends on the APIs/technology the custom application supports and where in the end the access rights are provisioned. The only easy way (closest to out of the box) to provision rights to custom applications is when the custom application uses LDAP/AD as a user storage. You mentioned already Oracle database, it is not necessarily much more difficult than LDAP/AD if the operations translate to SQL sentences.
I think the work starts in understanding the access rights model and user management requirements in the custom application. Do you need only to create the user? Maintain several attributes for the user in the target system? Delete/inactivate the user? Would you need to provision different kind of access right levels / is the target system role based / how many roles? etc etc
Next thing is understanding how the provisioning works in IdM and how the SAP Provisioning Framework can be extended with your own plugins (plus what ever is needed).
Maybe you can post more information about the scenario for better answer..
    regards, Tero

  • Remedy Connector

    Hi,
If there is no Out of the box connector available for any application, then we connect to remedy , send the user information, open a ticket and create accounts in particular application. My question is it possible to create multiple tasks under one ticket like Novell account creation, provisioning user desktop or do we have to raise separate tickets for each task

  • Trying to understand OIM - Please help

    Hello All,
I am pretty new to OIM, just trying to understand how OIM works. For the past 4 years I was in Sun IdM and planning to switch over to OIM.
I read some documentation, I think OIM will perform basic provisioning and it contains out of box connectors to do basic provisoning. I have some questions can anybody please help
    - Sun IdM uses Express language to develop custom workflows or forms, in OIM to develop workflows which language did you use, is it Java or any other language?
    - If I want to provision users on AS/400, HP Open VMS or AIX systems, how can I do that I don't see any out of box connectors for these resources, so in order to integrate these resources do we need to write our own custom connectors?
    - If the out of box connector does not support a specific function on a resource what are the options do we have? for example if the AD connector does not support to delete the exchange mailbox, how your going to perform this in OIM? Do we need to write a Java code for this?
    - How much Java coding is necessary in OIM?
    - Is OIM supports role based provisioning?
    Please share any information.
    Thanks in advance.

    - If OOTB connectors are not available then you'll have build you own connector as per Target Resource.

    - You'll have customize their connector as per your requirements or write your own
How much Java coding is necessary in OIM?
    - We can't calculate how much java. It's totally depends on requirements how much code you'll ahve to write. But everything will be done using Java only.
    - Is OIM supports role based provisioning?
Here Group represent Role. At a small scale it supports. But for large scale you'll have to use Oracle Role Manager as you do in Sun Role Manager.

  • How to Configure OIM 9.1 for Request-Based Provisioning

    Hi experts,
I am new to OIM and need to know how to configure request based provisioning. Here is the scenario.
My environment has two target systems (Sun LDAP and Novell EDirectory) configured for provisioning to OIM 9.1
A user should be able to login, request either or both (SUN LDAP and EDir) for self or others.
Now the request should go to an admin for approval.
Once approved, the requested accounts should be created on the target systems.
Please guide me on the procedure to be followed.
    Many thanks in advance

You will have to download the standard out of box connector for these target systems & will have to import it through the Deployment manager into OIM. Then you will have to create the Process definition of approval type & attach it to the same resource object. Please read the belo link before implementing any thing. This will provide you a better idea.

  • Cannot debug from Eclipse (Mac OS 10.7, Drive 3.01)

I piggy-backed this on another discussion three days ago, but perhaps creating a new thread will get more attention.
I recently downloaded the Adobe Drive 3 SDK and am having problems debugging the sample connectors from Eclipse.  I've followed all of the instructions in the documentation, but no matter what I try I cannot get my built connectors (both basicftp and helloworld) to show up when I try to initiate a connection in Drive 3.01.
I am definitely checking (selecting) the bundles for these two samples in the run configuration, as well as all the dependant bundles ("Validate Bundles" passes successfully).  In the console, if I type 'ss' I see both of the samples listed as ACTIVE.  I launch Drive after I see them as active.
I tried typing 'csstat' in the console but that does not seem to be a recognized command (per the documentation).
When I launch Adobe Drive 3.01 I only see the two out-of-the-box connectors (DAM and CMIS).
If I do a proper build and export to the CS5ServiceManager directory, they do show up in Adobe Drive.  However, I really need to be able to run from within Eclipse to debug.
I've followed the troubleshooting steps and killed the CS5ServiceManager and Adobe drive processes using Activity Manager (I'm on a Mac OS 10.7 Lion) and also deleted the 'data' folder, rebooted, no luck.
I even tried doing a clean installation of everything on another machine, and had the same problem.
Please help or suggest something else to try.  Thanks!

Thanks so much for the suggestions.
I haven't tried the 32 bit JVM yet, but your comments got me thinking about which bundles I have selected in my run configuration.  When I first tried selecting ALL bundles, I got an error when launching:
The bundle could not be resolved. Reason: Missing Constraint: Import-Package: com.adobe.versioncue.serialization; version="0.0.0"
To correct that, I had gone back to the run configuration, cleared all bundles, and pressed the "Add Required Bundles" button.  This only added a small subset of all bundles, but got rid of the validation error.
I now went back and selected all bundles, despite the validation error, and now I am successfully able to launch the sample.basicftp bundle from Eclipse on one of my two machines.  The other one doesn't work, and when I go type 'ss' I see one of the bundles seems to get stuck in the STARTING state:
    com.adobe.csi.bootstrap_2.0.0.201003221714
I can probably continue working with my one working machine, but something still doesn't seem right.
    1)  Should I be seeing that "Missing Constraint" error above?  If not, then where do I find the bundle that it is looking for?
    2)  Any idea why the com.adobe.csi.bootstrap is getting stuck in the STARTING state.
Once again, thanks so much for your help!

  • Urgent:Regarding data reconsilation

    HI all,
    1. i have PSFT as trusted source and EBS as target source. now when we connect to this sources by using out-of-the-box connectors which is already avilable, what it will ask while installing connectors and which tables it is going to connect?
2.i have a requirement that i need get the data related to users from diff tables of PSFT and need to provision that data in diff tables of EBS,wether we need to fulfill this by using predefind connectors or we need to use custom connetors?
if possible please give me the steps for the above queries.
please help me out in this
    thanks for your time
    Regards
    siva

PSFT needs profile to be set at PSFT for the data and EBS has queries in the properties file with the connector. Installation does not in itself does anything but you will have to configure the connectors post installation as per your requirement. My suggestion would be to go through the connector docs to understand the architecture and feasibility.

  • OIM 11gR2 provisioning with GTC

    Hello,
We are curently implementing Oracle Identity Manager 11gR2, and we are having difficulties with the implementation of the provisioning from OIM to the Target Systems exposed through a webservice on Oracle Service Bus.
We are using the Generic Technology Connectors as a basis of working. And initially we have created a GTC with only reconciliation Transport & Format Providers:
    Connector Name TargetSystem1
    Transport Provider (Provisioning):
    Format Provider (Provisioning):
Transport Provider (Reconciliation): Database Application Tables Reconciliation
Format Provider (Reconciliation): Database Application Tables Reconciliation
We have configured the Process Definition of TargetSystem1 with all the operations (Create User, Update User, Enable User, Disable User, Delete User, etc.) connected with custom Java implementations, that are working just fine is we trigger them form Eclipse. The “Create User” task has only “Required for Completion”, “Allow Cancelation while Pending” and “Allow multiple instances” check boxes set to CHECKED; it also has all the fields in Integration TAB mapped, Responses mapped, but when we create a User in OIM and provision it with an account on the TargetSystem1_GTC Application Instance, the provisioning process in not accessing the “Create User” task to make the provisioning in the target system. The user that we are trying to provision has the account Status set to “Provisioning” and the Account Type set to “Unknown”. We have also checked the logs of OSB, but there is no activity there, because no request from OIM is being received.
After we investigated more closely the Oracle documentation for the Generic Technology Connectors we discovered that if we do not select Transport & Format Providers during the GTC creation, then the corresponding steps are not performed and they are not initialized, thus the provisioning cannot be done. The documentation also states that if we need to create custom providers in order to make the Provisioning with the GTC, but unfortunately we have no knowledge or any examples on how to do such custom providers for the provisioning of Users from OIM on the target systems via the Oracle Service Bus.
We have installed a second GTC with both provisioning and reconciliation Transport & Format Providers:
    Connector Name: TargetSystem2
    Transport Provider (Provisioning): Web Services
    Format Provider (Provisioning): SPML
Transport Provider (Reconciliation): Database Application Tables Reconciliation
Format Provider (Reconciliation): Database Application Tables Reconciliation
The Web Services and SPML options were the only options that we could select from the out of the box connectors that are installed, and we did not find any other connectors in the download section of Oracle for this product, that can accommodate such communication. So, we configured the provisioning accordingly, and modified the “Create User” task from the TargetSystem2_GTC Process Definition, in order to use our custom adaptor instead of the adpTargetSystem2_GTC adapter that was preset when the TargetSystem2_GTC is created. But this does not help us, because the provisioning is not done, and the “Create User” task is not used. The user that we are trying to provision has the account Status set to “Provisioning” and the Account Type set to “Unknown”.
Next we tried to see if the GTC can be used to communicate directly with the OSB, using the Web Services Transport Provider and SPML Format Provider, and we did not make any modifications to the after the normal installation of the TargetSystem2 GTC. In this case the we can see that the OSB is being accessed by OIM, but unfortunately this case does not help us also, because the operations implemented on the OSB webservice have a different structure then the one SPML expects as default:
Caused by: com.thortech.xl.gc.exception.XSDValidationException: The SOAP response does not contain a valid SPML response type. Should be one of these -->addResponse modifyResponse deleteResponse resumeResponse suspendResponse setPasswordResponse
Do you have any suggestion on how to make the provisioning process work?

    Hi,
I think you need to put this check only for few attributes?
If Yes, then lets suppose you want to have a check for Country Field in Database which once modified by target Admin, then OIM should know.
    1) Create one dummy field CountryDummy (Hidden) in OIM TargetProcess form and dont map it to any target attributes. This dummy field will only store values populated from OIM user profile to -> DB Connector Process Form.
    2) On success of "Reconcilation Update Recievced", Put a custom process task which does a comparison with "CountryDummy" & "Country" and inform Admin using email notifications that this mismatch has been found.

  • Handling Multi-Valued attribute in trusted reconciliation

    Hi,
We have a requirement where an attribute is multi-valued in LDAP(Sun One Directory Server) which is a trusted source for OIM. We wanted to use oracle Out-of-the-Box connector for Sun Java System Directory Server. We wanted to bring in this multi-valued attribute into OIM, concatenate everything and populate it to a OIM User form attribute. Hence though the value is multi-valued in trusted source, we process it and populate as a single valued attribute in OIM. Since we run trusted reconciliation we are unable to bring this multivalued attribute for the user into OIM.
Can anybody suggest any other workaround available to achieve this functionality without touching connector source code?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Deepa

I would highly suggest writing your own custom code.
You'll need to create a UDF that is large enough to handle your concatenated value. A resource object marked as trusted object. A provisioning process defintion to map the value to the field.
Then write a custom scheduled task that will connect to the LDAP directory, perform your search using the modifytimestamp attribute to get all the values. Concatenate them together in your code and create the reconciliation event.
It will turn out to be smoother than dealing with an entity adapter that runs everytime an event occurs which might not be related to this item.

  • Populating configuration items: Computers, Services and People under Related Items tab in Computer CI form

    Hi,
We have integrated SCCM and SCOM with SCSM to import the CI information in CMDB.
We are able to import few CI information from SCCM regarding softwares, OS, etc and from SCOM regarding hardware and discovered objects.
When we open the Computer CI in SCSM, we are able to relate almost all the fields from SCCM and SCOM expect Related items tab.
The Configuration Items: Computers, Services and People are empty under related items tab on Computer CI form.
Kindly please help me to understand regarding this related items tab.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Kumaresan Lakshmanan

    Hi,
The Related Items is not automatically populated by any out-of-box connector. You can manually add related configuration items there. What were you expecting to show up under this section?

  • Peoplesoft HelpDesk 8.9 Web Services

    Hi,
We are trying to integrate Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager (EM) Grid with Peoplesoft HelpDesk 8.9 using Custom Connector framework provded EM as there is no out of box connector for Peoplesoft HelpDesk 8.9.
The connector frame work requires web services operations such as ceate ticket, update ticket etc for Peoplesoft HelpDesk 8.9. to build custom connector using the frame work.
We would like whether Web services are available for the operations in Peoplesoft HelpDesk 8.9 ? Any other suggestions ..
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Easiest way to add/update person data is to use CI based services like CI_CI_PERSONAL_DATA.
This will add, update, retrieve a Person.
You can also use async service HCR_ADD_PERSON to add a person and create an Job record.
But I would advice to use the CI based service, this will provide you all functionality and validation as the Personal Data component.

  • Lookup definition - what it is for? how it could be used?

    Dear All,
I have a few questions regarding lookup definition.
1.What lookups are for?How they can be used?
2.I noticed a lot of out of the box pre-configured lookups are empty. Why? Hmmmm.... Does not make any sense...
    Example,
    Lookup.AD.FieldsForValidation
    3. It looks like Group field might be empty. Why? Is this when lookup definition used by more than 1 form?
    4. What is the naming convention for code field?
    I carefully reviewed documentation below:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32386_01/generic.902/b32143/oimadm.htm#BABIBJAF
    I would appreciate your feedback

My apologies I think I confused you and my question was not clear. (80% already answered by Kevin. Thank you!)
Please let me try to rephrase this for you. (I appreciate your help and guidance!!!!!!)
Lookups are stored in the OIM database .
    The purpose:
    1. Allow user to select a value from the list.
    2. meta data storage (configuration information for adapters, triggers for events, list of available countries, etc. ).Lookups are used by connectors or OIM application itself.
    How they can be populated:
    1. Through API within your custom task.
    2. Out of the box connectors (Lookups for Groups, Organization in AD adapter)
    3. Manually by creating lookup definition from Design console.
    How they can be used:
    1. Set up a query code for the field directly on the Form Designer (Properties tab of the form). FYI There are a few meta link articles regarding lookup manipulation.
    2. through FormMetaData.xml configuration.
What is still unclear for me:
I am planning to create a custom lookup that will contain information that will be used for provisioning.
    1. Is there a naming convension for Code field that I have to follow for custom lookup definition? Some of the existing out of the box lookups start with Lookup. , some does not..... They follow some kind of a hierarchy. For example, Group.Object Permissions.Allow Delete
    2. Why group field sometimes populated, sometimes not? (It is not required for custom lookup definition)
    3. How to filter lookup data through API?
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32386_01/generic.902/b32143/oimadm.htm#BABIBJAF
I will be greatful if you can help me.

  • OIM Provisioning problem with EBS

I use connector to test provisioning function with EBS, and it works.
Besides, there have 2 CreateUser storedprocedure in EBS, and one for SSO(we
can set GUID value when create user). I found the connector used
the non-SSO storedprocedure. The question is can I modify the config files(
    attributemapping_prov.properties, config.properties,storeprocedures.properties)
to utilize the SSO storedprocedure to finish the create operation during provisioning
(I want to specify GUID by myself when create EBS' user through OIM)?
I just tried my opinion, but the logs prompt SQLException.I do not know why? What should I do?
    Any suggestions will be helpful.
    Thanks!

You could definitely write your own connector. We faced a similar problem and solved it by writing our own EBS Connector.
I haven't explored the exact capabilities of the standard EBS connector so you might be able to do this by configuration. My general experience is that it is often better to bite the bullet and create your own connector rather than wasting time trying to get the out of the box connectors to do advanced operations.
It looks like the config files are more for defining the type and number of attributes that is used during user creation rather than control which stored procedure should be called.
    Good luck

  • OIM Password Sync with SAP

    Hi,
I have a requirement of password sync between OIM and SAP. Do you have any idea of how we can achieve this?
Is there any out of box connector for the password sync with SAP?
    Please let me know.

    Ramesh,
Are you using the password hook or something from the framework?
The password hook only works with Microsoft Active Directory.
If you're using a framework task or other job or a custom task you almost always need a SSL enabled connection to the LDAP server.
    Hope this helps.
