BPM with Synch Interface

Hello
I have scenario Sysnh HTTP -> BPM.
I have control step in BPM that cancel process in case of error. When the process is canceled sysch sender does't get error immediately. Sender wait until timeout.
Is it possible to configure that IE must return error immediately?

Hi,
As this is a sync step, it's BE and it is expecting a reply from the destination which can be positive and negetive. So the step will wait for the response.
Also, where is your error happening and how is it controlling the send step. If you manage to raise the error before send then I guess you can avoid the timeout.

    4.     BPM_TFile_ABS (Abstract Asynchronous) => JDBC_Responce MessageType
    5.     Target_File_IB (Inbound Asynchronous) => Target File MessageType
    Is it correct? And what about mapping???? Which Interfaces to map?
    One more confusion is while adding containers for these steps in BPM which ABSTRACT interfaces should we use? In above mentioned Blogs everything is clear Except BPM part … I am not able to figure out how are all steps created in BPM?
    Can anybody plz help me with interface Mapping and BPM (Containers / Abstract Interfaces)?

  • ABAP Proxy and BPM with message maping

    Hi all,
    I have a scenario like :
    ABAP Client Proxy ( synch )
    ->    BPM  ( to retriggr SOAP call and raise alerts with error and reponse back to Abap client )              
    -> message mapping
    -> SOAP ( synch )
    1. What can be the issues with this scenario ?
    2. How can I return response and excetion back to ABAP client from BPM ?

    You mean you are planning to use a BPM for all Interfaces just because someone told so? Why use a BPM when there is no need for it. If you have a Business Process that demands a BPm then yes use it, but for this sceanrio, you can use Fault messages to propaggate the error back to the R3 system, and use the Xi alerts ( without BPM ) if a runtime error occurs etc.
    Is there some Business Process Involved here? What is the exact requirement?

    However i've tested with same input message in Operation Mapping ESR, without any error.
    What could be the cause?

    Hi,
    Are you using parameterized mapping or RFC lookup in your mapping???? If yes, please make sure that you are passing the parameter in the interface determination instead of null value.
    Also verify whether your cache is updated  with the latest GUID of your mapping program or not.

  • BPM with sofware component dependency issue

    Hi ,
      I have all abstract interfaces in the sotware component A and interface mapping,message mapping and BPM is in the Software component B.Software component B has the dependency with A.In my BPM container variables I am able to refer the abstract interfaces from the software component A.But in the transformertion step inside the bpm,eventhough the container variables and the souce , target messages interfaces refers the same interface and namespace it gives an error at design time. Is there any constraint in BPM ie: abstract interfaces which we have used in BPM should be in the same namespace where BPM resides.

    Ur integration process must be defined in SWC A.
    There is a constraint. From help.sap
    An integration process can only reference interfaces from its own software component version.

  • JDBC- XI-BPM- Proxy synch scenario.

    Hi Experts,
    We already have the scenario with JDBC --> BPM > RFC which we need to convert it to the scenario JDBC> BPM -->ABAP Proxy.
    Since i'm new to BPM development, i couldn't find a way to implement the requirement, because for BPM the message interface should be Abstract and these Abstract Message interfaces won't be visible in the SPROXY transaction.
    Please let us know what would be the approach to achieve this requirement.
    Note: XI system Version is 3.0 with SP-19.

    i couldn't find a way to implement the requirement, because for BPM the message interface
    should be Abstract and these Abstract Message interfaces won't be visible in the SPROXY transaction.
    What you need:
    1) An Inbound Async/ Sync (as the case may be)...this MI will have the message type that you want to send-receive from the BPM...and the message(s) inlcuded in this Inbound MI should be same as in the Abstract MI from the BPM_to_Proxy communication....
    Then you can develop your proxy in SPROXY...
    Looking at the flow I am confused whether the flow is Sync (as you mentioned in subject) or Async (as the flow shows)...hence mentioned req/ resp messages in the resposne above.

    The BPM sends messages synchronous (abstract interface) to a Business Service that receives a message synchronous (inbound interface).
    For the integration of these services is necessary to set up a Receiver Agreement with a Communication Channel of type SOAP Receiver.
    My questions are:
    Why should the communication takes place between SAP XI I have to set up a channel SOAP?
    Is there any way to send messages from a BPM to a service SAP XI (Webservice / Interface) in an efficient manner?

  • Had difficulty with synching music. Music was deleted when I changed/added new info.  Had to start over.  So...I checked procedure and it say if you change anything, hit the apple button.  Which one?  Never had to do this previous to the new operatin

    I was having trouble with synching my iphone 5 since the new operating system was installed.  But I was waiting for my 6+ and figured it would be solved with my dandy new phone.  No such luck.  I downloaded a great deal of music and then added to it and synched again.  Music gone, except paid for stuff bought on the phone.  So I added more and tried to load it again, and it did.  But now, I was afraid to add anything, backup,  and synch for any reason as it takes 12 hours + to load my music.
    So, I went back to basics and looked up the procedure.  It does say that if you make a change, " you should hit the apple button before you synch."  Which one?
    No info on what they mean.  And clearly this is a change.  I'm feeling stupid, but lately, Apple makes changes and expects you to intuitively figure them out.  I usually do but was stumped here.  It might be nice to get a heads up when changes occur.
    Please help !
    Oh and also, I can't seem to download ringtones I have created. 

    I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current.  Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.

  • Problem with Local Interfaces (WSAD 5)

    I built an Entity Bean with Local Interface and a Remote Interface (apperently they both have the same JNDI name in WSAD)
    and when I look up for the name from other Session Bean (same EJB group) and I try to cast it to the local interface there is a classCastException.............

    I had the same problems as you that went away. If you have both remote and local interfaces defined, and your remote inerface can be accessed via JNDI lookup using (say) "ejb/sessionbean/stateless/HelloHome", then you can access the local intercafe using "local:ejb/ejb/sessionbean/stateless/HelloHome".
    The URL http://localhost:9080/UTC/initialize?port=2809 is very useful to browse the JNDI tree. Just expand "Local EJB beans" and position your mouse over the item of interest. The JNDI lookup name will echo in the bottom (solid) frame of the browser. The only problem is that the jndilookup name will appear (mistakenly) as local:/ejb/ejb/stateless......, just get rid of the first forward-slash to make it look like local:ejb/ejb/stateless....

  • Query reg Variable Substitution with enhanced interface mapping

      The scenario is IDoc to file using enhanced interface determination (message split based on some conditions) and the output file name should be based on a field value in the  IDoc. So, I've tried using Variable Substitution Option in the receiver file adapter. But it's failing with the error 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.varsubst.VariableDataSourceException'. 
    My question is does Variable Substitution works with Enhanced Interface Determination? Bcoz the outcome of interface determination is a main and sub payload.

  • Troubleshoot CRS with 100GE interface

    We have some trouble with 100GE interfaces. Log says it's a far end failure, but anyway I would like to discard this side.
    Looking at the output of "show controllers hundredGigE 0/13/0/0 all" I really can't tell everything's Ok.
    I would like to understand a few things about this output:

    Can you please let me know how would I load external DLLs with C++ interface in TestStand?

    TestStand 3.x can only call static class C++ methods. TestStand cannot call methods on a C++ object because TestStand does not know how to enstantiate the C++ object.  In TestStand 3.x, there is a online help topic called "Exporting Class Methods and Functions in Visual Studio .NET".

    Hello, if I store a photo (taken with a digital camera) on the internal hard disk of my MacBook Pro, select it in the Finder an press CMD-I, to show the file informations, then under 'More Info", the EXIF data is shown. If I copy this picture to my N
