BPA 90 days evaluation

Hi,
I've just downloaded the "Oracle Business Process Analysis Suite 10g (10.1.3.4)", Oracle_BPA_Suite_10.1.3.4_download.zip, and I expanded it in a temp dir. The README.TXT explains that s valid for a trial period of 90 days only. OK, right. Then I launched the setup in the "Business Process Architect Evaluation" directory, it ended successfully, but when I start the new application through the start menu, Oracle Business Process Architect Suite asks me for a license key. I can't provide it.
Where did I go wrong?!?!?

There is curerntly a SR open to have Oracle document how to clear out the license key, but there is a solution.
Originally we had our users install a local version for training. After we set up a server respository and entered the licensed users, they were still receiving the demo key license prompt. We now have users access the application via the web and the JAVA applet technique. We had them uninstall BPA from their desk top. The users also had to delete all directories created by BPA. If the webclient access is used, there is also an entry in the user's documents and settings (under the Application data folder), which appears to be where the license key is stored. Once that was deleted and the the computer restarted (not just the browser) there were no more issues with the demo license key.

For this I have downloaded the BusinessObjects Integration Kit for SAP - 90 day Evaluation version and I try to install it on my laptop. Unfortunately during the installation of the Integration Kit I receive a message u201CThe product key code is not valid or has expiredu201D. The Product key code and the Integration Kit itself I have taken from this page:

yes you can.
Skip Product Key Input in Windows 8.1 Setup
To achieve our objective, we need to edit the ei.cfg (edition configuration) file present inside the
/sources folder of the ISO image. All we need to do is to provide the version details inside this file so that Windows Setup is not needed to ask for a product key to install the appropriate version relevant to that product key.
If you are going to install Windows 8.1 using a USB drive, transfer the installation files to the USB and then proceed to step 2. On the other hand if you need to create a DVD, open the ISO using a utility such as MagicISO so that the structure is not affected.
Browse to the /sources folder.
Look for the ei.cfg file and open it in a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++ (preferred). If the file doesn’t already exist, create a new text document and rename it as ei.cfg
Now amend the file depending on the version which is included in your particular copy and the version which you want to install. For Professional edition which will be the best bet for most of the users, paste the following context into the
ei.cfg file. Make sure that anything that already exists in the file should be cleared first.

Save the file and run the Windows 8.1 setup again. The setup will not ask for the Product Key anymore.
This is not a hack or anything illegal. The configuration above is supported by Windows installer and is well documented by Microsoft and can also be used on some other versions of Windows as well.

B1DIEventService: Only 90 days evaluation license available

Hi everybody.
I am using B1DIEventService and want to get a full license to use it in customer addons. Now I have no idea how to get a full license; the downloaded version is a 90 days evaluation license.
Additional question to this topic: Do I need a license for each server and each client?
Can anybody help me?

Hi Ralph,
B1DIEventService is given for free without time limitation. You can deliver it together with your addons, there is no problem.
The 90 days license is only the general license term given by SDN for all published tools.
Please don't forget there is no support or responsibility from SAP for the tools published in SDN.

30 day Evaluation - does it exist?

I recently asked my SAP Business One partner about the 30 day Evaluation version of SAP Business One. But they say that SAP does not offer this.
Has anyone been able to get the 30 day Evaluation somehow? If so please relate. Thanks much.

Before you jump to any conclusion ,let me give you why your SAP partner might have said things like that .That doesn't mean you need to change partner .
- Usually SAP partner usually down load the SAP Business One which is free for 30 days .
-He /She will initialise company and import your data .. or set up
He or she will apply license when you are ready for live date - so customer don't have to pay for license for at least thirty days . I think Maintenance contract starts when you apply license .
But if he is saying ,he cannot provide you an environment to play around for no reason ,
then you might have to think . Usually it depends upon client's project manager and Partner project manager to take a project in what direction. Sometimes user gets frustation playing with system when they are not trained or .something which might your partner trying to avoid .
<B> The best thing is to communicate to your partners that why they are not willing to provide you a demo environment earlier than project go live </B>

the IMAQ for also 45 days eval (extended). But unable to activate it in evaluation mode. Can
you send temp code for activation???
My management wants to buy the software if I can demonstrate soon that it works.

There is unfortunately an issue with automatically extending your 7-day evaluation license to 45 days through the Vision software itself. This was reported to R&D (CAR # 381293) for further investigation. Group by day - evaluation date formula question

Hello,
I am currently working on a report for on-call coverage. I am having difficulty grouping by date and I'm hoping someone can help me. Here is my situation.
The on-call database has a coverage start date and coverage end date.
Person A has a coverage start date of 9/1/2009 and a coverage end date of 10/5/2009.
Person B has a coverage start date of 9/15/2009 and a coverage end date of 10/10/2009.
The report I am trying to create needs to be grouped by the calendar day of coverage. What I mean is, I need to be able to evaluate the coverage for a particular day.
If I run the report for the evaluation date of 9/10/2009, it would show Person A, their coverage start date and coverage end date.
If I run the report for the evaluation date of 9/20/2009, it would show Person A and Person B, with their respective coverage start and end dates.
My question is, how do I create this evaluation date?
Since this is a report for on-call coverage, I will also need to run this evaluation date into the future to confirm that there aren't any gaps in coverage.
What I need to do is run this report for so the evaluation date would be for the next month. So if I ran the report today, it would show me the on call coverage for November 2009, grouped by day.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a calendar-type table, with one record per date. Then, base your report on something like (MS SQL):
select calendar.date, on-call.name
from calendar, on-call
where calendar.date between '{?lowDate}' and '{?highDate}'
and calendar.date between on-call.start_date and on-call.end_date
The first condition of the Where clause selects all of the dates that you want to report. The second selects each person on-call for each of the dates from the calendar.
You could also code a loop in the SQL Command, but calendar tables are really quite handy. (For example, to indicate what dates are company holidays, where no on needs to be on call...) I'd suggest setting one up if you don't have one available.

Why is my Creative Cloud suddenly a 30 day evaluation?

Today when using Photoshop I was asked to use it as a evaluation and that there are just 30 days left until I need to buy it. The same goes for Illustrator. I pay Creative Cloud every month so this is a very erronious message.

D. Re-install the Adobe Application Manager from here: http://www.adobe.com/applicationmanagerpatch/index.html. Then launch the application again.
Hope it works for you. There seems to be another issue in my case.

How to login to Personal Oracle 8i (30 day Evaluation copy)

I downloaded Personal Oracle 8i from Oracle website. I already had Oracle 7 installed on my system. So during setup Universal Installer suggested to convert my data from older version to 8i, but it asked for Internal password. what is that? whenever I used SQLPLUS in oracle 7, my user name was SCOTT and password was TIGER but it says that the password is invalid.where can I find this password?
The second problem is after installing Oracle 8i successfully,when I try to login to SQLPLUS it asks for user ID and password. I tried to use the same ID i,e SCOTT and TIGER but it won't let me to login the database. What is the user name and password for this version. Please help and answer in detail. Thanks.....

I have not used the Personal Oracle8i 30-day Eval version, but after the installation, you typically have at least four sets of initial user ID's and passwords.
1. INTERNAL/oracle
2. SYS/change_on_install
3. SYSTEM/manager
4. SCOTT/tiger
They are not case-sensitive.
Try them out and good luck!

We are currently checking out Labview 8.5 on a thirty-day trial. However, our area of interest is FPGA. Is it possible to download a thirty-day trial version of FPGA 8.5 which we might evaluate together with our present LV8.5?

No such license with 30-day evaluation license

Hi,
after having installed an evaluation version of WL Integration 2.1 SP 1, starting
any of wlidomain, samples etc. end with error:
"com.bea.utils.misc.NoSuchProcessException: No such license: WebLogic Integration
2.1, WebLogic Application Integration"
Does anyone know how hwat's wrong or to fix this?

Unable to install Visio Professional 2013 (60-Day Evaluation)

Hi,
I am unable to install Visio 2013 trial period on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop.
After its downloaded by the download manager and I clicked on Launch, its asking to burn to a disc.
the extension of the file is showing as .img. Can anyone assist me to proceed from here please?

You can follow any of these steps:-
1. You can burn the IMAGE file onto a DVD/CD. Using IMGBurn Free burner.
2. The fastest way is to extract the content by using any of the several applications available and RUN the installer file. For extraction you can use ExtractNow which is a free application.

Report Generation Toolkit Evaluation doesn't work

I tried to insert data into an Excel file but it seems the Report Generation Toolkit Evaluation doesn't work.
Attached file my VI.
LV is saying i have to activate the product in order to run it. An error occurs on each Report Generation subVI, which involve i never could test my application.
I went on Help/Activate Labview component and the evalution is well activate.
Someone has an idea why the evaluation version doesn't run Report Generation Toolkit ? A solution asap please...
PS : I still have 15 days evaluation left.

SCCM 2012 - Trying Evaluation version

Hello all,
I'm trying out the 180 day evaluation version of SCCM 2012 R2 downloaded from Microsoft as part of a small POC, (VHD format) which is pre-configured and installed with all the pre-requisites.
As part of this exercise, I wanted to perform a simple discovery of devices in SCCM 2012 but after enabling all the "discovery methods" I do not see any devices in the collection after running the discovery. The VHD format is configured with a
'contoso' domain and this feature is 'locked' as a result I'm not able to configure this 'vhd' format to our internal domain to help discovery.
My question: is there a way to by-pass this domain and perform discovery or is this a limitation in the evaluation version of SCCM? or am I missing something?
Any help on this is appreciated.

I don't believe so. You should just download the bits from the VLC and install it for yourself. You could have a small test environment in no time at all. Collocate your PS and SQL server, add a DP, and you should be close to lab testing.
Make sure you are not running discovery across your whole environment if this is just a lab.
