BP daily load failed in process chain

Hi,
I am using process chains for daily loading of master data. I have an infopackage scheduled in that process chain named 0BP_DEF_ADDRESS_ATTR_INIT/DELTA_CRM01 (ZPAK_48WV8918R85SEUHG8N1IP6DJQ) . This infopackage is showing an error. When i diagnosed it says "Second attempt to write record '0030368557' to /BI0/PBPARTNER was successful"
And during error analysis i found this is causing the error.
Has anybody come across this error? How to correct this?

I deleted the request on Requests tab. However the request still runs on the reconstruction tab and when i manually try to do a delta load it says the last load is not finished yet.
Could you please suggest?

Hello everybody,
I am using a ABAP Program in a Process Chain ( Chain of Processes that load data to the BW Cube). I do some check in the Program. If the check is OK, then I will continue with the Process Chain. If the Check Fails, then I should fail the Process Chain.
How do I accomplish this? If you can give me Piece of code, that will be very helpful.

Plss Set the value of the sy-subrc to a non zero value so that the ABAP program step in Process Chain turns RED and Hence the Process Chain will stop.

Loadihng from ODS to Cube failed in process chain

Hi All,
I have a process chain for SD loads scheduled every night. It gave me an error while loading data from Billing ODS to Billing Cube(via Further Processing, and the data is not available in PSA).
The error it gave is as follows:
Error while updating data from DataStore object ZSD_O03
Error 7 when sending an IDoc
Time limit exceeded. 3
Time limit exceeded.
Errors in source system
Now the request is loaded in Cube(YELLOW status) with transfered records 87125 and added 62245. But there is no way by which we can check if the complete data has come to the cube.
i did not delete the previous request from the cube and tried to repeat the process chain from the same point...it then gave me the following error:
-Last delta incorrect. A repeat must be requested. This is not possible.
Please tell me now what should I do...i don't have to miss the delta records in the cube.
1)Should I delete the prevous loaded request in cube and repeat the process chain from the same point...will it get all the delta records in that case???
2)Should I delete the request from cube and manually repeat the last delta for the cube. and then manually load the remaining process chain.
please help me out soon..

you can use 2nd option
Your error message is comming because of lack of BGD process and memory....just set the status of request in cube to red, delete it, and run a repeat load from infopackage.....
If no. of records are high than just go for the option of "load data in PSA and than subsequently in data target"

How to load hierarchies using process chains

Hi ,
Can any one please explain the steps for loading hierarchies using process chain.whenever i drag the hierarchy infopcakage Save variant is also coming by default,so do we need to have different SAve variant for different hierarchy infopackages or can we have one save variant for all the hierarchy variables.

How r u ?
Yes ! SAVE Variant & Attribute Change Run will add up while loading the Hierarchy InfoPackage.
Provide the InfoObject Name for which u r loading the Hierarchy in the SAVE variant and SAVE it. The same will be transferred to the Attribute Change Run also.
If u r creating the Chain with more InfoPackages then have the Save Variant & Attribute Change Run at the last.

Data Load Requirement through Process Chain

Hello All,
I have implemented an area through a custom data source and following is my data load requirement through Process Chain. Request you to kindly help me for the same.
1. The design is an InfoCube and updated using a Transformation through the custom data source.
2. For the entire year 2008 I want a single request to be loaded. So it gets loaded into the PSA and then into the Infocube through a (Delta) DTP.
3. Now, I have created an InfoPackage (Full Update) with year as 2009 in the selection. Tht is I want tht hencforth the data load should be for the year 2009.
4. Hence, the Infopackage will run to bring the 2009 data into PSA and I run the (Delta) DTP to update the same in the Cube.
5. Now, what i require is everyday the InfoPackage (Full Update) with 2009 should run and bring data into PSA. and the same should be updated in the InfoCube after deleting the 2009 request already present keeping 2008 request loaded previously intact.
I hope the above is nt confusing.
Please let me know if i can elaborate the same.

All 8 ODS loads are failing in Process chains

Hi Experts,
Today in Production ,all 8Z<ODS> ( eg. 8ZSD_O51, 8ZSDC_53,8ZCOPABC02.......) giving same error in Extraction .
It is "Error occured in data selection" in Extraction tab in details tab in RSMO.
We are correcting these loads by deleting this red requests from data target and running the Infopackage manually for repeat of last delta.when we run infopackage manually it doesn't fail.but it give above error while loading in Process Chain.
So in our Batch we have around 30-40 loads of this type( 8Z load).So to run each info package manually it is time consuming process??
So pls give suggestions to correct this error.....
How can we fix this problem........
the error is coming only after some support pack installed in BW two day before.

are you In DEV or Prod? If in prod, did you have this behavior in your DEV sys as well after applying your SP?!?
try replicating your "myBW" datasources and reactivating your transfer structures;
Try first with one of it; test and see if this works; then run RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL to activate all your transfer structures.

Delta Failed in Process Chain

Hi BW Experts,
Our MM process Chain (Transaction Data)is running daily at 11:55PM in the night time.
But today it is still running. I know this process chain will be failed . If we do not solve the issue today, delta package will not run tomorrow. Is it correct?

This error normally occurs whenever BW encounters error and is not able to classify them. There could be multiple reasons for the same
Whenever we are loading the Master Data for the first time, it creates SIDs. If system is unable to create SIDs for the records in the Data packet, we can get this error message.
If the Indexes of the cube are not deleted, then it may happen that the system may give the caller 70 error.
Whenever we are trying to load the Transactional data which has master data as one of the Characteristics and the value does not exist in Master Data table we get this error. System can have difficultly in creating SIDs for the Master Data and also load the transactional data.
If ODS activation is taking place and at the same time there is another ODS activation running parallel then in that case it may happen that the system may classify the error as caller 70. As there were no processes free for that ODS Activation.
It also occurs whenever there is a Read/Write occurring in the Active Data Table of ODS. For example if activation is happening for an ODS and at the same time the data loading is also taking place to the same ODS, then system may classify the error as caller 70.
It is a system error which can be seen under the Status tab in the Job Over View.
Pls assaign the points if possible.

Create Index fail in process chain

Hi Friends,
I have a process chain in production system which loads inventory data everyday at 6:00Am.
2 days back R3 production system failed and the data is not loaded into BI. It was stopped at Delete Index step. I have started again by selecting Repeat then it worked and the infopackage is also executed successfully.
After that it is failed at Create index step and giving message " Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE". Till then it is giving same problem everyday.
Could you guys help me how to solve this and execute the chain successfully.

Try to create index for the cube manually i.e got info cube , Right Click -> manage->performance-> perform check index - if red do repair index, if it will not help then create index. After that run it though process chain

Info Package failing in Process chain

Hi,
One delta load InfoPackage fail every time in process chain with error message "Last Delta upload not yet completed".
Actually this infopackage load data in cube but in procuress chain log, it turn red and in the display message window, under tab "Chain" the request id is not the one which loaded data but different one.
This issue is delaying the upgrade and URGENT in nature.

Hi Anil
You are trying to complete a delta load while the previous one is not finished. Please check the monitor for the previous load. You can use the manage tab to set a load to completed, or you can delete the load.
If its hung (yellow) or in red goto the QM status in monitor and mark the QM status red. Then goto the data target and delete red request.
Go back to the delta infopackage and schedule the job again. this time it'll prompt you for a repeat delta. Click OK and the delta load will start again. This'll bring the data for the old failed delta as well as any changes or new records as well.

Rollup process failing in process chain

Hi All,
Daily the rollup processin in our process chain failing due to the fallowing error
"ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into
("SAPBIW"."/BIC/E100093"."KEY_100093U") "
But once we repeat the rollup process in the process chain it is getting successfull.
Can you suggest solution for this error.

Hi Suneel,
As correctly mentioned by other to check logs and PSA data, you shour also check notes available on this error.
Probabaly some data in a field is causing this error, so need to analyize the values which are coming.
There are few notes on this:
ORA-1406 error/ ORA-1400 Cannot insert NULL

Flat file data loading error using process chain

Hi SAP Experts,
I am having a problem loading the flat file data to the cube using process chain. The issue is that when i run the process chain it fails giving the message " Date format error, please enter the date in the format _.yyyy" . I am using " 0calmonth in the datasource" . Strange is that when i manually execute the infopackage, i dont get any errors and am able to load the same file successfully to the dso and the cube. Is there any special setting for the process chain that i am missing?
The date format in the flat file is mm/yyyy. I have tried all the options i could including recreating the datasource and invain dont see any success so far. please help me solving this problem as we r in the middle of testing cycle.

Hi Sanjeev,
I believe you are opening the .csv file again after saving it. In this case the initial 0 in single digit month (say 02/2010) is getting changed to 2/2010 and the resulting file is not readable to the system. Just do not open the file after you have entered data in the .csv file and saved and closed it. If required, open the file in notepad, but not in excel in case you want to re-check the data.

DTP failed in process chain...

HI Zakir,
Dont check the option Handle duplicate records.If iam correcti thik you are trying to load the master data again by deleting the data.When you tried to delete the data the complete data may not have deleted.
First Alternative:-
Iknow you may not have authorisation for se14 if is is there please delete all the P ,q and M tables in SE14.Then try to load the DTP
Second:-
If you open the monitor of the failed DTP and go into the details tab and drill the erro and when you right click on of the step on one of the failed step there you will set keydate/timestamp select that and then delete the request activate the DTP again and try to load.
Third:-
Its better to delete the DTP and Create it once agian.

Event data change process failed in process chain

Hi All,
We have a process chain to broadcast the workbooks where we have three event data change processes in succession.
When this process chain is executed, the first event data change process is getting executed successfully, but the second process is getting failed every time. The error message is 'Session terminated.Cannot precalculate the workbook...'. Please let me know if anyone has faced the same kind of problem and also the remedy for it.

Initialization of delta loads possible with process chain?

hello all,
followed situation:
i load data from file and sap extractor to ods 1. from this ods i have an automatic delta load to another ods 2, where the data are filtered and aggregated.
its possible that some of the data change their state from filtered out to in but are not in ods 2 because of the earlier criterias they had have. now i want a weekly load (initial load) from ods 1 to ods 2 and a daily delta load if new data arrived ods 1 to the no 2.
i tried to create a process chain for that but i cant! i cannot use the info package for the initialization of the load from ods 1 to 2 because it is generated info package. and if i use the process "update ods object data" there is always tried to make a delta load! at first step i delete all data of ods 2, so i need an initialization with data as next step.
how can i do what i want?

ok, i understand but i dont know how...
The only way i know to create an InfoPackage between ODS is to use "Update ODS Data in Data Target" of the context menu of an ODS. Then i chose between full/delta/init load and the infopackage will be generated. How else can i create it?

ABAP program fails in process chain -'ABAP/4 processor: DBIF_NTAB_SQL_ER

Hi Experts,
I have an ABAP program in process chain. It frequently fails in the chain .
When i do repeat on it will run fine.
Purpose of the program is to delete the content from open hub table.
I can 'ABAP/4 processor: DBIF_NTAB_SQL_ERROR' .
What could be the reason . How can i give permenant fix to it.
