BPC75NW: DM package throws run time error

Hi,
Execution of a DM package throws a run time error.
A parallel run through UJKT tcode does not give any such error.
Following is the DM package error:
"Member () of dimension (ACCOUNT) is not a valid member"
What can be the possible causes of this error?
Regards,
Pankaj

Hi,
Do you have any script logic run by the DM package? If yes, please check if you are using %ACCOUNT_SET% in the script. In that case, you need to pass the account member from the DM package. In addition to this, make sure that the default logic is validated, even if its empty.
Hope this helps.

  • Throws Run time error at runtime.

    Hi freinds,
I've downloaded special jar file and placed in "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_11\jre\lib\ext".
I've used one of the IO class from this jar file in my Candies.java class.
When i going to compile it from command prompt it compiles dine but at run time while running following command ,
    D:\TP>javac Candies.java
    D:\TP>java Candies
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ncst/pgdst/IOException
When i compile and run this code with IDE 'JCreator' it works fine.
Why the same application throws run time error at command prompt?
How could i resolve this issue ?
    Note:I've also set classpath to "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_11\jre\lib\ext\." .
    Regards,
    Sachin Warang.

If i placed the jar file some where else how could
used it in my source file?To use a class in your source code, you just import its package and make sure the jar is on the classpath, nothing else is necessary.
I'm stick to command prompt as i want include the
input file(which contains big input) at run time
    using the command
    D:\TP>java Candies < input
Is it possible with any IDE to include such text file
at run time , if so how could i do this? All IDEs let their users specify parameters for programs they start from within the IDE. See doc of your IDE. (But people here don't recommend IDEs for beginners ;)
But why it compiles fine and giving me Error at run
time if it is not set in the classpath?Looks like it is because that class is not used directly in your code but your code calls another class that uses that missing class.
I've also change the classpath to
    "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_11\jre\lib\ext\pgdst.jar\." still the
problem exist , why is it so as i'm giving the actual
path now?You still don't specify the exact jar! E.g: C:\j2sdk1.4.2_11\jre\lib\ext\pgdst.jar\aa.jar
    Hope it helps...

    Hi  All,
I am working in sgment buillder  in CRM 6.0, I created TG and when i try to open it in GUI it throws run time error "CREATE_DATA_UNKNOWN _TYPE " . i understood this is ABAP runtnime error.
    Kindly give your valuable suggestions.
    Warm regards,
    Sathish Prabhu.R

    Hello,
Check The reason for the dump could be because of the custom badi implementation. check your badi implementation for  CRM_MKTTG_SEG_MEM_EX.
    It has  two methodds
    IF_EX_CRM_MKTTG_SEG_MEMBER_EX~GET_TG_MEMBER_STRUCTURE and
    IF_EX_CRM_MKTTG_SEG_MEMBER_EX~GET_TG_MEMBER_STRUCTURE_REL
For these methods, check whether you are passing the structures.
    Thanks

Here with I am pasting run time error details. Please see...If any one have any idea or clue or if you have faced this kind of error.
    Thanks is advance.
    Error Details.
    What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_UJK_CUSTOM_LOGIC===========CP" had to be
         terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
        administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
        (data segment 32774).
        This error may occur if
        - You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
          ASSIGN
        - You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
          internal table that was deleted
        - You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
          longer exists
        - You address a global function interface, although the
respective function module is not active - that is, is
not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
can be taken from this short dump.
    Regards, Trine

    Hi Trine,
the error is about some field you are trying to map using field-simbols, that is diferent in the other system.
Go to the code program in the st22, there you will see when the erros occurs e what field gives the error.

  • Run time error - DYNPRO_MSG_IN_HELP using F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST

I am using FM - F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST on a selection screenf field. After that I do some validation and throw an error message in the at selection screen event.
But this results in DYNPRO_MSG_IN_HELP error.
I need to have the error message. I cannot change it to Info or Success message. (Program doesn't give run time error if i change the message to S or I or W ). How do I get around this ? What is wrong with F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST .
Am I not calling it correctly ?

    Hi,
ther are 3 things you can change.
Parameter dynpprog shouldn't be sy-cprog or sy-repid. Please decalre a variable where you can pass the value of sy-cprog to and give it to that parameter.
Parameter dynpnr shouldn't be sy-dynnr. Please decalre a variable where you can pass the value of sy-dynnr to and give it to that parameter.
Parameter display is of type DDBOOL_D and can have value 'X' or SPACE (see fix values of domain DDBOOL!).

    Hi,
As mentioned in the note 939383 , either Import Support Package 08 for SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BI Patch08 or SAPKW70008) into your BI system or do correction instructions given in the note.
It is always better to import the latest patches avialble in service market to avoid this type of problems.
Also see tha note 1010672 amd check whether it is applicable to your problem.

  • Run time error in report for a particular month : "  TIME_OUT"

hi frends, we have developed a report for PM module in SAP. it is a monthy report. and user have to enter the month for which he wants to see the report. we are facing runtime error for a particular oct. and nov month of 2009 only , all other months are working fine. The error is :
The program "ZPMR_EQUP_PERFORMANCE_REPORT" has exceeded the maximum permitted
      runtime without
interruption and has therefore been terminated.
    what could be the reason.

    Hi  Achalmehra,
By seeing the run time error "TIME_OUT", I suspect this is due to Performance issue.
There is a chance that they had huge data dump into PM server from other servers and there is also chance that
They have many records available for these 2 months.
IN any case, please chk with Run time analysis (SE30) by executing your program...
If it displays the graph more than 30 % for Database then it is an issue with the Performance.
    Also chk with SQL trace.....
    Second case :
Check you had not used Nested Loops,  Select queries in Loop.
Make sure you use Binary search for  Read Statements....
Third : Chk with the runtime error at which place of the code it is throwing Time_out error at Source code extract.
To help you further, please paste your code here and also paste the Run time error that you receive with the select queries.

  • How to debug  a run time error encountered while executing ZFunction Module

    Hi all,

I am using BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI in my Zfunction Module to create a

It also works well and generates a sales order if I give all Variant Configurable materials as input.
But if I give both Variant Configurable material and a normal material it throws a run time error.

    Hey Amit...
Can I Create a Sales order for VC and Non VC items using BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI
Is it a limitation for BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI
I am trying to create a Sales Order using a Zprogram. I have used BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI. If I give the input as Normal material I am able to generate a sale order. If I give the input as VC material I am able to generate a sales order. But if I give both VC and Normal material as input, I get a run time error as follows.
Is it a limitation for BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI that we cannot create a sales order with both VC and Non-VC items or am I missing some data which I need to pass when I give both VC and Non VC items? I get this error only for my Zprogram. But if I try to create an order on screen manually I donu2019t get any error. This happens only if I create an order with my Zprogram.
Some one please help me u2026I am just stuggling to get this doneu2026
