    Its a bit generic error. So many things could be checked:
    1. In SWWL, delete the earlier running instances before running the new scenario.
    2. Reimport the IP in ID again. Save, activate and try running your scenario again.
    3. In tcode sxmb_adm_bpe - Automatic BPM Customizing, check for the error.
    4. Check if SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING appears green.

  • Error BPE_ADAPTER" SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL

    Hello,
    I have a problem in XI, now any RFC access it is running. We can not access to R/3 by BAPI or to send an idoc.
    We have all the BPM with CR 0.
    The error is after a generic BPM to collect the idocs. Then we send the data collected to a mapping out of the BPM and we obtain this error:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?><!-- Receiver Grouping --> <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand=""><SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category><SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</SAP:Code><SAP:P1/><SAP:P2/><SAP:P3/><SAP:P4/><SAP:AdditionalText/><SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace=""/><SAP:Stack>An internal error has occurred
    </SAP:Stack><SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry></SAP:Error>
    I tried to delete with swwl all the processes and to refresh the cache, but we still have the same issue.
    This morning we have restarted XI machine and the interfaces are not running. All are failing we we send an idoc to R/3 or do an RFC access to retrieve data by BAPI.
    Do you know what could be the solution to this issue?
    Regards,
    Xavier.

    Hi Viniytha/ All
    Chck whether your integration Process is active.. in IR. or reactivate it. Then In configuration delete the existing IP , again import and activate . See if it works. I had faced a similar issue. I reactivated the IP in repository( copied,deleted and made a new one) and this worked.
    I have done all above activities . But when I check SXI_CACHE
    It says Problem during cache refresh.
    Problem when updating object OutboundBinding-4F43C177727735A3BBE61EBB5C9DD85A. :Error occurred while creating profile for receiver agreement 4F43C177727735A3BBE61EBB5C9DD85A; channel A3C5F6D836BC3CB9925A8794E30AA758 not found on the Integration Server

    I do not why I am getting the above error and not able to see my bpm object in Integartion Process Node

  • "BPE_ADAPTER" SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL

    Hi Experts,
    I saw the previous blogs on the "BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL failures but i didn't get the solution.
    My Scenario is SOAP to RFC to FILE with Asyn/Sync Bridge using BPM(Aync Receive, Sync Send,Send ), while I am testing messages are failing with the below error.

    I activated the BPM, the return code is '0'.  but there is no business process workflow in SXMB_MONI_BPE and SXMB_MONI.
    This is the first time we are  developing the BPM interfaces for the project, what are the configuration has to be done, please help on this.
    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi Michal,
    The scenario in that blog is FILE to RFC to FILE, but my requirement is SOAP to RFC to FILE, and today i tried with simple BPM scenario,it is also failing with the same error.
    In trace i notice that its unable to fine the abstract interface i.e. its not entering the BPM.
    <Trace level="1" type="T">no interface found</Trace>
      <Trace level="1" type="T">--no sender or receiver interface definition found</Trace>
    Actually previously we are using the SOAP to RFC synchronous Scenario, but its not supporting the business with 1000 line items of soap request.soap URL connection is closing by the time the request from the R3 system. so now we are looking to send the response in asingle file to the user.
    can you plz help me with BPE Adapter configuration.

  • CcBPM - BPE_ADAPTER : SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL

    Hi gurus,
    I am facing below errorn in ccBPM
       <SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:Stack>An internal error has occurred</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    I checke din sxi_cache and it shows return code - 0 , what could be the reason!!!

    Try this :
    The BPE Adapter error may be also because of Inactive version of BPM runtime
    So as suggested check the SXI_CACHE again and make sure that Return value is 0.
    Also do this: Go to Transaction SWWL and delete all the errored entries which belongs to your integration scenario
    Then you can re-import the Integration Process into Directory so that it will be re-active.
    Solution:
    Step maintain prefix numbers allows you assign number ranges to your custom workflows on the ABAP side (BPMs)
    This is a post install step - pretty easy... You can ask your basis person, or do it yourself --> click on the execute icon and enter a number range e.g. 99* will work.
    As for your BPM - first step is check if the BPM was succesfully replicated to the ABAP side. SXI_CACHE, select the BPM and ensure RC is '0'.
    If all this works, then thats a good start.
    After that, check your queues, check SWI1 and check SWPR - for the possible errors with that BPM...
    Of course check RWB for the initial message that should have kickstarted this scenario and look at the status.
    check this links who has same error,their problem got rectified:

    Hi guys!
    This is the 2nd time I get into the troubles with BPM on PI. On XI 3.0 I had never problems. But on PI when I use BPM I get following error:

    SAP:Stack tag means in english: An internal error has occured.
    My scenario is:

    Mapping to Integration Process (BPM) inbound interface format

    sync call to web service (inside Int Proc)
    web service response sent out from BPM (end of BPM)
    mapping of ws response to target structure (idoc)
    Idoc sent to r/3
    I don't know, what could be wrong. In SXI_CACHE I have return code 0 for this Integration Process, so it should be ok.
    Any ideas? Does BPM work in your PI environment?
    Thanx a lot foro help!
    Olian.

    hi,
    >>>>Any ideas? Does BPM work in your PI environment?
    of course it does
    it might mean that your installation was not done properly (or XI configuration during installation) but it has nothing to do with BPM

    Hi,
    Looks like there is some kind of error when the message was received by the bpm or when the message was being sent out of the bpm.
    In the monitor, corresponding to your message, click on PE. You could find any error in the bpm there.
    Regards,
    Smitha.

  • BPE_ADAPTER failure with S/A Bridge BPM

    Hello all,
    I've got really strange problem. After two days of searching I'd like to know your opinion.
    I'm testing simple BPM with S/A Bridge. Inside there is only a transformation of incoming message to response message - just for testing purposes. According to the thread [How to close S/A bridge immediatly without calling any asyn comm?|How to close S/A bridge immediatly without calling any asyn comm?] it's possible to do this.
    And now the troubles: on one installation of XI7.0 SP14 all works fine, on other two installations (SP11 and SP13) it doesn't work with same symptoms:
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>

      <SAP:Stack>An internal error has occurred</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
    </SAP:Error>
    and the last information from the trace is:
    <Trace level="1" type="B" name="SA_COMM">

    </Trace>
    </Trace>
    All was triple checked, triple generated, checked against working system, SXI_CACHE-BPMs have got sy-subrc 0 .. all seems fine.
    One thing to be mentioned - there is no records in SXMB_MONI_BPE, so it seems to me that the BPM is not activated at all.
    Do you have any the slightiest idea what might be wrong ?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards
    Tomas

    Hello again,
    I did some sarching and comparing in the trace log. The trace logs from "working" and "not working" system are nearly the same. There are minor exception but I count it as a different logging as from the systems with different SP level.
    Now here are the parts, which tell something about the problem. First from working system:
    <Trace level="3" type="T">reset to synchron interface MI_TST_IPSAB_ABS http://dummy.max</Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="Timestamp">2008-12-02T07:11:05Z CET  qRFC raised on XBQO$PE_WS90000001</Trace>
    <Trace level="3" type="T"> setting SA BPE state to wait for 62B5E270C04011DDC33D001CC0781F94</Trace>
    .. now from not working system
    <Trace level="3" type="T">reset to synchron interface IF_IPSAB_SYNC_ABS http://xxx.zz</Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="T"> Destination not found: </Trace>
    It still seems to me, that something is not generated correctly.
    Any ideas ?

  • An internal error has occurred - Exception of class CX_XMS_SYSERR_BPE

    Hi all,
    I created an integration scenario in PI 7.0 with 4 communication channels:
    1. XI reads an archive file using the File/FTP adapter
    2. XI writes the XMLs within the file to an FTP directory using the File/FTP adapter
    3. XI reads the XMLs using the File/FTP adapter
    4. XI maps and sends an RFC to R/3 using the RFC adapter
    XI picks up the file from step 1 but it doesn't write the XMLs from step 2 due to an error.  In SXI_MONITOR, I see the following:
    -Inbound Message ( CENTRAL ) - OK (Green Flag)
    -Receiver Grouping - OK (Black arrow)
    -Call Adapter - Red Flag
    The Call Adapter has the following:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
      <!--  Call Adapter  -->
      <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">

    When I dig a little deeper, I see the error Exception of class CX_XMS_SYSERR_BPE.
    Does anyone know why this error is occurring and how to resolve it?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Just to make sure that there is no system problem, can you please create a new BPM by copying the original one and see if that works. This will help you narrowing done the problem. This will help you debugging the issue quickly.
    Please create a new process copying the existing process in Integ Repository.
    Then deleted the Integration process existing in Integ Directory and import the new process.
    then try SXI_CACHE, If it shows some error please recreated a new configuration scenario with the newly created (copy of) Integration process.
    Hope this will help you.

  • I Need help with the following error:

    Hi, I am getting the following error:
    <b>BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</b>
    I have looked at some of the other threads that deal with this but since I am new to XI I am not sure where to look. I have tried to activate in SXI_CACHE and I get a code of 99 with the following error. I did not get this error in the QAS environment, only when it was moved to Prod. We have cleared and reset all of the caches and am still getting this error when I try to activate in SXI_CACHE:
    <b>E     'STATUSCODE' is not a component of data object 'PAYLOAD'</b>
    Can someone point me in the right direction to fix this? We just moved it to prod and need to get it fixed asap.
    Thanks in advance for all of the help.

    the problem should be solved with the help of note 890760. You might find note
    816430 interesting as well, but the first one should help you solve the problem.
    After:
    If those are already in your system, have a look at note 996631. This could be
    the solution.
    Regards and good luck with XI.

  • Duplicate check not working in sender soap adapter

    Hi guys,
    I have an urgent problem.  I am using a Sender Soap Adapter (quality of service Best Effort) to receive certain web services requests and send back synchronous responses.
    I have ticked the parameters "Use Encoded Headers" and "Use Query String" to implement duplicate check.
    For this reason I am expecting XI to return errors of the following type when the sender systems posts duplicates:
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="PERSIST">MSGGUID_EXISTING</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>D00B71AC7AEBDEB3E011E5E43C49D97B</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2>CENTRAL</SAP:P2>
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>Message ID D00B71AC7AEBDEB3E011E5E43C49D97B for pipeline CENTRAL, version already exists in system</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    However, although the duplicates go into an error status, the system is responding with the following message:
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>An internal error has occurred</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    Can anybody tell me how to force XI to return a message type "MSGGUID_EXISTING" when it catches duplicates?  Or if there is any configuration I can change?
    Many thanks,
    Aldo

    OK, this problem is resolved.
    XI seams to send the error SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL the first time it receives a duplicate message and sends the MSGGUID_EXISTING error on the following attempt to post the same message.
    Cheers.
    Aldo
