BPC 7.5 NW SP10 on BW 7.3

Hi.
Has anyone succeded in installing BPC 7.5 NW SP10 on BW 7.3. It should be supported. At least it says so on SMP.
We are facing some troubles. We did install an all new BW system to be used for BPC. The component CPMBPC 753 was installed as this should be the version for BW 7.3.
When looking at the system status in BW the component CPMBPC says version 753 and level is 00.
We were installing SP10 of the .NET server components, but it seems that there is some version mismatch here. We are able to connect to BPC through BPC Admin and get access to all application sets. There are however some things which cannot be done - like deleting dimension members.
It seems to me that version 753 is not SP10, when I look into BW and UJBR the new features of SP10 in UJBR is not there. Is anyone aware which 750 service pack level matches 753 on level 00?
By the way we were not able to install the support packages for 750, as it is not the same version.

Just a follow up on this.
I didn't find an answer so I raised the question in an OSS with SAP.
They came up with the answer that
CPMBPC 753 SP 00 is equivalent to CPMBPC 750 SP09
and CPMBPC 753 SP01 is equivalent to CPMBPC 750 SP10.
However it seems to me that SP01 for 753 is not yet available.

BPC 7.5 NW SP10 - Admin dump error

Hello all.
I am having a problem with SAP BPC 7.5 NW.
I had a system with SAP BPC 7.5 NW SP05, and we decided to upgrade to SP10.
We upgraded the ABAP component and the .NET component. After that, we unistalled the clients and we downloaded the clients SP10 component from the Marketplace.
Now, we have two problems.
- Firstable, if we install the client with the component downloaded from the Marketplace, we can use the Office client, but when we try to use the Admin client, the system shows a Dump error message:
" Server was unable to process request. --> OSoftResSvrAdm.Handle Creat ActiveX Error at Admin Server
- If we try to download the clients from the Software Client Center, the system shows a message saying that our BPC client and the BPC server are not the same version. But we don't have the client already installed.
Did anyone have the same problem?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Please import SAP Note [1507226|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1507226] titled "FileService should support running DM package simultaneously" which is contained in BPC 7.0 NW SP10 and BPC 7.5 NW SP05.

Primary key in Dimension

Dear Colleague,
We have SAP BPC 7.5 NW, SP10.
In any dimension primary key is ID. So dimension members can't repeated with same ID.
Our requrement is set our property RNN unique. We mean our dimension members can't repeated with same RNN.
Is it possible in SAP BPC 7.5 NW. If no, could we solved it in BW side?

*LOOKUP AND *WHEN

Dear Sap Expert,
We are on SAP BPC NW 7.5 SP10.
We have faced with the following problem.
In ownership application we have several company with Method=25(Leaving Method.) 25 is transaction data.
So in our Script Logic we need to make list of C_ENTITY members which have Method =25 (Leaving Method) in Ownership.
If you look to script that i attached, you can see that
1. We set list of all Entity using *SELECT COMMAND.
2. Then for all this company we retrieve data from Ownership using *LOOKUP and *FOR.
3, The last step is to make list Entity members which in *LOOKUP equal to 25. For solve this we use *WHEN and *XDIM_ADDMEMBERSET command also we use variable %LOOP_CUR% to set C_ENTITY. But this last step didn't work. When we look to XDIM_MEMBERSET C_ENTITY we see that all company was written on C_ENTITY, but we need to write just that company which have in LOOKUP 25.
If you need any additional information about this issue, please feel free to ask it.

As far as i know , WHEN can only be used for masterdata filtering ,not for transaction data filtering in NW . Transaction data can be compared with boolean expression in REC statement.
Is Method value changes frequently? If not, method can be maintained as property and entities list with method=25 can be retrieved with SELECT statement .
If the purpose of transaction data comparison is to do another calculation,it can be achieved with REC statement.Sample code is below.

Did you check the settings in SE06 ?
/CPMB and /B28/ should be set to 'Modifiable' before you import the request to target system.

Stop in Dimension Processing

Dear BPC Experts:
I am using BPC 7.5 NW SP10, and just transport form Development to Production, When I am processing the dimensions in BPC admin, the processing stops in the waiting for the server response. Does anyone have any solution for this problem?

Hi Rohita,
There are two things.
1) Do not process the BDoc
2) Do not generate the BDoc.
1) To stop the processing of BDoc, DeRegister the CRM Q. go to transaction SMQR and de register the Q. it will stop the processing the BDoc.
2) Go to TCode SMW3_00. Define the BDoc type and select do not send BDoc.

YTD Value in Period-Input System Structure

Dear SAP Experts:
      I am using BPC 7.5 NW SP10 now, and now my application is set Periodc-input.
I would like to transport YTD Value in Net Income to BS account, for example:
Month Net Income(Periodic)
Jan       100
Feb       200
Desired result:
Month CY NI in BS(Periodic)
Jan       100
Feb       300
I tried to use script to take the YTD value in account net income 300 in Feb to transport into
the account CY NI in BS, but it doesn't work

Does this send the value of 1 to the BUDGET application?
I remember there was a problem in sending the data of 0. To rectify that problem, you might have to upgrade to BPC NW 7.5 SP08 Patch2 or BPC NW 7.5 SP10.

I am desperate with ICBooking... My configuration was working fine and unexpectedly ICBooking began writing only zero values. I have tried everything and result is exactly the same right booking accounts but zero values and Package successful result.

Upgrade BPC 5.1 SP3 to SP10

Hi,
I'll be upgrading one of clients' service pack from BPC 5.1 SP3 to SP10 in the next coming week. I'd like to know if there's any new functionalities that comes with SP10.
I'd also like to know what issues can I expect to come accross with the new patch.

Into SMP you can see all the information necessary about this build.
You will have everything which is new.
Because i tis a cumulative patch you actually have to read all the information for SP4,5..until 10.
You don't need to install all the patches but SP 10 will contains all the fixes from SP4 till 10.

We have upgraded our BPC 7.5 SP6 to SP10 recently and we are facking issues when validating DEFAULT.LGF in the system, here is the complete content of DEFAULT.LGF , can you help on this?
we have activated the business content using UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT and all dimensions are having MBR_SEQ attribute in the system.

I do see we have maintained TERM_PER and START_PER in the property list of employee dimension with length 10 and 20 resp.

Auto update - upgrade from BPC 7.0 MS SP9 to SP10.

I have upgraded from BPC 7.0 MS SP9 to SP10.
I would like to execute auto update programm. I have the message ' update is OK' but the system does nothing
NB : I closed all Office programms And internet Explorer before running this update programm.
Do anyone else experience the same issue?

Do have Vista or Windows 7 on your computer? If yes, then UAC may interfere. You may need to disable UAC or update client manually. To obtain client software installers please download them from your server as instructed here:

SP10 should be just fine with Windows 2003 and XP. They did not remove support for those operating systems, they just added support for Vista, Windows 7, and Server 2008.
