BPM in iTunes - How Does It Work?

Hey people,
i was wondering if anyone could help me with the BPM Function on itunes.
i have it in the bar at the top, but how do i get it to read the bpm of all my songs? do i need to play all the songs all the way through? (9000+ tracks will take a long time!)

Hm, I just checked my files in iTunes (116 GB)
And aprox 95% of them have the BPM value. Wow.
I noticed that the iTunes store bought DRM protected 128kbps .aac files - did not have it.
I've applied iVolume on all of the files. Maybe it is that program that have calculated the BPM?, cause it didn't work on the DRM protected iTunes files.

I can't read the page you link to as it's in Russian. However, many 'cloud' service are intended for you to store your files for your own use, requiring a login, and this won't work for a podcast. You need to host the feed and the media files on a web sperver, the same as if they were actually web pages, so that they are accessible to all.

Just reboot your laptop... While its rebooting try to reboot your phone also by holding the home and power buttonn for 10-15 seconds...When your phone is turned off try to connect it to iTunes and it will recognize your phone in recovery mode.
If you have the .ipsw file for iOS 7.0.6 saved in your desktop then in itunes press shift and click on Restore.
Select the ipsw file and let it restore.
If you dont have it downloaded then simply click on restore.

What is iTunes Match and how does it work? I have several tunes on my computer that do not show complete. The source of these tunes are from my own CDs.

Basically it looks at the music you have in iTunes. If it sees the equivalent on the iTunes Store site it does nothing, but it makes that copy accessible to you to download. If you have music it doesn't it will upload a version from your computer to the site that only you can access from anywhere online.
In your case if you have incomplete tracks it will not fix them. It does some kind of audio fingerprinting to make sure you aren't just feeding it a bunch of 60s demonstration cuts and trying to get whole tracks back.

This is not a complaint, but a confused sigh of admiration. I've got an email account at the university where I teach. When I got my iBook, it took me a while, and a few conversations with IT at the school, to get this account working in the Mail application. (Since I have a Verizon DSL at home, I had to include that SMTP as the outgoing server.) You need to transfer the iTunes Library from the most recent backup you made before the hard drive was replaced.
You can't transfer the full iTunes Library from the iPad back to iTunes.
There are third-party Windows applications that will transfer data from an iOS device, but they don't re-create the iTunes Library exactly as it was before.

How does artwork work?????

in my itunes library, i have songs that i bought from the itunes store and songs that i added from CDs or other download means ... i always make sure the artist, album and title match whats in itunes databes and then i right clikc choose get artwork ... i also have enable artwork display on ipod ...
is the artwork downloaded and added to the song file? or will it only display if connected to the internet? i do see the artwork on my ipod for all songs ... so i was just wondering how does it work?

I far as I know, it is added to the file (sort of). However, if you delete a song per say from your library that has album artwork downloaded from the store, when you add it back i'm pretty sure you'll have to re-download the artwork. A more probable case is if your songs accidentally get deleted from your library. *Tell me if you want to know how* to permanently add it to the file so if in case your songs accidentally get deleted, you don't have to worry about downloading the artwork again.

How does autoFS work?

How does it work? I guess on a more technical aspect. Why do some of my samba shares not show up? Would they show up better if they were afp or ftp or something? And why do they then show up after I go to server and put in the ip address? I've added a share to my login items but I guess that only means when I boot up and not when I login from sleep. I even have an alias to a folder on the share on my desktop hoping that would create the link needed but it doesn't really work. How can I make the Finder/AutoFS scan the network for shares?
