BP new field update is not possible

Hi Experts,
I work in CRM 4.0 which is connected to R/3. I have created a new BP field with EEWB. I would like to replicate this field into a standard R/3 field.
Without any enhancement the new field is replicated in "Insert" mode but in "Update" the replication does not work.
I discovered two problems in R/3. The exchange structure does not contain the new field and the BP does not exist in R/3 BUT000 after creation.
In "Update" mode the system searches for BP in R/3 BUT000.
Finally I extended the exchange structure in R/3 and if I create a new BP it will be created in R/3 even in R/3 BUT000 and during "Update" the new field value will be updated.
My only problem is that I have 100.000 BP's in the systems which were created without the enhanced R/3 structure and the update of the new field content is not possible. The R/3 BUT000 does not contains these 100.000 BP's.
Do you have any idea how to solve this issue?

I would have liked to reply you back earlier on, but I was able to see my points only today.
1 How to manipulate Bapi to load it. Please select your Bapi which refer to the proper object in trx CODE Bapi. Then talk to your developper to create the right program to load the missing data, supposedly able to manage files (better a txt file).
Next monday if you wish I may send you documentation concerning Bapi, if you give me your e-mail
2. How to upload to your backend the changes of Bps. There is an envent you need to associate to your object Bupa in administration CONSOLE - DATA EXCHANGE. It is explained in the Best practise manual called Replication.

Then, if this doesn't work, check if the function module in charge of uploading the changes is working, by putting a Breakpoint in the FM associate to your object Bupa in Business object in administration console.

Issue in Workflow- Field Update is not happening

Hi Friends,
I am facing an issue to update a check box field Released.
I have created a task having Advance with Dialog opiton,Background processing to update the Checkbox field.
The BOR Object type used is BUS1006 and method is CHANGE. Everything looks fine when tested the task as well as the workflow in test mode and it is working fine in both the cases. But some how, this field update is not happening over the CRM 2007 Web UI. We are assuming it is due to user authorizations or some other settings ( like assignment of backend user to the workflow)
for doing this task. Can some one give us some pointers on this. This will be of great help.

First and foremost, you should update to 3.6.17 because the version you're running at the moment is insecure and exposes your system to attack. Update via '''Help '''| '''Check For Updates'''.
That may even fix the problem since several minor bugs were also fixed in later versions.
Similarly, after updating, go to the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page and update those which are necessary.
If the problem persists, try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
I didn't experience a problem myself accessing any of those sites you mentioned. See screenshot.

I got error message when i change update mode (LBWE) from V3 to Direct or Queued delta method.

Long text: You are not allowed to change the update mode for application 11 from V3 to another method. This is because there are still V3 update entries for update module MCEX_UPDATE_11 that have not been processed yet.

i did check in all the below Tcode as you adviced.
1. Clear all record at SM13, LBWQ / SMQ1, Setup tables, RSA7 for particular datsasource or application..
2. For LBWQ provide date range and delete not required records.
I did not get the 3rd point " Need to clear in CLINTS of R/3 system" of your reply.
what does that mean?
I checked all the above tcodes and got the same message as no queue or data exists".
I went SBIW tcode and activated my data source and try to change the Update mode but still it is throwing error message as "Change of update is not possible due to open V3"
Please help me out.
It will be very helpful for me if you could share steps or docs regarding this issue.

in module pool screen.....
How can i make one input field as "input not possible" for one perticuler condition met??
ex: iam having one input field in my screen.... so i can enter the values for it.... similer ly iam also having another one... here if i enter value in the second one and push the pushbotton to do some caluclation part.
then my first input field has to appear but in no input possible mode...

I had the same problem. I created an iCloud account and backed up my iPad to iCloud. I then went to www.iCloud.com, signed-in and then I was able to download my spread sheet data. At least I have my data.

INSTEAD OF TRIGGER (UPDATE): new.field null or not set

When using an instead of trigger for an update on a view, you can "relate" the updates to the (another) base table(s).
to perform the update statement you have the use the ":new.field" notation.
Is there a way to determine if the field value is included in the update statement that causes the trigger to be fired?
I know you can check this value and see if it's null but this is not the same as "not used in the set clauses". It can be explicitly set to null : SET field = NULL
which can be used like SET FIELD = :new.field
but what if it is not "used" in the update statement at all.?

New fields update with CRM_ORDER_SAVE BAdI - not working

I ask your help in connection updating custom generated fields in Opportunity. In the Webclient UI i added a new field to Opportunity - Total Expected Value, and a Currency for it automatically generated.
The enhancement ID is YEXT00001 and the field name is YYFLD000002 and YYFLD000003 for the currency. I do not added these fields for the opportunity details view, I only want to use them to extend the search criteria for opportunities.
Now the fields are available in the search criteria, and I implemented the BADI CRM_ORDER_SAVE and in it I update these new fields with the value of the original fields of Total Expected Value, but unfortunately my BADI is not updating the field.

Hi,
Put the code in method PREPARE or CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE. CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN iwill throw an exceptionNO_CHANGE_ALLOWED when used in metho CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE.

SAP Smart Forms: Drag & Drop of fields into editor not possible

Hi Guys,
In the SAP Form Builder I can't move elements out of the field list into my editor by using drag & drop. Or I'm doing something wrong, no idea.
It seems like to drag them is possible, but it's not possible to drop them. I can edit them manually, but that's a little circular.
I know that's not a big problem, but I think the solution is very complex (I hope so).

New iPod Updater will not download in iTunes 7.0

When I plug in my iPod it asks me if I want to Download and Install the new iPod Updater for iTunes 7.0, but when I click yes it tells me that I am not connected to the internet when I clearly am. Everything else works fine including the iTunes Store so I don't know why it wont update the updater. If someone could help with this it would be great, it's been driving me crazy!

Updating operands: Not possible to maintain before a certain date

When I try to insert an operand value in ES31, I got the following returned message "Not possible to maintain before XX.XX.XXXX", where XX.XX.XXXX is the End Billing Period of the last bill. In my understanding, SAP does not allow updating an operand before the last bill, right? I need to maintain an operand value. Is there a way to insert an operand value before the last bill?

The problem is that we can not reverse the bill, because the customer had paid already.
We have a case where the orginal bill was incorrect, so we did the manual bill to either return the money or charge the customer more,
and then we need to insert operand value to maintain the past consumption.

The new itunes update will not install properly and now itunes wont work at all

k, so I tried installing the new update for itunes and now it wont work at all. it says that the mobile device isnt installed. i have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 4 times now.

My issue is it wont even reinstall onto my computer
Yes I'm aware of that. The procedures are also for trying in cases where iTunes can't be reinstalled due to a "Could not start Apple Mobile Device service" message.
If you're getting a different error message relating to the Apple Mobile Device Service (or Apple Mobile Device Support) when you try to reinstall iTunes, post back to let us know what that error message says. (Precise text, please.)

AT NEW field in OO not working

      LOOP AT er_data_changed->mt_good_cells INTO w_good.
        v_fldname = w_good-fieldname.
        AT NEW row_id.
Sample record of er_data_changed->mt_good_cells is as follows:

Please let me know what am i supposed to do to make controll level processing possible in OO.

I think u need wait some time to get that field reflect in Query Designer.
Try log off and re-login to query designer couple of times.
Also try activating multiprovider directly or using program RSDG_MPRO_ACTIVATE
