BPC Error: Cannot fine dimension member sheet file

Hi experts,
I'm getting below error when I try to process the dimension.
"Cannot fine dimension member sheet file; use the export dimension feature to restore it from the member file".
Can anybody help me to resolve the error.

Hi Hari,
When you select your dimension, there will be an option "export dimension". Click on that.

7.5 MS New AppSet is Missing Member Sheet Files

Currently on the 7.5 MS version.
We recently created a new AppSet via copy of the AppShell. I'm able to reach the applications (Planning & Rate), however the dimensions are empty. In the Admin console, attempting to maintain dimension members on any of the dimensions brings back the message "Cannot find dimension member sheet file; use the export dimension feature to restore it from the member table". I've clicked on the dimension and selected Export Dimension. It says it processed successfully. But I still get the "Cannot find dimension member sheet" message, so it didn't solve the problem. Out of curiousity, I tried processing a dimension. That seems to work fine, up until the point where it creates the admin cache file. Error message there says "The network name cannot be found".
In addition to the above, when attempting to find any reports or templates in the applications, we receive the message "The folder does not exist." when clicking on the Company directory.
I'm sensing these problems are all related. Have we missed a step in the copy process? Any suggestions or guidance to get us pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

are the dimension files xls still present but empty or they are missing?
Did you receive some erro during the copy? Have you checked the tbllogs to see if there are errors releted with the copy of the appset?
Run first server and client diagnostics to see if there are problems. Check the server tables, like tblServerDefaults, in the appserver to see if this aren't updated.
Modify application with application process and index checked of the APShell, full process of the dims and see if there aren't issues then delete the copied appset and retry the copy with another name.

Not sure where it is documented, but you can not calculate what you are fixing on. To me it seems a bit odd, but I believe the logic is, if it is sparese and you are fixing on it, how can you fix on what might not be there? If it is sparse, fix on all the other sparse dimensions thenFix (....) CYG_BILAN ( CYG_BILAN = ....; )EndFiX;Also, if it sparse, make sure the block exists (either datacopy data into it or set 'CREATE BLOCK ON EQUATION' on - I tend to copy data into it).If it is dense, you wouldn't want to fix on it anyway.Rich SullivanBeacon Analytics

Dimension Member Sheet Timeouts?

Hi - We have a client running BPC 10 MS, Service Pack 11. They are on SQL Server 2008.
They're noticing timeout issues with their dimension member sheets. Anytime an admin goes in to update a dimension member sheet, after five minutes, it times out where even after they close out of the member sheet or even log off and back into BPC, they cannot access the sheet anymore - because the system tells them that another user (they, themselves) is still logged in and has the sheet open. This person is the only one with admin rights so noone else is even touching the membersheets.
Eventually, the issue seems to go away. After an undetermined amount of time, the "lock" on the member sheet goes away. But it's a real nuisance.
Any idea if there's a timeout setting, either in BPC or in SQL server that can be adjusted? They've also been noticing this only for the last 2 - 3 weeks, so they're not sure if maybe a patch or service pack update on the SQL Server side or server side could be causing this.
Any ideas?

this error seems caused by the behaviour of excel with the add-in, when you open a dimension under it run excel on the server and this excel caused the issue, see please this note for the explanation and for a workaround 1751650 - Error message "The process cannot access the file %filename% because it is being used by another process"

After Effects Error "error cannot be imported this moov file is damaged or unsupported"

I'm working on a AE project and shut the project down before going to lunch. I come back and open it up and I get this error:
after effects error cannot be imported this moov file is damaged or unsupported
Nothing had changed in my project since earlier today. I've tried to import other .mov's and get the same error, I've also tried to relink the footage.
Any thoughts?

Runtime Error "Cannot find system in table file"

I need assistance!
I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 and have recently installed Version 4.5
I am trying to setup my synchronization. I have followed the steps to setup my calendar to Outlook 2007. It tells me Congratulations! You have successfully configured the product. However, when I press Finish, I get a Runtime Error "Cannot find system in table file"
I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it - the same error appears.
Any help would be appreciated!

FIGURED IT OUT!!!
The following steps, which are posted on the RIM Support will work; however, I had to do it a different way. In Step 1, it states that the ilxolkCompanion.fil is located in C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector path...however, when I searched for this file, it was actually located in C:\Program Files\Blackberry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector. (This could be because I upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.5 w/o completing a clean uninstall...not too sure why)
Once I located the file through the command prompt, I unregistered as per the instructions in Step 1. I then followed step 2 exactly word for word...and VOILA!!! I now have Version 4.5 working with MS Outlook 2007
ResolutionIf the Connectors folder is still present in C\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector, follow these steps:
Unregister the old Microsoft Outlook connector ilxolkCompanion.fil.
Open the command prompt.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
Type in the command regsvr32 -u ilxolkCompanion.fil.
In Desktop Manager, Microsoft Outlook will no longer be listed as an available desktop application.
Register the most current Microsoft Outlook connector.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
Type in the command regsvr32 msoutlookconnector.fil.
In Desktop Manager, Microsoft Outlook will now be registered as an available desktop application.
Once these steps have been completed, configure synchronization again.

SSTemplate.xlt Error during 'Maintain Dimension Member' in BPC Admin

Hi,
While trying to 'maintain dimension member' in BPC administrator (BPC 7.0 Netweaver version) for a dimension,I get error message that 'C:\...Temp\SSTemplate.xlt' file could not be found.
Due to this I am unable to maintain members for any dimension.
If anyone has faced this issue and resolved it,could you please me out?

I think that the dimension file which you mean is lose from the directory(the directory which you installed the SAP BPC). If you've backup the Appset before, please you find the dimensian file (.xlt) which is lose in the backup directory. After that, you copy paste into the exactly directory (the directory which you installed the SAP BPC). Then, You should process dimension and process application again.

Error selecting a dimension member in BPC EPM report - The given key was not present in the dictionary

We are currently running SAP BPC 10.1 NW on Hana
Version:
CPMBPC 810 SP 4
SAP_BW 740 SP 9
HANABPC 810 SP 4
EPM Excel Add-in 10 SP 21 .NET 4 build 9094.
On my embedded model. I have a BEX query on a aggregation level which I access in a report using the EPM Add-in Excel .
When I edit my report in EPM Add-in Excel , and I try to select the dimension members for a selected dimension member, I get the following error.
"The given key was not present in the dictionary"
Any assistance to help resolve the problem will be appreciated.

I had a look at MBR_SEQ , it is a attribute on the dimension member in BW , this relates to a past version of BPC 7.5. We are currently on BPC 10.1 Embedded model , and the MBR_SEQ does not exist on any of the characteristics I have in my info cube.
When I create a web report I am able to access the dimension members using the select dimensions options, the problem seems to be on the EPM Add-in Excel client only.

I have installed ECC 6.0 on DB2 /AIX and now trying to apply Kernel Patch 75 but after Uncar of SAR files and moving the same to EXE (/sapmnt/PRD/exe) I am nota ble to copy few files, Follwoing error is coming.

Hi All,
When a shared library with read-other permission is loaded, it remains loaded (and available) even if no processes are currently using it. This allows faster execution, but may result in a message like "Cannot open or remove a file containing a running program" on installs or rebuilds of application libraries.
Refer to the man page for subroutine dlopen and command slibclean.

How to migrate dimension member text files from ODI to Hyperion Planning

We are having an issue with ODI that it was not connecting to planning.
Later with some instructions from oracle, we have tried to set some RMI path in websphere and we tested the RMI connectivity test.
It was successfully connecting to planning.
Then we want to test that ODI is connecting to planning or not.
For this I think if anyone can send the doc relating to dimension member upload thru ODI to hyperion planning using text files, it will be helpful.

Go through His(John's) earlier blogs which very clearly explains how to get connected & keep the ball rolling.
If you're so scared to use the existing connections, you may want to-
i) Set up new Master & work repository;
ii) Do few quick configurations from Topology Manager;
iii) Create your project, models, Interface;

After Effects CC 2014 Error "error cannot be imported this moov file is damaged or unsupported"

Well, outside of the RAM preview issues that are stopping me from using AE CC 2014, I decided to at least use it to render a AE CC project already composed in CC.
I shut the CC project opened it in CC 2014 (same computer, same drive) and got the moov file error message. It would not recognize any Quicktime PNG movies, etc.
But the old CC does recognize them. Back to CC!

I have sync toy set up to sync my Skydrive with some folders on my local drive.
I'm running windows 8.1, 64 bit
I can copy files from my local drive to the Skydrve folder with no problems,
but if I add files to my Skydrive, and then when Sync Toy runs it will not copy the files from Skydrive to the local drive and throws up the error in the title.
I have tried changing permissions on both folder pairs with no luck.
Any ideas?

Time Machine Error cannot write to sparse bundle -- file in use.

We're having trouble with a Time Machine backup. Twice in the last three days, the backups failed with the error message that the backup disk image is already in use. I noticed that the partition containing the backup sparse bundle is mounted twice in /Volumes -- /Volumes/X and /Volumes/X-1. The error message refers to /Volumes/X-2.
The icon that appears on the desktop has not cleared as if it's still doing a backup.
Looking at the sparsebundle directly gives me the "verificationstate" as 1 -- I recall reading that this is supposed to 0. Other values:
verificationdate == 2012-06-05, and VerificationExtendedSkip == false.
Note that the backup drive is attached to another Mac still running Leopard. This is run fine for years over a gigabit network.
Any ideas?

OK, we fixed this for now with the simple, but common Mac way of
throwing something in the trash.
In this case it seems to be a temporary network connection to the remote Time Machine partition. When Time Machine balks, the icon for the temporary mount gets stuck on the Desktop. We threw it in the trash (unmounting it) and then Time Machine can resume.
Apple networking is annoying, but then on the other, it's easy. We lose printing in a similar way.
Anyway, although we seem to be OK, I'd like to understand this a bit better. I can see in the "/Volumes" folder (in Terminal) three Time Machine mounts, not one as I would have expected, and they all appear to point to the same place:

On the remote machine, the disc TM appears only once.
If you look at the listing of all three, they are identical. What gives?
Is this a consequence of the fact that we are putting the time machine backups on a remote machine (that is not a Mac OS server). We have to mount the remote disc before Time Machine will run, but from that point it works perfectly -- or as perfectly as any mac networking thing seems to work.

BB Bold 9650 - DM Runtime Error "Cannot Find System in Table File"

I am new to these forums and have read as much as I understand without seeing a fix. I recently traded in my BB World Edition (loved it) for the Bold 9650. I uninstalled the old DM I was using and installed DM 6.0 - couldn't sync. Unistalled that and installed v5 - couldn't sync. Did a clean uninstall of all of it, restarted my computer and phone, reinstalled v5 - then got the runtime error.
I am more than frustrated and about ready to call Verizon to return the phone and go back to the World Edition. I have to sync my calendar and contacts for my job - can this be done wirelessly??? I don't have to have DM if I can sync somehow..... HELP!!!!!!!
