BP for Portal for e-Recruitment 6 EHP 5
Hi,
I am installing e-Recruitment 6 EHP 5.
For Portal 7.0 , I found that the I need to deploy 2 Business Packages as below:
1. BP for Recruiter (ERP 6.0 EHP05) : BP ERP RECRUITER 1.51
2. BP for Recruiting Administrator (ERP 6.0 EHP0) : BP ERP RECRUITING ADMIN 1.51
I want to know :
1. Is Portal 7.0 compatible with the above BPs.How to check?
2. Do I need to download any other BPs also for Portal 7.0 for e-Recruitmen 6 EHP 5.
Thanks a lot,

Business package BP ERP05 COMMON PARTS 1.51 is required in every case.
BP ERP05 MSS 1.51 is only required if you want to include the manager / decision maker in your eRecruiting process.
BP ERP05 ESS 1.41 is useless for eRecruiting. It contains the ESS shipment of eRec 300 and is far out of date as it still links the BSP UI which is practically no longer in use. If you want the internal candidate to use portal the correct business package is "BP for Employee Self-Service Web Dynpro ABAP" 1.50 or create the role, etc. on your own.
A good overview of the portal business packages and their mapping to ERP enhancement packages can bei found under Predefined Portal Content Integration

Technical requirements for E-recruitment tool implementations
Hello,
We are using 4.7 version.
We bought ECC 6.0 just a test server without portal facility for practice. Now we require the portal access. Can anybody says that how we can get that from SAP, Our main purpose is to use E-recrutiment in Portal since we already have ECC 6.0. Now we would like to buy EP tool also, however we need to give complete technical requirements for E-recruitment tool implementations for approval.
your information is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Nydia.Hi,
For SAP Netweaver Products which includes Enterprise Portal, Business Intelligence and Process Integration you have to buy seperate license.
If you plan to use only E-Recruit then in ECC 6.0 you can install Enterprise Portal as Add-on Component, Generally Portal takes more system resources. If you plan to use only E-Recruit then performance will be fine.
Hope it helps

Business Package for E-Recruitment
Dear Friends,
Can any one of you please do let us know what is the standard business package for E-Recruitment?
We are using ECC6.0 without any enhancement packages. We are having a addon for E-Recruitment. Name of the addon is SAPK-60014INERECRUIT. We are using EP 7.0.
Do we need to deploy the business package in EP like we do for ESS/MSS or else is it only in R/3?
Kindly do help us.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
SananthananDear Sananthanan,

What are the BP and BF need for E- Recruitment configuration?
Dear All,
We are going to implement E-Recruitment.
System is ECC6, EHP6 and portal 7.3
Client is Indian
We are going to deploy below Business Packages in portal.
BP Recruiter
BP Recruiter Administrator
We are going to activate below Business Functions in ECC.
HCM_ERC_CI_1
HCM_ERC_CI_2
HCM_ERC_CI_3
HCM_ERC_CI_4
Are there any other to deploy BP and activate BF?
Please guide me on this.
Regards
AnokuHi Anoku,
Please check the prerequisites for the business functions. You can find the documentation regarding the business functions in transaction SFW5.
For example: Starting from HCM_ERC_CI_2, you will need to activate HCM_ERC_SES_1 as a prereq.
Keep in mind: You only need to activate the business functions which bring you the functionality you need.

Access to Contractors for E-Recruiting in an integrated system
Hi,
How to get the access to a contractor for E-Recruiting as Recruiter without having IT0105 (userid) in an integrated system. They will not have pernr (not hired into the ECC system)
Thanks.
Edited by: Uday C on Jul 31, 2009 7:34 PMHi Uday,
E-Recruitment means they need to access portal. Am I right? Without having user ID in It0105, how system will allow to log on?
We had same problem. So to accomodate this scenario, we created separate PA and hire them in SAP system as External employee via action Hiring External action. Then assigned user ID in IT0105. We had separate E-Rec rule and assigned to them but not back end access.
Whay don't you follow same procedure?

Look for e-recruiting install guide
I cannot find the install guide for e-recruiting at SMP.
I see that ehp3 for ERP has e-recruiting.
Is ehp3 the only way to have e-recruiting?
Thanks!Hi,
>
> 1) In order to bring in e--recruiting , can I apply ehp3 directly without applying any e-recruiting add-on (i.e. baseline) first?
>
Depends on which system you want to install E-Recruiting, If it is an ECC system then by default when you will install ECC system then it will come at certain package level and then you can upgrade it to EHP3.
If you install it on netweaver system then you can directly install it on EHP3 level.
> 2) You mentioned it's an add-on on ECC/NW. Does it also have some files (e.g. *.sca) to be deployed on EP?
>
Yes, you need to deploy certain packages on Portal as well depend upon for which functionality you want to use E-Recruiting application.

EREC - Activation EHP4 for E-recruiting - replication BP data external cand
Hi,
We have activated EHP4 for E-recruiting and thus we have changed from BSP to WebDynpro for the recruiters. When we do a search on candidates, we receive a list, but the data is not filled in the result screen. Only the internal candidates are shown. When I change a BP for an external candidate, the data is shown in the result list. When we click on a candidate the data overview is shown with all the data, but in the result list the name or email is not shown. Is there a report available to fill the fields for the external candidates?
Kind regards,
Ruth
Edited by: ruth cloots on Aug 30, 2011 11:26 AMHi,
the candidates are in the e-recruiting system, have the good role, but the name and email is only visible in the list after having changed the BP data in the backend system. It's rare. The result list gives fe. 5 records, but you cannot see the name of the candidate in the result screen. When you open the record, and you ask for the data preview, all data is shown. It's only in the result list that the data is not shown. But, after you have changed somethin in the bp-data in the backend, then the data is shown in the result list. Therefor, I'm looking for a report which 'reloads' the data to be shown in the result list.
Kind regards,

Error indexing TREX (index AES_DOC) for E-Recruiting.
Hello,
I have a big trouble with my TREX for E-Recruiting.
I ´don´t be able to index the BusObjetc AES_DOC, so Recruiters can´t check candidate´s CVs.
ERC_CAND, ERC_CDCY, ERC_REQ, EXT_POST, INT_POER works ok, but I can´t index AES_DOC...
My TREX version is 7.00.44.00.
Somebody could guide me please...?
Thanks a lot,
EstherHi,
Thank you both for the answers.
The client has decided to raise the trex version to 7.10.43.00 and recruiters can now view CVs.
Although we still have a problem with the indexes, please I need your help.
This is my situation:
We have activated the following indexes:
AES_DOC
AES_DOC
ERC_CAND
ERC_CAND
ERC_CDCY
ERC_CDCY
ERC_REQ
EXT_POST
INT_POER
We have the job running with those periodical services activated:
CREATE_SP_FOR_CANDIDACY
CREATE_SP_FOR_CANDIDATE
CREATE_SP_FOR_EXT_POSTINGS
CREATE_SP_FOR_INT_POSTINGS
CREATE_SP_FOR_REQUISITION
DELETE_DEREGISTERED_CANDIDATES
DELETE_REQUISITION
DELETE_TMP_PL_ATTACHMENTS
DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_CAND
DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_CDCY
DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_DOC
DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_PUB_EXT
DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_PUB_INT
DISPATCH_CPOINTER_FOR_REQ
INDEX_DOCUMENTS
PROCESS_CAND_STATUS_CHANGE
But when the job runs only those indexes works:
ERC_CAND
ERC_CAND
ERC_CDCY
ERC_CDCY
ERC_REQ
The others nothing...
If I use manually the option index inmedinateky I can index the last two:
EXT_POST
INT_POER
Using the manual option immediately the AES indexes don´t work...:
X AES_DOC 00000001 00:00:00 00:00:00 0 - Initial
X AES_DOC 00000100 00:00:00 00:00:00 0 - Initial
Could somebody guide me please?.
Thanks,
Esther -

Hello all,
We are trying to implement MSS for e-recruiting and we are running e-recruiting on a separate box from our ECC system. I am not very clear with the configuration, I understand that I have to make the settings in both systems but I want to know the activity of the setting and know in which system.
Thanks a lot

Possible (and secure) architectures for E-Recruitment Web Enabled???
Hello,
i need informations about posible (and secure) architecture solutions for E-Recruitment Web Enabled.
I found one basic exsample in the E-Recruiting system architecture guide, but it is a exsample from 2003.
do someone use E-Recruiting web enabled and in what for a topology?
regards
chrisHellow Christian,
Successful e-recruiting relies on strong long-term relationships with both current and potential employees u2013 and on the ability to locate appropriate positions for talented individuals from within and outside the organization. The SAP E-Recruiting application offers innovative support for talent relationship management, as well as traditional central recruiting functions.
SAP E-Recruiting, a fully Web-enabled, end-to-end recruiting solution, accelerates and streamlines the recruiting process with a comprehensive strategy that that enables your company to build up and draw from a qualified, global pool of internal and external talent. Recruiters can take advantage of this talent pool to quickly find the staff they need, while collaborating closely with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
Applicant tracking and reporting functions help organize the processing of job applications and monitor the effectiveness of the recruiting organization. A collaboration platform links SAP E-Recruiting to external systems such as job boards, recruiting service providers, and your company's internal systems.

How to create an infotype for E-Recruitment
Please tell me how to create an ER(E-Recruitment) Infotype. This infotype will be mapped to BSP application.
hello arvind,
if you really create a new infotype for e-recruiting you use the standard tools like for hr master data / pd infotypes. These tools create screens but they are useless. The reason is that the tools are build for SAP HCM and noone really cares about e-recruiting so there is no option like "it's for e-recruiting do not create screens". If you do not want to have any maintenance issue you can just delete the screens you will never miss them.
If you look for a BSP version of the screen generation I have to tell you that such thing is not existing you will have to build all screens on your own.
Whenever I can I try to use the CI Includes of the E-recruiting Infotypes to store additional data or if you need additional candidate fields which are existing in the business partner (e.g. nationality) but are not maped i widen the bp data mapping.
If all these things are not possible you can add your own infotype which has some pros (e.g. getting the infotype framework for free) and cons (e.g. datatype/length restriction for fields) or you make your own database table where you have all freedom you like. If you need to enlarge the data model for Candidate / Candidacy information and do not plan to run statistics on this data using the Application Wizard Questionaire might be a solution, too.
Best Rgds.
