BPM process help

Question

Hi All,
I have a scenario to send six independent customized idocs which has the same structure. I am planning to use one BPM for the six idocs. When I put six receive blocks, i am forced to give correlation for each. I am not sure what kind of correlation can I give bcoz, each idoc is independent of other(ie,there is no correlation). Is it possible to send six idocs thru XI using one BPM?

Hi Deno,
1) The fork will not complete until u receive all the 6 IDoc's. But u told initially that the 6 IDocs are independent of each other. So u should not use a  fork in this case.
Moreover u cannot put all the receive steps in a sequence ( u can use this type only when the messages are independent of eachother, since the process will not get started until u get the message ( Rx step with a tick mark "start process", that will trigger the BPM.
So after analyzing you scenario, i suggest you to have 6 different BPM's if the 6 IDoc's are independent.
So in your scenario, u will have 6 BPM's corresponding to each IDoc.
Corresponding to them you will have 6 receiver determinations and route them to the corresponding BPM's.
In a BPM u will have a
1) Rx step -- Rx IDOc
2) Transform -- Trasnsform IDOc into required message Type
3) send step -- Send the Message.
then u need to create 6
