BPEL- OID configuration

Hi,
I am trying to confighure the OID as identity service for BPEL process manager. I did configured and I am able to login into worklist application using the OID users,but not BPEL console,BPEL admin. When i tried to login BPEL admin using oid admin username throws error : "User does not have enough privileges to access the Admin Console" . I did give all the permission like BPMSystemAdmin for the user. but still same error.
Could somebody point me where I might be doing wrong?
I am using ORACLE SOA suite 10.1.3.1 preview version. Thanks.!

Hi,
I have followed all steps described in
"Oracle® BPEL Process Manager Administrator's Guide 10g (10.1.3.1.0)"
"2.1.3 Configuring Identity Service 10.1.3.1.0 with 10.1.2 Oracle Internet Directory"
and performed successfully.
When the server has restarted and tired to log into BPELConsole, an error occurs with the information given "No domains accessible to the user logged in."
I have checked permissions both ServerPermission and DomainPermission are granted.
Then i tried to deploy a process from JDev 10.1.3 and got the error

  • Lookup.OID.Configuration

    Hi,
    I just came across one wierd thing.
    I couldn't find Lookup.OID.Configuration anywhere in OIM. I guess this lookup holds the connector information and is supposed to be a crucial lookup.
    I said this to be wierd as though i don't see this lookup in oim, still i've been able to successfully provision users from oim to oid and perform target recon as well.
    I can see the other lookups for Organization, Provisioning, Recon, PerfLang, Group and Role
    I'm using "OID 9.0.4.5" connector for OIM.
    Can anybody let me know as to why am I not having this in my lookup definition. Is it a version issue ??
    Regards

    Hey Kevin,
    I tried adding a Multi-Valued Attribute for Target Resource Reconciliation. What I've done so far is :
    1. Created a new form for the multivalued attribute , UD_MULTIVAL.
    2. In the Resource object of UD_OID_USR, added a new multi-valued attribute Address and also have set the Property Field.
    3. Thereafter, I've mapped the Form Field with the process data Field under the Recon Field Mappings.
    4. Once done, I've mentioned the attribute name and its property in the lookup AttrName.Recon.Map.OID for the code key ldapMultiValAttr.
    5. Also, I've mapped the Address code key with homepostaladdress field of OID under the same Recon Lookup.
    Now, when I'm running the OID User Recon Schedule Task, I can see that it successfully links the users and I can also see the table name in the resource profile for the user, but sadly, there's no value that is added to it, and it just says *[NONE]*.
    Am I actually missing out something? Can't figure it out ?
    Logs say :
    Parameter Variables passed into tcUtilLDAPOperations:search(S,S,b,S[]): are pSearchBase = dc=ad,dc=company,dc=com, pFilterExpression = (&(objectclass=homepostaladdress)(null=cn=Ajay,cn=Users,dc=ad,dc=company,dc=com)),

    2011-05-19 14:36:42,970 DEBUG [XL_INTG.OID] Parameter Variables passed into tcUtilLDAPOperations:search(S,S,b,S[]): for pAttrNames is null,
    What exactly is pAttrNames which is being fetched out to be null. In the Search Base too, it says null=cn=Ajay.
    How can I resolve this ??

    So the OIDCA couldn't see that the DB was running?
    Did you install OID on a different server than the
    DB? I am having the "OID could not be started",
    error and can't seem figure it out. No, the DB wasn't running at all.
    There was something else fish about the server configuration. I tried doing another clean install on another machine and it worked fine so this is not a general thing with 2000 server. I am still trying to compare all network settings etc. that might have been different between the two machines.

    Hi the same thing happened to me but creating a new service was handled by using the export wizard from net manager. You can actually place the entries in your tnsnames.ora and then use the netmanager Export wizard to point to your tnsnames and have the service created by that wizard.
    I figured out that this thing happens when i am remotely connected to the server using putty. But then again this was taken care of when I manually configured my laptop to use the netmanager connecting to my server. You can do this by setting up your LDAP.ora to point your DIRECTORY_SERVERS= to the server you have.

  • Oid Configuration in WebLogic

    Hi,
    I am running an ADF Application which its secure by using the weblogic security provider (OID). With the following code:
    LOGGER.info(idStore.getStoreConfiguration().getProperty(OIDIdentityStoreFactory.ST_SUBSCRIBER_NAME).toString());I get "dc=com". I believe I need to change this to a custom SUBSCRIBER_NAME.
    I can't set up this property in the weblogic console interface so I was wondering if is there a way to set it up?
    Thanks

  • AD/OID Configuration - FLAT DIT

    Can someone tell me how to create a flat DIT structure in OID? What I would like to do is map the AD domain mycompany.com and every single user object found within that tree, to the OID OU "ou=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com"?
    Can someone tell me what the domain mapping rules should look like to make that happen?
    Thanks

    Okay, I now have all of them posting correctly to ou=oidusers,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com. I couldn't locate them in OID as I was getting the LDAP Error Code 4 (Size Limit), but when I searched the directory it did find them.
    Now that I have created another OU (ie oidusers), do I need to change the usersearchbase from cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com to ou=oiduser,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com?
    For anyone looking, the domain rule that i used was as follows:
    dc=mycompany,dc=com:ou=oidusers,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com:cn=%,ou=oidusers,cn=Users,dc=mycompany,dc=com
    This rule placed all users from AD in the oidusers OU.

    JO

    Hi JO,
    Can you confirm the following:
    That the 10.1.2.0.0 Application Server instance to which you installed BPEL was configured with the same Oracle Internet Directory that is used by Content Services (you would have had an option during AS install to specify OID integration - aka Identity Management access).
    Note - that the OID Server must also be running on both SSL and non SSL Ports.
    The bpel integration documentation has been revised since the 10.1.1 release.
    As per the OC4J J2EE Security Guide, one should not need to specify full OID jazn provider information should the IAS instance be associated with Identity Management.
    Thus, you should now be able to set the following revised values in the various configuration files:
    $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_BPEL/config/jazn.xml
    <jazn provider="LDAP" />
    $ORACLE_HOME/integration/orabpel/system/appserver/oc4j/j2ee/home/config/jazn.xml
    <jazn provider="LDAP" />
    Also, the orion-application.xml file should not need to be changed at all, as it should inherit the jazn information from the container’s default JAZN configuration specified in $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_BPEL/config/jazn.xml
    To summarize:
    1) $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_BPEL/application/deployments/hw_services/orion-application.xml should not need to be modified.
    2) $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_BPEL/config/jazn.xml and $ORACLE_HOME/integration/orabpel/system/appserver/oc4j/j2ee/home/config/jazn.xml should contain a jazn entry <jazn provider=”LDAP”/>
    The steps for configuring Identity Service Provider (is_config.xml) are correct. However it should not noted that due to limitations with BPEL’s OIDIdentityService and OIDProvider classes, there is no way of setting up ssl connectivity in is_config.xml – this however has no effect on the workflows.
    thanks,
    Matt
