BPM Configuration Error on Weblogic Configuration

Hi,
I try to configure BPM Directory and always get error on wlst.sh command
weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceSystemException: Cannot load driver class: weblogic.jdbcx.oracle.OracleDataSource
My system spec:
- Solaris SPARC 64
- Weblogic 10.3.0.0 using JRockit 1.6.0_16
- BPM 10gR3
The configuration error in weblogic configuration.

Just checking: Are you using BPM 10.3.2?
Do you mean the BPM Directory Configuration?Yes, I'm talking about the directory configuration and the engine configuration too.
I've configure the BPM Directory to use BPM's Oracle Driver Version:10,11 which is selected by default by the BPM Configuration Wizard but still got the jdbc driver error. If you are using 10.3.2, you will see that there is another driver called: "Oracle Driver Version:10,11" (without BPM!!). You must use that driver. (if you install the latest 10.3.2 HF, that driver is the default one).
If you don't have that driver, then you are using an older version than 10.3.2. Please migrate to 10.3.2.

I was using configurator without trouble. Unfortunately, my battery died and my computer went down. I plugged my computer in, restarted it and tried to open configurator. Lightroom: configuration error 5. Can't start the app. Can't deinstall.

I am trying to start lightroom CC.
I get a configuration error message.
After deleting the app from the application folder, I can't download a new version or reinstall or anything.
How can I re-downlaod something from CC?
How can I thouroughly delete an app?
Any ideas?

Seems that after deleting the app you are still seeing the app as 'Up to Date' in AAM
Please refer the Kb : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Configuring Error Pages

Hi,
I am trying to configure error pages, I configured it in web.xml for html error codes(404,500 ...) and I am expecting the error page to show when any of the configured html error occurs in any of the four jsp's that I am using.It worked for after disabling "Show friendly messages" in IE.,but instead of a regular html error page can I configure a pop-up, if the error happens.Can someone help me with this issue please.Many Thanks.

Use Javascript for that. Set a boolean toggle somewhere in the request scope and use it in JSP/JSTL to write a Javascript popup to the response or not.
Having said that, popups almost always lead to bad user experience. I wouldn't even think about using that way to display error messages.

BPM for Weblogic configuration is failed

1, I install BPM for Weblogic.
2, I create a domain for weblogic using config tool and start it.

ALC-LCM-100-011 error for configuring LC to weblogic

When trying to configure LC to managed weblogic application server. I am seeing this error. I tried to change the port from 7001 to 8001(configured for managed server). I tried to put the IP of localhost and tried with 127.0.0.1 and no use. My weblogic is running and I am able to see the page when hit http://localhost:7001/console
Please help me if I missed some thing for configuration.

In case you do, Could you please check whether the Machine is mapped to the Application Server and further with the managed Server in weblogic.
I had a similar issue some time back, I was able to resolve it by checking the weblogic configuration for the Managed Server running LC.

how resolve this problem and how find log file weblogic to this error?

In user environments where the path to java is not already established as an system-level environment variable, the service is unable to determine where to find java and this error will occur.
This could occur, for example, in environments where there is more than one JDK installed, or where the default JDK is different from the JDK which needs to be used by WLS.
Try to set the environment variable in windows i.e JAVA_HOME=C:\Sun\Java\jdk1.7.xx.x. to point to jdk 1.7 and run the configuration wizard.

'UnknownHostException ' during OBPM enterprise for weblogic configuration

I am configuring OBPM enterprise 10.3 for weblogic on Windows 7 machine.
Below is the error that I receive,

1) With WLST on comand prompt, I am able to connect to t3://esp50ws19444-7:7001
2) I tried using the 'IP address' and Full DNS name 'esp50ws19444-7.CRB.APMOLLER.NET' but BPM configuration still fails
3) Referred below threads but no success,

I see that my C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file is empty and it says that the name resoultion is managed in DNS itself.
Giving localhost and computername/ipaddress in 'hosts' file did not help me.

I am really surprise to see this behavior,
weblogic is able to connect to t3:server:port and OBPM is refusing to connect in WLST
Anybody can let me know why is this behavior?

Receiver Mail Adapter configuration Error???

Hi,
i've created a Mail Adapter with the following configuration:
Adaptertype: Mail
Receiver
Transport-Protocol: SMTP
Message-Protocol: XIPAYLOAD
Adapter-Engine: Integration-Engine
I set From and To Fields to a valid address. When i start a test the message is passing the integration engine and an error occurs within the mail-adapter:
Mail: Configuration error: Channel 7a15b118b96b392bbc9be5922f55b7d0is not configured for XIMailAdapter
Mail: call failed; com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error: invalid XIMailAdapter channel 7a15b118b96b392bbc9be5922f55b7d0

Configure Visualvm with weblogic 10.0

I followed the procedure below to configure VisualVm with weblogic 10.0
I have installed jdk1.6_18 in /usr/jdk1.6_18 on solaris 10.0.
created jstatd.all.policy file with entry
grant codebase "file:${java.home}/../lib/tools.jar" {

in /usr/jdk1.6_18/bin
executed below line from the same where i have the jstatd.all.policy file
jstatd -J-Djava.security.policy=jstatd.all.policy
I am unable to enable jstatd i getting the following error:

java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object

It looks like you're trying to deploy with the CR.NET merge modules for VS2003. You'll need to deploy the CR.NET merge modules for VS2005 instead.
You can find the merge modules for the various versions at this link on the BOBJ site:http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/merge_modules.asp
Choose the correct version. If you're using the bundled edition of CR.NET that ships with VS2005 - CR.NET 2005, then click on the link for VS2005. If you're using CR XI Developer, or CR XI R2 Developer then click on the link for the version you're using.
The CR.NET 2005 merge modules have deployment instructions in the download.

When we deploy in the Portal weblogic server, Application is deploying with out any errors. But it is not showing any login page when I start the PTLoginMain.portal file.
As I am completly new to this Weblogic Portal server, Please let me know, Do i need to configure the any setting before starting the application. I mean to ask you that Pre-requisites required for the local configuration of the Weblogic portal Server.

and your server address can be resolved or not?
Are you accessing the server from Windows or Linux?
- On Linux try editing the /etc/hosts file and add something like: 10.241.110.105 server1.etcetera
- On Windows try editing the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and add something like: 10.241.110.105 server1.etcetera
When this works, contact your system administrator and ask him or her to map an ip to your hostname in DNS and DHCP
such that the servername automatically resolves the ip-address

Error in ORM configuration

Hi All,
I am using Weblogic as application server for ORM. I have followed all the steps given in ORM installation guide and used the "Install software only" option.
After that I have done all the configurations in weblogic as specified in the document. Then I deployed the server.ear file. Everything was successful and no error occured. But when I start the server.ear application then it gets failed and I get the following exception:

If you are using a Software only Install option, do the following steps after running the db scripts to create tablespace, db owner % app user.
go to ORACLE_HOME\bin\deploy.sh(cmd) and deploy the standard.car , configurations.car (refer to documentation on the syntax)
once successfully deployed start the application server (assuming u followed the documentation for configuring ORM on weblogic)
