BP creation in waiting - how to solve ?
Hello,
I'm using 'BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA' into a report scheduled by job.
Sometime the job is waiting for a lot time.
I searched and the cause is that an user would modify a business partner, he got an error and he close
the windows in a wrong way so some sap process is ever in execution.
So my report wait until the process is shut down.
The question is:
There's another way to create a bp by 'BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA' also if are some process in execution ?

I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2 whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6) in VMPlayer.
I am using Cluster Verification Utility (CVU) to test the 2 nodes for Grid installation as follows:
[ora11g@rac1 grid] $ ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n all -r 11gR2 -orainv ora11g -fixup -fixupdir /mydir -verbose
All items for rac2 are passed. There is only one item for rac1 is not passed as follows:
Check default user profile creation mask:
Node Name: rac1
Available: 0002
Required: 0022
Comment: failed
There are 3 ways to solve this issue:
1) In the file /etc/bashrc, change the line "umask 0002" to "umask 0022".
2) In the file /etc/profile, add line "umask 0022" at the end of the file.
3) In the file /etc/csh.cshrc, change the line "umask 002" to "umask 0022".
In rac2, I got the same issue in the past. I just change the line "umask 0002" to "umask 0022" in the file /etc/bashrc and the issue is solved.
But in rac1, I have tried each of the 3 options and also combined 1) and 2), 1) and 3), 2) and 3), 1) and 2) and 3). Totally, that's 7 options. But all of 7 options cannot solve the issue.
The script runcluvfy.sh still tests rac1 user profile creation mask failed. My question is:
Do any folk understand how to solve VM rac1 user profile creation mask problem ?

Hello. I follow the document "Oracle Grid Infrastructure Installation Guide 11g Release 2 (11.2) for Linux E22489-04" and do the following:
[root@rac1 /]#echo $SHELL
Output: /bin/bash
This means we need to edit Bash shell file .bash_profile.
[ora11g@rac1 ~]$vi /home/ora11g/.bash_profile
Add this line: umask 022
Then I save the file .bash_profile and reboot OS.
Then I run the following command:
[ora11g@rac1 grid] $ ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n all -r 11gR2 -orainv ora11g -fixup -fixupdir /mydir -verbose
But the reusult is the same. The issue is not solved as follows:
Check default user profile creation mask:
Node Name: rac1
Available: 0002
Required: 0022
Comment: failed
Do any folk understand how to solve VM rac1 user profile creation mask problem ?

You can set these values in CommEnv.sh (.cmd for windows) file located in the weblogic_home/common/bin directory.
This gets applied to all the domains under that wls home.
If you want to make the changes to specific domain then edit the SetDomainEnv.sh file located under the domain/bin directory.

Backing up - how to solve after copying whole system - login incorrect

I have done an script to backup the whole filesystem and restore it. I am making tests before using forever.
For Windows I use ntfsclone and it works perfect, but for ArchLinux I am doing:
I use Knoppix cd-live to manage everything. I load the script from /dev/sda4 (data partition in ntfs) and the main commands to backup and restore are:
Without doing chroot (because it is not possible)
sudo mount /dev/sda5 /media/sda5 #This is the / of ArchLinux
sudo rsync -aAXv /media/sda5/* /media/sda4/seccopy/ --exclude={/media/sda5/dev/*,/media/sda5/proc/*,/media/sda5/tmp/*,/media/sda5/run/*,/media/sda5/mnt/*,/media/sda5/media/*,/media/sda5/lost+found,/media/sda5/home/*,/media/sda5/var/lib/pacman/sync/*}
cd /media/sda4/seccopy/
sudo tar -zcvf /media/sda4/arch_copy.tar.gz ./*
To restore:
sudo mount /dev/sda5 /media/sda5
sudo rm -r /media/sda5/*
sudo tar -zxvf /media/sda4/arch_copy.tar.gz -C /media/sda5
I can check that the files are copied correctly.
I can do (and really do) the same with the home partition, same process but changing sda5 by sda6, and instead of arch_copy.tar.gz, arch_home_copy.tar.gz
When I restart to boot in the new copied system... the problem:
I go to the normal grub option for Arch Linux and I try again to put the password for ussr1, and nothing.
I type it, enter, wait some seconds and prompt me again.
I try with the root user, and its password, and the same problem. Not access to the system.
I try in tty1, and the same problem, it says:
Login incorrect
First question: How to solve this situation?
I think maybe the problem is something about /etc/passwd or /etc/shadow, and also I try to make chroot to see if it works.
If I try to do chroot from Knoppix to the ArchLinux restored, it is not possible, everything goes ok from this wiki:

I don't know what is "architectures". I installed x86_64 in ArchLinux.

The idea of using rsync instead of dd is because I want to save only the data, and not all the sectors (not enough space in the hard disk).

Ok, after just add the user, if I go to /home/ I can see some files created automatically, and if I compare those files with the files that I pasted in my ussr1 account, there are two that are missed:
.xinitrc
.xsession
xinitrc is executed by startx (so, it is because the X11..)
and..ok, xsession the same (xdm/gdm/kdm). So nothing here.
I also add "try" to the groups: lp, games, video, audio, optical, storage, scanner with:

But as we see, even the try has some error... in this case with directory '7'.
I don't understand why errors... theoretically they were copied and pasted without modifications

There's pretty much no diagnosing those -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If it won't boot up cleanly, then you may need to try Safe Mode:

The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, there are a couple of options. One is to see if you can read the log file:
Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type 'lglg'. (You will not see anything while you type).This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably many pages) untill you see a line that says 'uncaught execption'. Click on this line. The name of the app will be in the info. Alternative methods for bringing up the logs are in this KB:

The other method is to remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app. Still another method is to reload the BB OS cleanly, leaving some time between adding other apps onto the BB so as to be able to determine exactly which one is the cause.

How to solve no service in the carrier
Anyone know how to solve 'no service' in the carrier? I never do jailbreak and encounter this problems frequently. I requested to get replacement of iphone4 and stil having the same problem. I gotta reset all setting frequently as well. Is the sim card, hardware or software cause this problem?
The "No Service" message appears in the upper left corner of the display
Try toggling Airplane mode "on" and "off". Wait five seconds between the off and on modes.
If that doesn't work, try another location.
If another location works, but the original location still does not, contact your carrier to report the issue.
If the message is present in all locations, have the iPhone serviced.

Yes, it's you. The VI is working just fine, except for some cosmetic issues with the labeling. I don't think is is a valid suggestion to force somebody to program in a specific language, especially since LabVIEW supports all these languages.
Here are the problems with the VI:
If you don't want an amplitude of zero, you need to set the amplitude control to a nonzero value before running. Simple as that!. (You could also set the input range for the amplitude control to exclude zero or use a case structure to skip certain code if the amplitude is zero).
You could also wire the error output to an indicator so it simply displays the errors, but keeps running.
Your while loop is currently useless. You can delete it and the program function will not change. Use a stop button at the loop condition.
Your while loop needs some timing so it runs at a reasonable rate. Either add a small wait or configure the signal generation to "simulate acquisition timing" instead of "run as fast as possible".

I was working on my Mac and it was very slow, so i turned it off (it was like quarter and hour while shutdown). After, i tried to boot it again, but didn't boot, so i entered Verbose mode. Error was "disk0s2: media is not present". I entered sigle user mode and i did "fsck -fy". It did the check and it was "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK. FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED. I did fsck -fy again (i read on a forum that is necessary to do this till it doesn't appear FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED) and it didn't appeared, only appered again "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK", so i logged out, but the disk0s2: media is not present was on screen another time. I booted from Mac OS X installation DVD, and i opened Disk Utility. It appeared the wait cursor and freezed. I held the Power button for shutdown and booted again from same DVD. I selected the installation program and when it checked the HDs for install it appeared Macintosh HD with 159'7 GB and 31'97 GB free, but when HD check finished, it disappeared. After doing that like 5 times, Macintosh HD didn't appear anymore when checking. From the single user mode i can enter to HD directories, like /Applications/Parallels or /Applications/ToySight etc. I need help for how to boot again my Mac or how to reinstall Mac OS without losing anything, or how to do a backup. Thanks.

But if the other OBJ didn't send data,how to solve this ERROR？
I means that i want to get my program continue running without/after this error be solved?That is if time is out,it jumps to next line。You could ignore the timeout for the wait and just case to the next function you wnat to call if a timeout ocures. Thus you would not call the read function in a timeout case.
Or you could loop into the wait function again to wait another timout until the frame you expected has received.
