BPC10 Win2012 R2 Web Splash Sceen Hang

Hi All,
We have recently installated BPC 10 SP 14 on a Windows 2012 R2 server. SAP BPC Administration and Excel work OK. However when accessing the Web front end via "http://<servername>/sap/bpc/web" the Business Objects SAP splash screen appears with the blue bar appears (see screenshot) and then the website stops loading and hangs.
I've tried a few different versions of IE on different PC's - all exhibit the same behavior.
Finally, I installed fiddler and noticed several 500 errors from the /POA/SBC folder.
Changing the BPC IIS App Pool pipeline to classic allows me to get further, but no matter what I do, the client says you are not authorized to access any Environments.
All our other installations run using integrated so, its clear something is awry.
A final note, is that Windows 2012 R2 comes with .NET 4.5 & 3.5, 4.0 is not available (although in IIS it states 4.0, i have read that .net 4.5 appears at 4.0 and 3.5 appears as 2.0).
Any advice?

Go to Control Panel > Mail > E-mail Accounts... > highlight your Exchange account and click "Change" > More settings... > connection Tab > Untick the option "Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP" > OK. Researt Outlook to check
whether the error message still appear.
As the KB915599 discription, This problem occurs when the server or another network device unexpectedly closes an existing Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection. This problem may occur when a
time-out value on the server or on the network device is set too low. To resolve this problem, see resolutions A, D, E, F, and O in
KB915599.
The problem can also occur if the server resets the connection unexpectedly, such as if an unhandled exception crashes the server process. Analyze the server logs to see if this may be the issue.

Gigabyte GTX 650Ti - HP motherboard splash screen hangs

I got my computer back in 2011, since then I've had nothing but trouble with it. Constant issues after issues
This has got to the point where i need some help.
My computer:
HP Pavilion HPE h8-1070uk (look it up on google and you'll see my computer whole)
I7 2600K 3.4 GHz
16GB RAM (was upgraded from 8gb)
Graphics card (temporary for this to be posted) GT545 that came with the computer whole
I changed the ram to 16gb and the graphics card only, the rest is stock.
I put the new card in, christmas present for myself really. Needed an upgrade. When i install it i hear beeping from my motherboard, well more the power supply. I spoke to some people and they said it passed POST.
After it reboots my computer loads the typical HP blue splash screen where you can press ESC, F12 so on, It just hangs there indefinetely. If i can get past that screen by pressing ESC i get a black screen with some information about my computer,

and down the bottom right there is and this changes depending on what button i pressed at the splash screen. If i chose Startup Settings it would say "Startup Settings" down the corner. Nothing else loads. After a while of trying different keyboard combinations my cpu makes clicking noises each time i press a key. Then i have to Ctrl, alt, del to reboot and try again.
I tried the same thing with my temporary card (gt545) and the same thing happens, but... when i get to the black screen the text is there and a command box pops up with the settings i want to change, so on. The card seemed to not allow the access to the bios and other commands.
Odd...
So, i used my old card to download drivers, because the cd drivers are always out of date. Nothing changed.
The card is firmly placed into the PCI slot, the 6 piece connector is plugged in, fans are running and the HDMI out to my monitor works fine. My vga doesnt work, but the hdmi does.
Still does the same thing.
Please help me.

Hi,
The h8-1070uk has on board video support so remove the video card(s) and try booting up using the on board video support. Your monitor will need to have a DVI connector.
The video card may be DOA and/or the power supply may be faulty.

Must Press Spacebar or HP Splash Screen Hangs There Indefinitely

Weirdest thing ever... A little background first. I had a VERY hard time getting this computer to do a recovery to factory settings. After about 11 attempts switching between disc set ordered from HP and the recovery discs I made from the computer it FINALLY finished. (All other attempts I got a message that said recovery failed and then had the option of three choices...something like "View Log" "Save Log' and "Retry") What I did that FINALLY let the recovery finish all the way was to press the spacebar on keyboard every time the HP splash screen came up. Then, the little white circles under the hp logo would start moving and it would go on to the next part of the software/driver installation. Now, however, every time I restart the computer I HAVE to press the spacebar once or it just hangs on the hp splash screen. I have done ALL windows updates and all driver updates via HP website. The only additional software I have installed is Mozilla Firefox. I have reset BIOS to factory defaults - Secure Boot back on since I had to disable it to install with discs. Little things like time & date are correct. I've run diagnostic on all hardware and it passes.PLEASE HELP!!!! I have never encountered anything like this before and I am at a loss as to how to fix it!!!!!!!!!! Thank-you for taking the time to respond!!!

HI , Thank you for your query. I grasp that you must press the spacebar whenever the HP splash screen appears to continue. You have done all the Windows and HP updates but the difficulty remains. You have also reset the bios back to factory. What is the current version of your bios? Have you ran the Windows troubleshooter? If you start in Safe Mode does the difficulty remain? HP PCs - Windows 8 Safe Mode Would you please try this step.Go to the command prompt and run as administratorType sfc /scannow and press enter This will scan for corrupted files and try to repair them.Once this completes please restart your notebook and run one more time. If the issue remains please try to determine the offending program uisng system configuration.Using System Configuration (msconfig)Please note the section on services. I suggest you use the 50/50 method to narrow down the results.Hide all microsoft services.Disable 1/2 of the servies and try starting your notebook to see if the difficulty remains.If it does go back and enable the first 50% and disable the other 50% ( remember to hide Microsoft services) and restart.Continue in this manner to determine if a particular service is causing the issue. Web Browser Session Hangs When Opening More Than One Query

Let me start off with the BW environment - we are on BW release 3.50 at support pack level 12. Basis component is release 6.40 at level 12.
We have a situation where a web browser HTTP session "hangs" while trying to execute more than one query at a time. A role based menu template is used by our end-users to run queries. The end-users execute a query and while it is running, try to execute a second query. But the web browser for the second query does not become available until the first query is complete.
The following is the detailed steps of the process:
1. From my user menu in BW, expand the folder for Role Z: BW_REPORTING and click on SAP_BW_TEMPLATE Web_Role_Menu. Web browser window will open.
2. Within the ZTPL_Role_Menu_Reporting web page, select Role Z: FUNC_DEVELOPER > BW Reporting > Controlling > Profitability Analysis > Detail query. (Role Z: FUNC_TESTER can be used in this example as well, just follow the same menu path). Click on Detail and another web browser window will open for the query selection screen.
3. On the selection screen for the CO-PA Detail query, enter values and execute the query.
4. While the CO-PA Detail query is executing, go back to the first opened web browser for ZTPL_Role_Menu_Reporting and go to Role Z: FUNC_DEVELOPER > BW Reporting > Controlling > Profitability Analysis > Operating Concern query. Run the CO-PA Operating Concern query while the CO-PA Detail query is still executing. The session for the Operating Concern hangs and does not display the selection screen until the CO-PA Detail query has completed. Once the Detail query has finished, then the second query, CO-PA Operating Concern will then display the selection screen for the query.
Our end-users expect the second query to display the selection screen immediately with no delay. The end-users do not want to wait for the selection screen of the second query. They want to be able to execute the queries simultaneously.
Our Basis group as tried adjusting some parameters and has implemented OSS note 853396, but the issue still exists.
Is it a BW issue or is it an issue with MS Internet Explorer?

I had a somewhat similar issue earlier when I tried closing BW Query windows, it would freeze and wouldn't close. I resolved the issue by turning off some BHO (Browser help Objects) in IE.It can be done using IE>Tools>Manage Add-Ons

Web Admin Console Hanging

I am trying to open the web admin console but the browser session just hangs - occasionally the session will get to the login screen, but after entering user/password, the session just hangs.
Any ideas please ?

The problem persists when accessing directly on the server.
To recap
The OS is Win2008 64-bit.
Software installed in the program file (x86) folder.
The Apache Tomcat homepage is also inaccessible.
After approximately 20 minutes the Apache Tomcat homepage will render.
This suggests the installation is correct, just very slow.

IC Web - manager dashboard hangs using HTTPS for CRM_UI_FRAME

Experts,
I am on an ISU-CCS project in realization using IC web front end. Here are our versions:
CRM2007
ECC 6.0 EHP3
We have the IC web client talking to back-end and most everything is looking good.
I turned on HTTPS/SSL using all the usual notes....and it seems to work well, we can even SSO over to back-end to execute webgui transactions via IC Web.
My problem is when I use a certain business profile and test:
Monitoring Operations --> Manager Dashboard
As long as I have HTTPS turned on for the CRM_UI_FRAME, if I access above mentioned portion of IC Web, it just sits there and creates a hundred different HTTP logins for my ID. It blinks quick at the bottom and I see it try to execute the bsp: CRM_IC_MDB.
Funny how it tries to continue to use HTTP even through I am switching to HTTPS everywhere.
If I go back to HTTP, (turn off switch to HTTPS), the the manager dashboard works OK.
Normally, I would think problem with HTTPS/SSL setup, but all other portions of IC WEB work great using HTTPS/SSL.
I check ICM log and nothing unless I bump trace to level2. Then too much stuff. But I do see this:

We figured out the issue. There is a transaction launcher setting specific to MDB that has a https flag.

Opening any web page causes hangs and multiple unresponsive scripts

Any time I open up firefox, it hangs on nearly every webpage. After several minutes, an unresponsive script error will appear. Stopping the script does nothing the vast majority of the time. Most often, one to ten more unresponsive script errors will appear. I have already tried resetting firefox and running firefox in safe mode, neither of which helped the problem.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

WRT320N Can't get IP Address - only using 1 wired port - no internet access - web setup pages hang

Just bought Linksys WRT320N to replace Netgear MR814.
Can't get connected to internet using Linksys WRT320N.
Setup:
ISP: Cox Communications (Cable)
Firmware: v1.0.03 build 010 Jul 24, 2009
1 wired - port 1- to Windows XP SP 3 Dell Desktop
Setup Attempts:
1. Tried to setup using install CD. Kept erroring out with Error 302: Internal Error. tried this 3 times
2. Went through the reset, power down, power up procedures.
3. Ping 192.168.1.1 = success
4. Connected to 192.168.1.1 via web browser
5. Set MAC Address = computer's MAC address
6. Set MTU = Auto (1500). Also tried Manual 1492
Was unable to get IP address using IP Address Release and IP Address Renew. Internet IP Address still = 0.0.0.0
Note that the web page will always get stuck after perfoming a couple of actions (like after switching between tabs). Message in bottom of browser is "Wating for http://192.168.1.1/Status_Router.asp". And on the screen the hourglass symbol never goes away.
Note that the old Netgear router still works fine and I am currently connected to the internet using the Netgear router. I'd appreciate any help getting the new Linksys router functioning/connecting to the internet/obtaining and IP address.

I don't know where I was unclear: you wrote before that you have used the mac address clone function on the WRT to clone the MAC address of the PC. This way the WRT "pretends" to be the PC if you connect the WRT internet port to your modem.
However, the PC is not the device which you used before to connect to the internet. The PC was not the device which was connected before to the modem. If you connect the PC directly to your modem it won't get an IP address either. It won't have internet.
The problem is that your ISP only allows you to have a single active internet connection at any given time. If you simply connect a different device with a different MAC address to your modem this other device won't get an IP address. As you have connected the Netgear router to your modem and you have internet then you have to clone the MAC address of your Netgear router. That's the device which is connected to your internet and that's the MAC address for which your ISP has locked your internet connection.
Thus, one more time: clone the MAC address of the netgear router (the internet or WAN port MAC address) on your Linksys router. Then the Linksys pretends to be the Netgear router and your ISP should accept the Linksys router. The netgear router should have a status page in it's web interface which shows you the correct MAC address to be cloned.

SAP Web As Java Hangs after few days using it

Hi everybody,
I have some applications on an Enterprise Portal running in a Java Web As 6.40. Recently, the following problem has appeared: After a day or two of normal use, the portal starts to reject all the connections that are established to it (specifically, the internet explorer gives a time out error), although in Microsoft Management Console shows all processes in green. The problem solves restarting the instance, but the portal remains functional only few days.
Any hints on solving this?

From your case, i believe that there has to be some problem with either application threads or heap memory, which are being freed up after restart.
Kindly let me know the Min Count and Max Count of Application threads, also the heap memory and your physical Memory(RAM).

Web services wizard hangs

Hi,
I am trying to create a stub/skeleton for an external wsdl file. I click the next button and the tool just hangs. Eventually it comes back with "cannot locate wsdl file".
I have tried with proxy turned on and off but I get the same result.
However I can open up the wsdl file in IE. I then save the wsdl file locally and use the wizard again to access the locally saved wsdl file. I provide proxy information including userid and password and now everything works.
I am not sure as to what is wrong with webservices wizard not able to access external wsdl files.

I am using the fully qualified hostname to access the external wsdl file.
eg: http://www.xml-webservices.net/services/maths/calculator.asmx?WSDL
Our HTTP proxy requires us to provide a username and password. When I handle it in java code, everything works fine only if I use the SOAPHTTPConnection object and not the OracleSOAPHTTPConnection object.
You mention that the HTTP stack in JDeveloper 9i does not support username and password for HTTP proxy. Will this feature be offered in the future.
I use another webservice toolkit called Glue and in there everything works fine !

CS6 Design & Web Premium download hangs at 462mb

When trying to download from the licensing.adobe.com site there is no "Direct" download link for the Installer. When trying to use the "Download Manager" link it opens the popup window as usual, it then starts the download for the installer through Safari's default download as if it's direct but this continues fine till it hangs at 462mb.
I've rince and repeated this process a few times. The direct downloads for the Goodies Content files work fine.
I've also tried downloading the trial version which also hangs at 462mb. I've then tried downloading it through the Adobe Download Assistant which downloads fine until 10.13% of 4,558mb which I assume is 462mb.
I've tried it on the iMac (Snow Leopard) through Safari and a PC (Windows 7 64bit) in Firefox. They all hang at 462mb.

Anyone know how to call a Labview dialog without the splash sceen popping up?

Has anyone had success with the workarounds for the problems with the Labview splash screen and not being able to click on the Labview dialog? I've attached a simple sequence file to demonstrate the problem. If I use the "make modal" vi's, that seems to solve the mouse click problems, with the annoying side effect of the front panel popping up. I haven't found a solution for the splash screen yet. Hi Mark,
I've tried your examples and it looks like the only solution would be to junk the labview dialog functions (for the time being) and create your own dialog vi. If you make it connector compatible with the labview functions then you can easily replace it when NI have fix the problem.

CS5.5 Web Premium freezes/hangs

I've reinstalled CS5.5 Web Premium on my 2011 MacBook Pro, but I am unable to open up the programme. I am currently using OSX10.8.2.
I've recently changed my logic board and hard disk with Apple as there were some technical issues. I installed Web Premium and am unable to load any of the programmes. I've keyed in the serial number during the installation. What I get is the loading screen, and none of the programmes actually open up. I have to force quit the programme to close it.
I've called Adobe before, and they've asked me to uninstall and download a trial version of CS5.5 once more. I've done that, but the same issue still occurs, it still freezes when I open it. I have contacted Apple about this issue, but they told me that there is nothing wrong and that I can only seek help from Adobe.
Anyone with the same problem or knows how to resolve this?
