Your modem is maybe cable.. which is not adsl..
Or adsl which is not fibre..
Or perhaps wireless and not adsl
Or satellite and not wireless.
Or vdsl and not satellite
Or is it direct copper and not vdsl
Or it could be cable.. and we start around again.
A good modem is more than likely supplied by your ISP.. although that is not universal.. some hint of ISP and broadband type is a big step forward.

So you know what a drive dock is, and you have several options for acquiring one. You also know what Time Machine is. Beyond that, I only mentioned the need for more than one backup drive. You take one drive out of the dock, put another one in, and change your Time Machine backup destination to that drive. Repeat periodically. That way, when one of your backup drives fails, as all drives do eventually, you won't be left without a backup.

Not sure about yahoo, but for gmail, I done the following:
Set up using Exchange on iPhone, it'll keep prompting for password. On PC use captcha option, log in to gmail account from PC after completingg captcha option, enter password on iPhone.
See how that goes for gmail, let us know.
Hopefully someone will have fix for yahoo.

can anyone give a good contact number for someone in the upper level of customer care i have talked to two of the worst people from customer service, the "supervisor" who was very appropriate did give me a address to mail a complaint which i will but being a disabled veteran of the Iraq war and a member of the wounded warrior project i get upset at certain people who show no respect for the average person and even worse of an attitude to those injured serving their country. I'm in no way saying I'm better its just that i expect a grain of respect as a person, a fellow American working everyday just to get by. my issue was not an impossible issue to resolve but i was told by one rep that it was not possible after my call being "dropped" i called back and talked to another. Luke from call center Washington state told me it was possible but that the phone i ordered two days prior (that rep failed to finish the order)was no longer available and i could pick a different phone not on back order.......i mentioned my confusion to the lack of service and being told two separate things. i asked why this was when i was not the one who made the mistake he told me it was not there fault and pushed the blame to me....he then called me dude and started to speak over me. when i asked to speak to a supervisor he asked why i told him i was no longer interested in talking to him he said why, i asked to be transferred again he kept refusing saying listen man I'm trying to help you what do you want. i asked to speak to his supervisor at least three more times he refused. i asked for his employee information so i could call back to report his rude behavior he refused to give me anything except at the end he finally told me his name.. there is more but my hand is tired is there anyone who can help me? if i find an answer as i will be posting this to many sites i will post it here.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

Open your Displays system preferences. Is there an Arrangement tab and does it show two screens? If no Arrangement tab then your mac does not know it has two screens. Maybe smc and pram reset will shake it free and maybe not. Maybe there's something wrong with the connection. Just purchased an hp all in one and I can't download software called apple and they suggested either epson or canon as hp always causes trouble to mac's can anyone suggest a good ebson or canon all in one.

I just purchased an HP All-In-One and when I went to download software it said my Mac didnt support it to contact HP. When I contacted HP they wanted me to pay to set up my computer so the machine would work. I contacted Apple and the agent told me to take it back and get either Epson or Canon as HP is not always Mac friendly can anyone suggest a good Epson or Canon All In One.
