  • Payload involving BPM does not display in RWB

HI I have two scenarios one with BPM and another without BPM.
Both work fine end to end.
For the non BPM scenario I am able to display the message content>payload on the details page of RWB.
But I am not able to see the payload in any of the steps for BPM in RWB, rather it gives a security warning and asks to save the payload.  Saved payload is looks correct.
I am not able to see the payload in the BPM workflow container as well, it says no persistent object could be generated for the payload.
I can see the payload in sxmb_moni. Though there is two payload at every step, one is the actual payload and another  is XI_content something like
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

      <VALUE />
      </RMS_CONTEXT>
      </CONTEXT>
      </asx:values>
      </asx:abap>
Is there any configuration required for the payload to be displayed for the BPM scenario or some authorization?
    Any pointers would be appreciated.

    Hi,
The interface (BPM) what ever you are using, that is configured for hide the payload in RWB.
I hope you are using same user id for 2 (BPM and without BPM) interfaces.
We can hide the payload in SXMB_MONI and RWB for interface.

  • Send Synchronous message from Oracle to BPM to CRM in RWB

    Hi All,
I have a scenario like this Oracle Sender (synchronous interface)-> calling ccBPM -> CRM which is a synchronous process.
Oracle sends an external message to CRM and get the response back. This is achieved using ccBPM due to some internal calls from ccBPM to MDM also sycnhronously.
So there are three receive determination created
    Oracle to ccBPM
    ccBPM to MDM
    ccBPM to CRM
Now, the question is I have some message to be send from RWB for testing whether this process works properly or not in staging system. How do I send the message in RWB for this kind of process. This is a syynchronous process
And sender should be oracle system, receiver shuld be what? ccBPM or CRM from RWB perspective.
Hope you all got the question.
    Thanks
    Mike

    Hi,
How do I send the message in RWB for this kind of process. This is a syynchronous process

You need to mentioned Oracle as sender & receiver would be BPM.
BTW, why do you put a receiver name, you should only supply Sender parameters (Sender Name, Interface & Namespace), Let PI , determine the receiver which is true testing.

I have a BPM interface running fine since 1 year.
In this BPM I have wait step for 5 minutes.
But yesterday message  is stopped on wait and not proceeding ahead.
I checked XML is good as per mapping. and in runtime wirk bench message is still in "To Be Delivered status"
and in SXMB_MONI message column Outbound Status still showing "Message being sent" even after 12 hours.(wait is only 5 minutes). And below is the trace of last message.
Please guide how to handle or restart this message. in SMQ1 & SMQ2 there are no queues showing:

  • Reg: Message and BPM

    Hi
I'm having a scenario where i use a JDBC adapter to extract data from a DB. As a result of the query say, 10 rows are returned as message to XI server. I have a transformation (BPM) set and the receiver(target system) is a file. When i open the file to see its contents i can see only the first record been transfered. The mapping part used for the transformation node is having IF condition. But all the fetched records satisfies the conditions in the mapping.
Pls let me know the corrective step.
    reg: Prabhu

    Hi,
1)Check the input XML i.e all 10 records are coming into XI . This you can check in SXMB_MONI
    2) Then you can test the mapping in the integration Reposiotry .. So now you can get if any mapping problem. For this , check is the occurence of target strcuture is 1..n or 0.n
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/16/xi-how-to-test-your-mapping-in-real-life-scenarios
    3) If mapping is correct , then check the RWB->Message Monitoring->Message Display Tool and check the payload.
    4) If this is correct, then check the File COntent Conversion of the Receiver File Adapter.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Moorthy

  • How to raise alert in BPM

    Hi Experts,
Please tell me how to raise alert using control step in BPM. What are the other steps to be used with control step for raising alerts?
Is CCMS Alerts and Alerts by BPM are same? If they are not the same, how they are different to each other?
my requirement is, simply i want to raise a mapping, data related errors by Alert.
in addition to it, i want to raise alerts for any failure in IE.
Could any one tell , what are the sequence of steps needed in BPM for the above requirement?  Plz take a IDOC to FTP receiver scenario and explain me BPM steps.

  • Using Standard Container Variables in Email Alerts from BPM

    Dear All
While creating alert categories from ALRTCATDEF we have a Long Text Tab where we can use Container  Variables like  SXMS_MSG_GUID ,SXMS_RULE_NAME, SXMS_ERROR_CAT , SXMS_ERROR_CODE etc create the mail contents.  We can also display the message passed by the BPM by using the variable
    ALERTDYNAMIC_SHORTTEXT , ALERTDYNAMIC_LONGTEXT .
In my case when I call the alert category from the BPM , the message passed by the BPM is displayed through the ALERTDYNAMIC_LONGTEXT in the alert inbox , but I am not able to utilize the other container variables (like SXMS_MSG_GUID ,SXMS_RULE_NAME, SXMS_ERROR_CAT ) for displaying the messageid ,error category etc. Using these variables for alerts invoked from BPM results in Blank Values for all the container variables.
If the alert is not invoked from BPM these variables are getting populated.
My question is is there a way by which we can utilize these variables for Alerts thrown from BPM.

  • Alerts in case of XSLT Mapping failure without BPM

    Dear All,
We are working on IDOC - SOAP Scenario and mapping is through XSLT Mapping.
when the Vendor number field in IDOC is coming blank/invalid, the mapping should fail and an email alert should go to business.
This IDOC-SOAP is Asynchronous and not using any BPM. So can we raise a alerts withut using BPM.
I have gone through some blogs but I can see the alerts in Inbox but where as I want the alert through EMAIL.
    Any pointers are highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Srini

    Dear Srinivas,
When you want the Alert to be send through email, then you need to configure the required mentioned below.
1.In SU01 ,Assign the corresponding Email ID for the Recipient of the ALERT.
    2. In , RWB>ALERT INBOX> PERSONALIZATION--> Go to Time Independent Delivery and  check the Email option.
    3. Go to the transaction  code SCOT,INT->SMTP and mention the corresponding  Mail Host and Port in SMTP Address. Then select the set in the Internet of supported Address Types and give mail address in the Address area.
Note: Check whether Node is use is checked.
You can find the mails which are pending/failed/success in the SOST Transaction code.
Check if you have access for this configuration.Otherwise get help from Basis team.

  • HTTP time out Error in BPM.....

    Hi
    Error Description:
We have created a Sync-Async Bridge BPM scenario in XI.
In the BPM scenario we are calling the web service, and if the response from the web service is an error message then we have retry in a loop up to 24 times after wait for every 1 min.
We are sending the data to the web service using a proxy created in the R/3 system.
We are getting the time out error in the R/3 system.
We have changed the following parameters in XI.
In SXMB_ADM of XI we have set the value for the following parameter.
    Category                      parameter                                                                    current value
    SA_COMM                    CHECK_FOR_ASYNC_RESPONSE_TIMEOUT                120
In SXMB_ADM of R/3 we have set the value for the following parameter.
    Category                      parameter                                                                    current value
    RUNTIME                      HTTP_TIMEOUT                                                            120
When we put the value as 120 for the above parameters and we try for 2 times in the BPM process, then it is sending the response back to the R/3 system after completing the whole BPM process.
But when we increase the no of retries in the BPM process then it is not sending the response back to the R/3 system in the same way, at that time we are getting the error in SXMB_MONI of R/3 system as given below.

Thanks for your replay. I am able to open the URL from XI/PI.

    Error is:

  • BPM sync-async bridge returns status "to be delivered"

    Hi experts!
I have a BPM consisting of the following steps:
    1. Receive (open S/A bridge): Msg SalesOrder
    2. Transformation: create Msg SalesOrderResponse
    3. Send (close S/A bridge): SalesOrderResponse (to sending system)
    4. Send (async send): SalesOrder (to receiver system)
RWB shows 4 messages when the scenario is executed:
    Sender - BPM
    BPM - BPM
    BPM - Sender
    BPM - Receiver
The BPM works in that both the sender and receiver system receives the expected messages (SalesOrderResponse and SalesOrder), but the RWB returns the status "To be delivered" for the message from Sender to BPM and from BPM to BPM.
SXMB_MONI shows one message only, which is successful, and the PE_ADAPTER shows the BPM as completed.
Do you know why the status is "to be delivered", when the messages are received correctly at both sender and receiver system?
How can we make all messages involved in the scenario successful?
Thank you very much for any help!
    Br,
    Kenneth

Thank you, but I have already re-created all interfaces and the BPM in IR, and reimported to ID. I do not get any error messages anywhere, SXI_CACHE is OK (return code 0 for BPM), SWWL contains no old processes.
Another maybe useful piece of information:
the two messages returning "To be delivered" status in RWB both exist for Integration Engine. The first, for Sender -> BPM, the inbound channel is AENGINE and outbound channel is SA_COMM. Could it be that SA_COMM does not notify AENGINE that it has received the message?
The other message with the same status is from BPM -> BPM, with message interface SalesOrderResponse_ABS both for sender and receiver, which I don't understand why. This interface should only be used from BPM to sender... There is no inbound or outbound channel specified for this message.
So is the BPM sending some information to itself through the same message interface?
    Any clues?

    Any suggestions???

    Hello,
Check all the queues SM58, SMQ1, SMQ2. Check the RWB for the messages on the adapter engine.
Also, you will have to check the workflow log. Go thru the following steps.
Scroll the successful message in the monitor to the right to see columns like Inbound or Outbound. You will see a value PE in one of the column. On clicking it, you will go into the workflow log. Then, goto the technical details. You will see all the steps configured in the BPM and various tabs below which gives minute details about each step. Look for errors in any of the step bu going thru the details.
There might be the case that the mapping itself might have gone into error. Or some step inside the BPE is in a waiting mode.

  • BPM Error Permanent Error in BPE inbound processing

    Hi
I require some urgent help on this BPM issue.
We are trying to integrate SRM PO being directly sent to Vendors using HTTP. We are getting an error saying ‘Permanent Error in BPE inbound processing’. The scenario works like this.
SRM system would sent PO using the SRM Standard interface PurchaseOrderRequest_Out. We need to transform the message into cXML format and send it to the vendors using HTTP adapter. Using the HTTP response we need to trigger an email to the business process team.
The SRM interface is under the software component SAP SRM Server 5.5 and our mapping is being done in a common software component and for the vendor interface we have another software component. We have created a relationship in the SLD by making the common SWC as dependent software component to SAP SRM Server and Vendor Software Component. So in the integration repository we are able to get the interfaces for the SAP SRM Server and Vendor Software Component under the common software component. The receive step for this BPM is a copy of the standard SRM interface PurchaseOrderRequest_Out(as the standard interface is an asynchronous interface) and we would require an abstract interface for the BPM. We have checked the semantics for the BPM and its fine. The related ID development is in place. When the message is being triggered, it gives us this above mentioned error. When we go to the QRFC monitor we are able to check the details.

    Hi Indranil,
         You don't see you BPM....
First go to SXI_CACHE and check that your BPM is listed there and that the compilation has been completed succesfully.
Is this the first time the BPM is being used? If so check if has been configured. For example, go to RWB->Component Monitoring->BPE in <SYSID>
and check if any error is listed there.
In order to check what is going on in your BPM you can trace it:
                      SXMB_MONI_BPE->Diagnosis Processes with Errors
SXMB_MONI->Process, get your msg and click on 'PE'. You should see the workitems and see if there is any error.
             Hope this helps you....

  • Retries in BPM Send Step

    Hello,
I wouild like to send a message using the send step in BPM to an http receiver. Requirement is, if the http server is not reachable there should be 3 retries and afterwards an error should be thrown.
How would I do this? Do I need three error handler branches, where each of those has the same send step? And then apply a 4th error handler which then terminates the process? I think there should be a simpler solution.
    What do you think?

For http receiver, you will finally receive error message in sxmb_moni (not RWB). If you have standard retry configuration in sxmb_moni, then same would be applied in this case also.

  • BPM: skip a permanent error in a sequential ForEach ? Possible ?

In a BPM, i split a message with 100 records in 100 individual records (1..n mapping).
Then i use a ForEach Block (sequential) to send those 100 records using a synchronous Send step.
The Send step is a call on a partner Web Service.
Sometimes i receive a SOAP Fault.
    This SOAP fault can be:
    a) a temporary problem on the remote system... for example a database is down
    b) a permanent problem... for example something's wrong in a XML structure
But i don't know in advance what kind of unexpected problem this is.
So i have to stop the process and someone must determine if it's a case a) or b), using the BP Monitor.
In case of a), i just have to wait the problem is solved and restart the BP exactly where it was stopped
In case of b), there's no chance to solve the problem. The BP must skip this Send step N and continue with the Send step N+1 in the ForEach loop.
I'm not allowed to resend the whole 100 records in case of a problem with the record 50 for example....
If a set "Start new transaction" everywhere, the BP will be able to restart exactly where it was stopped.
    Now my questions:
Is is possible to manually force the BP to:
    - restart exactly where it was stopped ?
    - skip the error and continue to the next step ?
    - restart from the beginning ?
    How ?
    Thank you
