Boyfriend new notebook – my dream laptop!!

Today I am slightly emo due to my boyfriend have bought my dream notebook to use. It is good if he told me he buy
that for me. But ya…I am happy also because I have the chance to get to use it!!! Hahaz…Darling I will love you more!!!

So this is his notebook package. Besides, they do give a free bag pack to keep this notebook. Hehex…it is not cute enough but it is very useful. Let’s have a look on the bag.

Basically this is the spec of this notebook and they have built in those highest technologies in the current world. mSATA is able to allow me to boost my system. My boyfriend bought this because of the mSATA. He wanted to use this for his work. mSATA is able to allow him to faster the speed of his laptop so that it won’t hang while he is running certain software.
Besides, the keyboard is built in steelseries keyboard. I bet this is what a main foundation for a gamer? And this is the main item I love the most which I think every gamer must have a steelseries keyboard right? Besides, we can randomly change the colour of the keyboard depends on my mood. Hahaz.

How to setup new notebook from HP laptop with bad hard drive

Got kids a new Hp laptop in June. The hard drive has been getting progressively louder and is obviously about to go, with a blue screen error forcing a roll back of the computer. I have done a full backup to an external hard drive and I am returning this for a replacement. Should I make a recovery disc and reinstall from the disc when I get the new laptop, or should I just plug in the external hard drive and transfer the files over? A guy at work says using the recovery disc is the way to go, because it would reinstall Norton and all the other programs we have installed., but I thought the external hard drive backup was supposed to be the way to do this

If you are receiving a new hdd to put it the laptop, yes you need to burn the Recovery Disks to reinstall Windows & original software on it. You can then use your backup to restore files.
IF the full backup you are referring to is a complete System Image, it can be used to restore Windows, programs and all files,etc on the new hdd. You do need to also burn the Repair CD to boot from and restore the System Image on the new hdd.(I would still burn a Recovery DVD set to have as a fallback)
If you are receiving an entire laptop replacement it will have everything installed on it. You will just have to restore your personal files from the backup

hard drive is OK, and it should have sort of Unix on it,
contact support is truly not easy, because it is not able to recognize SN and PN:

hello
try press F11 while booting up laptop to force from recovery instaltion. If it not works maybe recovery is damaged or was no preinstalled system on it.
Try bios Hard Drive test to ensure hdd is ok.
If U have OS cd/dvd try from it.
If bios test is failed contact HP for hdd replacement if passed reinstall system.
If it wont be possible contact HP - Ur serial should defined in their system.

BTW. heres page with HP warranty check where U can confirm warranty by serial number. If its there it should be also detected in HP data base.:

Installation problem with CS5.5 on my new Windows 8.1 laptop

I downloaded CS 5.5 Design Premium to my new Windows 8.1 laptop. When launching the Set-up.exe file I get the error message "Installer Failed to Initialize. One or more files could be missing." I downloaded the Adobe Support diagnostic tool but it did not help. I think the new IE version could have disabled or blocked some files? Please help.

I'm having the same issue as BioTrak - I'm also not sure if I downloaded from the correct option, as it looked different from a previous download. But when I try to install, it says the same error message, and the Adobe Support tool does not provide a solution.
I know that doesn't answer your question, but yeah... this is what the file looks like, and I try to open the setup file.

Entering your new password on your iPhone will not affect the laptop, as mentioned in this article:

Printing Wireless remote to HP Pho. c4280 from XP through new Win 7 HP laptop

When I hoooked up my brand new DV7 6c63 nr laptop to the USB connection, it printed right away. I have added the Windows 7 drivers. But I cannot figure out how to get my older Dell laptop (Windows XP) to print remotely through the network. (worked fine with my old desktop as direct hookup) Have tried several things and watched a couple of videos, but have probably made a mess of it now! Any advice?

Thanks. I did try this a long time ago, found info in web support. Always said all checked out okay. Again, I can print fine from new Windows 7 machine (HPDV7 6c63 nr), but cannot print remotely through Windows XP Dell laptop, which worked before with my older XP machine that I replaced with HP.
Not sure I should have, but also put the HP doctor on the Dell, still found all was working properly. I do believe I updated drivers on this new HP machine, but tried so many things cannot remember.
Still cannot print remotely even though I have checked sharing on both machines, even tried to create workgroup, but instructions would not work for me.
Honest I have a little knowledge (and you know what they say about that!), but have not been able to solve this though I got my new HP April 30, 2012. AAarrgghh!

Hi all. I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues. Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem. …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive. Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab. Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
Open the Users folder.
Open your user folder
Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco. The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”. Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear. Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?

Yes, you can use the staller CD that came with your iPod. It should have all the iPod Updater and iTunes software needed for your iPod and your new computer.
Also, if you don't have the CD available or you want a different way, you can install iTunes 6.0.5 from Apple's website. See this link for installation:

InDesign CS6 is not optimized for retina displays. You’ll need to move to Creative Cloud for retina compatibility.

CS5's automatic update mechanism is broken, perhaps because it is no longer updated and can't cope with the newer ways of updating.
So this means you will have make a list of the updates that failed, go here: Product updates
and manually download/install from there.
