BP_sales org

Dear friends,
I have successfully downloaded BPs from R/3 to CRM.
After downloading BPs from R/3 to CRM, i wants to create relationships for a particular BP in CRM.
The navigation is:
1. Open your BP
2.click on "Relationships" in application toolbar.
3. In the new screen, select the option Has contact person" in the field of "Relationship cat".
4. Enter any one of your BP number in the field of "Relationship to BP"
5. Now click on "Create" icon.
6. In the new screen, select tab"Usage".
7. One new screen appears displaying, Sales organisation, distribution channel, division. In those fields i can not enter my Sales org, distribution channel, divisions (Whatever came from R/3).
But if i run Transaction code PPOMA_CRM, i can possible to assign Sales org, distribution channel and division (All R/3 datas)in CRM enterprise.
why those R/3 datas are not populating in BP relationships?
Please guide me to solve this issue.

That means your sales org data transfer from r/3 hasn't happened correctly. Once you can maintain data for those sales org for BP, you will be able to maintain relationships for those sales area.
Check steps to transfer R/3 sales org data to CRM & see if you missed anything.
Check if BPs are created in CRM for those R/3 sales orgs.

Kaushal

  • Creating Custom fields which are sales org dependent in Accounts Master

    Hello Experts,
I want to create new custom fields in Accounts Master for sales and shipping. The component being used is BP_SALES.However when I try to create custom fields through AET, the new fields are added in the BUILHEADER context node. The problem with this is, its making the fields Sales Org independent.
I want to add the fields which are sales org dependent( i.e. want to add the fields for the context nodes BUILSHIPPINGTERMS and BUILSALESARRANGEMENT).
Please help me in this regards,
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rahim

    Hi Rahim,
in general extension fields for Business Partner are only supported for the header fields (Table BUT000). Therefore the AET does not offer this.
Table extension for BP sales data is supported by the AET beginning from CRM 7.0 eHP1. If you have this you can just create a 1:1 table enhancements and should be happy. If not I'm afraid that you would have to implement this manually.
Using the Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEW) it would only be possible to create table extensions for the header and for relation ship but not for sales data.

  • Enhancement a button in 'BP_SALES' component and raise a message

    Hi all
I have enhanced a button in the 'BP_SALES' component. A add-on logic will check sales area data when click the button. If fail, a warning message will be raise by CL_CRM_GENIL_GLOBAL_MESS_CONT~ADD_MESSAGE.The message is raised successful, but the field in the view become disable, I can fill nothing in the view.
How can I raise a message, but I also can edit the view ?
    Any lead is really appreciated
    Leo

    Hi Krish,
    1. Do you have the backend R/3 system. If yes it appears that no sales org has been maintained in the R/3 system
    Check in R/3:
    Tcode: SPRO
Enterprise Structure->Definition->Sales and Distribution->Define, copy, delete, check sales organization.
    2. DNL_CUST_S_AREA is used to get only the distribution channel and division.
        Tcode: R3AS
Put the adapter object and press enter and execute.
The disribution channel and division can be seen in
        Customer Relationship Management-->Master Data->Organizational
        Management
         A. Division Settings->Define Divisions
         B. Organizational Data for Sales Scenario-->Define Distribution Channels
    If helpful, Do reward points.

  • Not able to view data in Aria People search Org Chart

    Hi,
    I have uploaded my data into aria_tmp_people, aria_people_a & aria_people_b.
While doing the search from Aria poeple, the uploaded data is not displaying in org chart.
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Aneesh

    Hi Aneesh,
First be more clear about Aria Application. As Aria, is been related to an hrms part of an organization carrying the people infomation and it has some separate features too.
But in your prespective i couldnt able to understand what do you want to do with that packeged application.
Since you want to customize the aria application according to your organization needs means, First collect all your necessary organization information that is needed(like tables etc.). Then substitute those (i.e) your organization tables in the appropriate places in the form of query.
Please dont use the same Aria people table, as the Oracle may framed according to their employee information. Nearly Aria application has 200 supporting objects. If you want to use the same objects means whether u r going to creating nearly 200 supporting objects..It is not worth at all.
Please be more clear in your requirement that, what you are doing, and then raise the question. Be more prepared with your tables along with datas, and let give your reply once you were been prepared with your organization details table.
As there are more peoples in the forums to help you other than me.

  • Org unit date in adhoc query

    Hi
I have created a TEM query in SQ02, based on infoset \SAPQUERY\HR_TEM_E (logical database PCH),  in which I am outputting object name and date (P1000), and org unit (P8004).
The output on the org unit name corresponds to the most current version of the org unit, but my requirement is for it to match to the date that the course object exists, i.e. historical.
Would anyone know a way to code this field, or whether there is a functional solution to this?
    Please do let me know.

  • Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch

    Dear experts,
I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.
    Regards
    HKishan

    Dear Luke,
I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.
    Regards

  • Standard Costing Re org- Mid month

    Experts ,
We rolled annual cost and 10 days after we realized our annual cost roll is wrong which has wrong OH and LAB cost.
Now we have already thousands of production orders and most of them settled and variance calculated
what is the impact if I re org and roll the cost again?
what is the impact to COGS account
What if I wait 2 days and roll the cost in next period?
    Please suggest some best practices
    Thanks
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad
If the variance is settled for the production orders, you can't do anything
For production orders which are yet to be settled, the new cost WL be taken into consideration to calculate target costs during variance calculations
If any GR from production is posted after you reverse the std cost and before releasing new cost, variances won't be calculated. So ensure that before the cost is re-released no GR is posted
Also ensure no billing doc is released if you have copa active, before the std cost is released again
Also in copa costing key, choose period indicator as 4

  • Adding new data elements to Org Modeler.

We are trying to add 4 fields to the org Modeler. However it is nowhere to be found like in the orgchart.
    Org Modeler 3.0 SP2
PA0001, PA0008, HRP1005 and HRP1008. (also linking to the texts in T001P, so we will require a table inner join)

    Hi Wade,
In order to get the fields in OrgModeler scenarios you need to make sure that your hierarchy data element in the Source OrgChart contains all fields that you want. For this I recommend creating a NakisaRFC function for the additional data, creating a data element for it and then creating a linked data element to link together the new data element and the existing hierarchy data element. There is no data center in OrgModeler so you will need to do this manually.
    Best regards,
    Luke

  • SOLUTION: Implementing Operating Unit Org Security Without EBS Integration

    Hi all,
Thank you for taking the time to review this post.
    Environment
Oracle BI Applications 7.9.6 (Financial & Project Analytics)
    Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10
    Question
I have implemented BI Applications and am using LDAP Authentication (OID/MSAD) to authenticate the BI Apps users. This is authenticating successfully. I also require to implement GROUP authorisation and OU_ORG security, however as I am not implementing the documented EBS integration (as per Metalink Note ID 555254.1) I am looking at a custom solution.
To achieve this I have created a custom database table in the BAW that contains the USER, GROUP and OU_ORG information. Then I have created separate Initialization Blocks for the GROUP and OU_ORG security that are being triggered after the LDAP Authentication. These SQL queries are based on returning data to a row-wise initialization Variable. I am aligning the GROUP values to the OOTB Presentation Groups and am able to get that Initialization Block to work as anticipated - the User only has the privileges to see Dashboard and Application links as I have configured in the Web Catalog.
However, they can see all data across all orgs. The OU_ORG security is returning the correct org_ids into the row-wise variable, but I appear to be missing how OBIEE utilises this for data security.
If you are able to assist with a possible solution, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, if it relates to a change at the Dashboard, Answers or RPD level, if you were able to include where specifically in these components that would also be very beneficial.
    Many thanks,
    Gary.

Here is another approach with ‘external database authentication’ where the EBS database provides the user information.
    1. Create a table with the mapping of the EBS responsibilities and OBI Apps Groups
Ex: Create a new table “xx_resp_group_mapping” which contains the mapping between the EBS responsibility and OBI Apps groups.
Essentially, a one-time mapping of the BI apps groups needs to be done with the EBS groups so that the corresponding default access of these BI Apps groups can be passed on to the custom groups
    2. Modify the authentication initialization block to validate the user against EBS
    3. Modify the authorization initialization block to fetch the respective OBI Apps groups using the EBS user and the mapping table created in point 1
    4. Enable the standard OU based security initialization block.
    5. Add all the OBI Apps groups under the Operating Unity Security Group
    6. Modify the permissions in the Operating Unity Security Group to put a filter on the Sales Org OU. Other filters on fact tables are not modified.
    7. By default OBI Apps applies data level filters on fact tables. If dimension tables need explicit data level security it would need customization.
    8. Any users who are not in EBS but need exclusive access only to BI Apps data can be granted exclusive access by adding those users directly in the OBI repository. They would directly be validated against the OBI server.
However, this approach is not suitable if the number of users are high in numbers.

  • Two sales org in One company code

    Hi all,
I know u can assign two or more sales org to one company code.
But if i have one common customer i.e one Customer No for both the Sales org's  how do I differentiate which open items belong to which sales org when running my open item report in FI. The Sales org data is not transfered to the FI Posting. Is a user Exit and diff numer ranges in SD the only possibility? is there no sap Standard for this.
    Thanks
    dave

    HI,
Are Business areas/Division of this customer same?
Reference number and allocation numbers are transferred to accounting documents. In customizing for copy control in billing, you can define which numbers will be copied as reference or allocation numbers.
Like - Sales order number, delivery number and Billing documents etc...
From sales order number you can know sales organization.
The reference number is in the header of the accounting document and is used for clearing.
The allocation number is in the customer line item and is used for sorting line numbers.

  • Inventory Module Upgrade from 11i to R12 - How to Copy Inventory Orgs.

    Hi All,
We are working on R12 Upgrade project for Item Conversion.
Requirement is to upgrade and bring all the Item setup and data from 11i to R12.
As part of setup requirement, there are around 1900 Inventory Orgs in 11i instance. Please let me know what is the best approach / strategy to copy and bring over the 1900 Inventory Orgs.including the Master Org from 11i to R12.
Your inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance !
    Regards,
    Nityanand.

Reporting Set of Books (MRC) in 11i is called as Alternate Currency Ledgers (ALC Ledger) in R12.
After 11i upgrade, the reporting SOBs (MRCs) will be automatically changed to ALCs in R12.
Some are primary and some are used as reportingI hope you are talking about MRCs.
When we upgrade from 11i to r12, all the SOBs would be created as primary ledgers (as per oracle)If they are not MRCs and it is getting upgraded as primay ledger, you may create new ALC for your requirement.
In that case you may need a datafix from Oracle to fix the old data.

  • FBL5N Cleared items not having the Sales org

    Hi Guys,
In FBL5n open items having the Sales org (XREF1), when we are clearing the Documents, Sales org (XREF1) not coming to the cleared items.
Is any user exit or BADI to populate the value to Cleared items also?
    Thanks
    Gourisankar.

    Hi
Cleared and open items should be the same, i.e open item are cleared item before clearing it.
So I suppose u mean the items of clearing document?
If it's so u should check your FI customizing because it should be a clearing rule, so perhaps it shlould be better to ask it to your FI consultant
