Boxes, Pallets in to a container

I am packing my accessories in Boxes and keeping the boxes in a pallet using multi level and finally keeping all pallets in container for export.
My question is how to proceed for packing process will anyone guide me. What is the material group and material types I should declare.

Outbound Delivery Handling Unit HU material box pallet

Business requirement.
To create a delivery based on a sales order using a function module. To do this, users have an AbapWebdynpro application to collect data,
Handling units for boxes and handling units for pallets are creates as the user packs his materials in the application.
Items are packed in boxes and boxes on pallets.
Problem description: cannot pack boxes onto pallets.
I can pack items in boxes no problems. Delivery gets created ok.
How i do it:
Step 1:
At the end of AbapWebdynpro process and validations, if no errors occurs, a function module is called to format the data and call fm to create a delivery.
This part works as expected and is all ok.
Step 2:
Then in the function module that will create de delivery, header proposal is filled for boxes and pallets. itemproposal is filled for items in boxes and pallets
Step 3:
then,
FUNCTION 'BAPI_HU_CREATE' is used to create handling units for items
This part works perfectly for boxes and items but not for pallets.

This part works fine also if not pallets HU are present in the data .
The problem is when i want to create a pallet and add the boxes to it. I have tried about every thing i read but had not much success.
The only thing that came close to doing the job is the following code.
First i create the delivery with boxes and materials only and with the following FM, i create the pallet and attach it to the delivery line but then i can not assign the boxes to it.

Is anyone succeed to create a program to create outbound delivery where materials are pack into boxes and those boxes are packed on pallets.

If the delivery document PGIed then you need to do VL09 transaction to reverse the PGI document.
Then do in VL02N transaction select Delete handling unit assignment icon it will remove all the handling units from delivery.
Later goto EDIT option then selct copy pack qty as dlv qty then save.Later system will allow you to delete the document.

How packing box (pallet) for finished goods can be used during SD?

We need to create a packing material lets say box, and assume that in one box there are around 10 materials.
how this can be done - is it by using HUM, and later on there is a need to track the movement of these two, kindly suggest me on this

hi sanjana,
this is single level packing.
which contains 10 materials + BOX over it.
so you are requested to use HANDLING UNIT MANAGEMENT for the same.
even if no HUM configuration also its possible - that means even if NO HUM configuration is not there also this will work in normal packing process - please check the configuration

What happened to the elevator box for the window that contains email boxes?

About 2 weeks ago, the window containing my Charter email lost the elevator box at the right side. The email list and text boxes still have elevators for scrolling; but the big window that contains them doesn't.
I like to move the window contents so the menu bar (Send, Reply...Delete etc) is at the top, to maximize space for the email text. I can't do this any more. All other windows still have elevator boxes for scrolling.
I am running Firefox 17 on a MacBook, OS 10.6.8.

My hunch is that this is a problem with the Charter website. Good web designers know how to make a website look identical in different browsers, but sometimes they make mistakes. These mistakes can cause the website to look different in different browsers.
Do you know anyone else who uses Charter in Firefox? Do they have the same problem? If they do, you will know that this is a problem with the Charter website and that Firefox is working fine on your computer.
Either way, there might be some ways to work around this issue. One of these should hopefully do the trick.
Option 1: Take a look near the bottom-right of the screen, where it says '''''Storage:''' x% of 1GB''. Near that corner there is a triangle. I think you can drag that triangle to make the email area bigger and create an elevator in the process. Try it out!
Option 2: I noticed that there is a warning at the top. "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting you to another page." Try clicking ''Allow''. This is perfectly safe, since you know Charter is a reputable website.
Option 3: Just below the ''Log Out'' button there are two buttons, one with an arrow pointing upwards and one with two squares. Try clicking them. Maybe one of them will expand the email area.
Option 4: As a last resort, you can type these three keys at the same time to make the Firefox window bigger: command ([http://www.onedigitallife.com/images/apple-command-key.jpg looks like this]) + Shift + F. You type the keys again to restore Firefox to its normal size.
Hoping one of those does the trick. Let me know how it works out!

I get the "unresponsive script" message now for nearly all sites, and sometimes this is followed by the popup box saying that the "plugin contain for Firefox has stopped working."

Many sites now say that a script is unresponsive. And by unresponsive I mean that the whole browser slows to a crawl and it can take ~20 minutes to get 2 pages loaded.
Also, I sometimes get a popup window saying the the plugin container has stopped working.
This whole issue is making Firefox unusable. I cringe to say it, but I'm currently in IE. :-/

Try tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your devices (Settings > Store if they aren't on iOS 6+) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on them.

How do I use Javascript to populate a text field based on a selection from a drop down box?

I have virtually no experience with JavaScript and I am trying to figure out how to add some basic automation features to an Adobe form. I have a drop down box called "Hospital_Name" that will contain approximately 7 possible selections. When the user makes a selection, I would like to have the text field (called "Hospital_Address") below the drop down box populate with the corresponding address for the selection. I have the "Hospital_Address" text field configured for multiple lines and would like the address to have a line break between the street address and the city/state/zip.
For example, if the user selected "Hospital 1", the text field would display:
123 Main St
Anytown, CA 12345
Any help or examples you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a beginners task but requires a fair amount of knowledge about the structure of objects, defining strings, and structure of arrays.
Are you sure you have all the field names correctly spelled and capitalized?
Do you get any error in the JavaScript console?
Just trying the line that defines the "Location", I get the following error:
SyntaxError: invalid property id

All the form field in a PDF are processed by using JavaScript and any error in any script will stop JavaScript processing.
It might help to have a link to the problem form.

Centering an Alert box.

I have a flex web application in which the flex components are embedded inside portal jsps. When the user clicks on a datagrid (clicks on item renderer inside the datagrid), the Alert box has to notify the user. However the alert box centers itself wrt the flex application and it goes out of the user's view. Because the user can view only a portion of the large datagrid at a particular time (scrollbars for the page are present, not for the datagrid).
I have tried assigning absolute and relative values, but nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions woudl be greatly appreaciated.

I've run into a similar situation and here is what I did to resolve it without using the move method...
Say you have an application that has a layout container which contains a custom component in it somewhere
Application
       |--->HGroup
                    |---> CustomComponent (the one that calls the alert box)
if your alert box code looks like this:

Your alert box will appear centered over the custom component which called it.
Add an id to the container you want the alert box centered on:
Application
       |--->HGroup id="myContainer"
                    |---> CustomComponent (the one that calls the alert box)
Change your alert box code to look like this:
Alert.show(
"Your Alert Message Here!","Your Alert Title Here...",0x4,this.parentApplication.myContainer,null,null);
This will center the alert box over the HGroup layout container that has its id property set to myContainer.
The example above sets the parent property of of the Alert class show method:

So if I'm understanding your issue correctly... regardless of the size of your viewport you'll maybe want a dynamic method to determine the id porperty of the layout container currently being displayed within the viewport, and then center your alert box over that container via the method above.

After clicking on a bookmark it does not remain highlighted. it did this in 3.3 which made running through a list of bookmarks easier. I can make the highlight re-appear by clicking on the bookmarks box , not the x obviously!

In 3.3 if i clicked on a bookmark item, either to open in current tab or to open in new tab, the bookmark was highlighted with a blue bar. If I then backed out or closed the tab, the bookmark item would remain highlighted until I selected a new bookmark item. This made searching through bookmarks easy as I always knew the last item I had tried.
In 3.6 the bookmark highlight disappears as soon as it is loaded, again either in current or new tab. However it can be made to re-appear by clicking on the little box above the bookmarks that contains the word 'bookmarks' and the 'x'

Update - I discovered that the entire list of bookmarks can be accessed in the Organize Bookmarks window by clicking on the icon for Bookmarks Menu.
This seem like odd interface behaviour to me.
All the other software I use follows the pattern that an icon with a triangle to the left, which you click on to expand the menu tree downwards, shows the entire contents of the category when you click on the triangle. In other words, you don't get a different response by clicking on the icon from what you get by clicking on the triangle.
It also seems odd to me that when an unsorted bookmarks folder is automatically provided that unsorted bookmarks would not be placed there by default.
Anyway, by getting the list of bookmarks displayed this way I was able to simply right-click on items in the list and delete them, as I thought I should be able to do. Problem solved. Organize Bookmarks interface found to be somewhat unintuitive.

Vox usb2.0 tv box compatibility

Am thinking of buy a vox usb2.0 tv box. My PC only contains usb 1.1 interfaces. Does the usb2.0 tv box work properly with that interface or does it require usb2.0?

You can use a subVI to do that, put it in a case structure
and wire it to the event which must activate the input box.
The subVI must contain your input control and a boolean
button or buttons (depending the use), which control the
while loop and end it or mantain it running until you want.
Don't forget clicking the subVI and checking "Open front
panel when called" and "Close if originally closed". Hope

How to hide certain items in a Combo Box

I've two Combo Box(CB). First CB contain 4 items(drop-down menus) and the 2nd CB contain 12 items.
I want that when I select one of the items from Combo Box1, then only 4 out of 12 items from Combo Box2 should be visible. So actually I want first combo Box to act as filter. Could this be done using the AS3 code.

I don't think there is any way to hide items, but you can rewrite he items basd on the selectedIndex value of the cbHeight combobox. In the code below, each element of the weightData array is an array of objects.

Can you place keyword headings outside the left margin without resorting to using text boxes?

I want to place different keyword headings outside the margins of my document. Is there a way I can do this without resorting to textboxes?

Hi Eli,
You cannot place text outside the document margins without placing that text into a shape or a text box. Objects, including text boxes and the text they contain, may be placed outside the margins.
Jerry's solution involves moving the left document margin closer to the edge of the table. As you've seen, doing so also adds cmplications to managing text behaviour on the left side of the page.
Here's a variation on Jerry's suggestion that may be easier to manage:
In the Document Inspector, set the left margin to the position at which you want the keyword headings to begin. (0.5")
In the Layout Inspector, set the left margin to make the document margin + this layout margin equal to the position you want for the 'regular' margin fo the body of your document. (0.5" to give the default 1" body margin).
Assuming there is text before the first Keywordheading:
Click immediately after that text, press return to insert a paragraph break, then go Insert > Layout Break to insert a Layout break.
Type the single 'word' "Keywordheading" (without the quotes, and with no spaces), followed by a return, then go Insert > Layout Break to insert a second layout break.
Double click Keywordheading to select it.
Apply any formatting you want (I used a two point larger font size and Bold) for the heading.
In the Layout inspector, set the left margin to zero.
You now have a 'master copy' for your keyword heading, which can be copied, then pasted to each location you want this type of heading to appear.
Select the first Layout Break, the line with 'Keywordheading', and the second Layout break, as shown in the image.
Copy.
Click immediately after the text preceding the next Keyword heading.
Press return, then Paste.
Repeat as needed.
If you have alrady entered the text for these headings, you can use these steps to move them into the keyword heading spaces:
For each heading:
Select the words that make up the heading. Cut (command-X)
Doubleclick 'Keywordheading'. Go Edit > Paste and Match Style.
Repeat for next heading.
If you have not yet entered the text for these headings:
Doubleclick 'Keywordheading' to select it.
Type the heading.
Repeat.
Note that after inserting these heaings, you can copy the three lines (Layout break, word(s)&return, Layout break) of any of them, then replace the text of that heading with the text of a new heading.
Within the indented parts between headings, bulleted lists will behave normally.

The file (null) is missing appears in map box

In the map box , there are two frames containing red x's . The first because no media has yet been added , the second with the cursor-activated nessage "The file (null) is missing" . Is this a problem ???

It only happens when I double click a file to open it. If I open through iDVD it is fine
