BOX CORRUPTED

I have a box where I have my OLD SENT MESSAGES and I know that in this box I have all my e-mails since 2013/january until 2013/december. I only see the messages until 2013/july and I´m sure all be there. I delet the index but didn´t work. I have this problem in the past and I solve it, but I don´t remember. Please help me. My e-mail is [email protected]

PLEASE HELP anchored text boxes corrupted CS5

I have a book I've been working on for some time that is close to final. It has anchored text boxes in the sidebar that flow with the text and is being edited in an IC assignment environment. I made semi-final edits to it yesterday and exported a PDF, but when I started scrolling through the pages, I noticed that whole pages of the content were blank. The stories were still flowing as if there was text on the blank pages, but there were no text boxes to select and it was intermitten through the whole document. Thinking the layout file was corrupt, I exported to IDML and opened that. It recovered almost identical to the other file and now all the anchored text boxes are completely locked. I can no longer select them to edit the text or move them. I tried unlinking the IC stories, still locked. I tried going back to a version of the ID file from before I made the edits--figuring the edits would be preserved in the stories and I could just reedit the layout, but while I've managed to recover the pages of content that had gone blank, my anchored text boxes are still completely locked. Does anyone have any suggestions. This book was nearly final and I have a hard deadline.
Mac 10.5.8, ID 7.0.4
I do have ID CS5.5 on another computer. Do you think it would be worth trying to convert the file to the newer version and then back to CS5?

OK, I've completely severed all connection to IC. Anchored boxes are still locked. I exported the whole thing to IDML again and opened that. Anchored boxes are still locked. I copied the text out of the story into a new blank document and the anchored text boxes are still locked. They show little locks on the frames. Is there a way to lock anchored text boxes without locking the story? If there is, maybe there's a way to unlock them? I'm just wondering if some option I don't know about was accidentally applied.

Under BO 6.5, using @Script functionality, VBA could be used to construct a SQL fragment, or a whole SQL statement, and return it for use within a Data Provider.
BOXI 3.1, however, tries to be more helpful. For string variables, it adds extra quotes after a variable is populated by VBA (basically it surrounds the generated string with single quotes, then also doubles up any single quote within the string). For numeric variables, it replaces any commas with periods. Bizarrely, it also replaces semi-colons with commas, but then it will add spurious surrounding brackets.
Broadly, I can see that the developers are trying to help. "You seem to be returning a string, allow me to quote it for you." "Oh, that looks like a number with an embeddded comma. Let me assume you really meant a decimal place." In fact, of course, BOXI's helpfulness destroys the integrity of any SQL generated by VBA.
Does anybody know, please, some way of returning a value from VBA to a BOXI Data Provider in such a way that BOXI leaves it unmodified?

"iTunes corrupt, reinstall" notice after trying to burn a disc, which froze.

Had to pull the power and restart, as nothing else worked, couldn't even coax a right click force quit from the menu bar. I cannot see how to reinstall my current itunes, as this short window box message is asking me to do. I attempted to go ahead and install a new iTunes 8.4.2 for G3 but it said I'm already running a newer version of iTunes. 2005 Mac mini running 10.4.2. I have no other apps of great disk space running. Everything I click on that says iTunes, like in system profile etc, just brings up the same message box: "corrupt or improperly installed". I've tried restarting the mini. Nothing else is effected. Thanks in advance.

Can I delete a corrupt message diretly from the In Box in the Mail folder

I received an e-mail that has an .eml attachment. Mail would not download the entire message with the attachment - although it continued trying to download once it started to load in my in box. I deleted this e-mail message from the server. Now Mail seems to be caught in a continuous loop of "Fetching new mail" The only way I can exit the program is to force quit. When I open the program again the same thing happens. When I try to move this partial e-mail to the trash or delete it, bounce it or forward it I get an "opening mailbox and synchronizing with file system" message
or the program freezes. When I try to copy this e-mail to another folder the message is "resuming interrupted append"
Is there a way to delete just a message from any of the in/out boxes?
It seems like all messaged, in/out/sent etc are all compressed together like a stuffit file but there's not way to get in and delete just a particular message. The only other way I have been able to get rid of a partially corrupted file like this is to remove the entire account or in this instance, the accounts in box, move it to another folder on the desktop, reopen Mail and let it rebuild the accounts in box, then copy and paste everything except for the corrupt file into that. There's got to be an easier way!
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The problem I have is it will go into the trash, but then I have the same problem deleting it from the trash! Even when it looks like it's deleted and I reboot Mail, the file returns to the same spot or in the original In Box.
The problem, I think, lies in the actual corrupted file that's embedded in the in/out/trash etc file in the main Mail folder. From what I understand, Mac has fixed this problem in 10.4 and one can go and delete that particular message/file. In 10.3 land, they are all hidden. Thanks for brainstorming with me!

InDesign CS3 Print Engine Error and Corrupt Print Dialog Box

We are a networked office working on various files off of a server. After setting print settings in the print dialog box and saving the file, when another user (or the same user) reopens the file, the Print dialog box settings are changed in a bizarre, corrupted way, and the file will not print. We get the following error:
Printing Error: The Adobe Print Engine has failed to output your data due to an unknown problem.
and printing fails to the HP LaserJet 4240 PS (64 MB RAM).
We all use Windows XP, SP2, Dualcore 3 GHz Pentium Processors with 3.5 GB of RAM.
Specifically, the Print dialog box shows these strange settings:
Scaling gets set to 0%, copies are set to 0
Spreads are turned on
Print Visible Guides and Baseline Grids are turned on
All printers marks are turned on, offset is set to 0
Use document bleed settings is turned on, include slug area is selected
Output Text as Black is turned on
Omit for OPI has all 3 file formats selected (EPS, PDF, and Bitmap)
Usually resetting the Print dialog box and saving the file allows us to print but then the next time we open the file, the Print settings are corrupted again.
Any solutions? Or any fixes in the works?

We currently only notice this problem with files associated with one project. The project is a book of many chapters, each with it's own file. The problem affects multiple files and multiple users (4 out of 5 people working on these files have experienced the problem). It may very well be a problem caused by a different user opening the files after another has closed them.
We have a LAN with multiple Dell servers running Windows 2003 and many end-user PCs using Windows XP. All printers are on the network but printing occurs locally, meaning that data sent to a printer does not go through a server.
We could test the problem by copying a chapter to one person's computer and making them the only person who works on it for a day or two. It's just hard to do so because different people have different duties to perform on all files.

I've been working with documents in pages and recently downloaded word for mac. i open the pages documents and they appear to be corrupt. at least, a lot of the font is now in weird boxed pictures. what do i do?

You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

Files corrupted in zone after box reset

We have a system where we somtimes have file corruption in a zone.

Solaris Volumemanagement RAID-1/Mirror on two SCSI disksWe have not yet been able to reproduce it.
Does anyone have any idea of what it might be or have ideas of how to reproduce it?

We have a similar configuration with RAID1/mirror and occationally see the same file being corrupted after a box reset. Haven't been able to reproduce it. I know it is not of much help, but always nice to know that you are not alone.

When I try to update or download a newer version I get a box that says file is corrupt, why?

Everytime I try to download a newer version of Mozzilla Firefox it starts to download, then displays a run box, and when you push the run button, a box appears and says file is corrupt. I recently installed windows 7 and I have slow internet.

Any apps that she downloaded onto the device are tied to her apple ID. They cannot be transferred to another account. To update those apps, you would either need her password, or you could delete the apps and download them using your own apple id.

Corrupt Print Dialog box

I recently upgraded Reader to XI and am now getting this corrupt Print Dialog box when I try to print a pdf from within IE10. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Windows 8, IE10, Reader XI

I have 600 users at my company that get the garbled print dialog box with Adobe 9 and IE 11. I used Group Policy to turn on Protected Mode for the Internet and Intranet and now the print dialog box works. Here is where you can find the setting on local group policy (for testing if you are in corporate environment).
Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates-->Windows Components->Internet Explorer->Internet Control Panel->Security Page. You will then go to Internet Zone or Intranet Zone depending on your needs and then Enable "Turn On Protected Mode". Run a gpupdate from command prompt. Hope this helps.

Adobe Reader XI all dialog box's corrupt

It looks like any dialog box in XI is corrupt. This machine is windows 7 pro 32 bit OS.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, used Adobe cleaner on it and reinstalled rebooting each time. I have installed Segoe font as one user had said resolved their problem in a previous search. Nothing has changed the results.

Corrupt authentication dialog box in 10.10.2

The OS X 10.10.2 update has resulting in corrupt authentication dialog boxes. All characters in the boxes have been replaced with the letter 'A' surrounded by their own box. This is universal throughout the OS. A simple way to see this situation is to go to the Utilities folder and attempt to make a new folder. The authentication box pops on the screen but is entirely unreadable, every letter being an A in a box.
I've done a reinstall of 10.10.1 then re-update to 10.10.2 with the exact same results. The volume being used is only for testing Yosemite and for repairing my main boot volume, which runs Mavericks. Therefore, there isn't much alteration of the volume beyond a clean installation.
Dumping user and system cache then restarting makes no difference. I've checked the volume with both Disk Utility and Disk Warrior and found no problems.
The image below is the authentication box that appears when attempting to change something in the Utilities folder:

- The problem is on a MacBook Pro 15" from August 2013 with 16 GB of RAM.
- Installed Launch Agents: Little Snitch, Intego VirusBarrier and NetBarrier, and Micromat TechToolPro.
- Installed Launch Daemons: Little Snitch, Intego VirusBarrier and NetBarrier, Micromat TechToolPro and DriveGenius 3.
- No login items.

Further testing has implicated the use of the Yosemite San Francisco Font from 'wellsriley' at GitHub. Placing the display version of the font into the ~/Library/Fonts folder will trigger the problem. Removing the font will immediately end the problem.
'wellsriley' notes that "System Alert dialogs render as [a-in-a-box] when installed improperly", meaning if the fonts are installed into the ~/Library/Fonts folder. This problem was not evident in 10.10.1 from my experience. Instead, it is advised by the developer to only install the fonts into the root /Library/Fonts folder.
My solution for now is to simply remove the fonts and not use them. Problem solved.√

You can get a "Corrupted Content Error" error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers.

Oracle Collaboration Suite in a box download file 3 is corrupt

I was just trying to download the "in a box" install for Collaboration suite and file:
win32_ocs_90411_singlebox_Disk3.zip
is not a valid archive. Can somebody please fix it and let me know when it is done as I am trying to do an evaluation of Oracle Files

You need to register, but it's free though
Otherwise, if you licensed SAP with Oracle, on market place you'll get the Oracle DVD's. Inside those, run the Oracle Installer and instead of installing the DBMS, choose to install only client tools
