BPML for FI/CO

Hey Guys,
Please send the Business Process Master List (BPML) which lists out all the sap standard menu transactions in FI & CO in hierarcy form . You could sent it to me at [email protected]

Search for a filled Business Process List (Formaly known as BPML)

I need a Business Process List (Formaly known as BPML) for a project. In ASAP7.1 the template BusinessProcessList_Template.xls is empty.The sample BusinessProcessList_Sample.xls is not covering my need for the complete ERP BPL.
How to find/get a filled BPL??

You can use the -replace operator and a regex to do this.

In your code, you should be able to use that when you set $value:

The $1 is a "backreference", which designates the first capture group (inside the parens) in the regex.

How to model a parallel process in BPML

I've just started using BPML to model a process for CAF. In the process, there will be a block of steps that will have to be repeated for a list of employees, in parallel.
I want to model the parallel process in a BPML diagram; I've had a look through some introductory texts, but cannot see a way that I can represent a parallel process. Also, the exact number and identity of the employees is unknown at run time.
Can anybody help with this?

The following information may clarify some doubts/requirements you have.
Generating the Project IMG through ASAP:
After you have set the project scope, the next step is to generate the Project IMG. From the Business Process Master List (BPML), you can directly access the IMG activities relevant for configuring each process.
BPML: The Business Process Master List, along with the Business Blueprint, is a key result of the second phase of the Roadmap. Microsoft Excel tables contain the SAP scenarios, process groups, and processes that have been set in scope in the SAP Reference Structure, and are crucial for configuring your SAP System. In Realization, the third phase of the Roadmap, the BPML provides the basis for monitoring and steering test activities and for configuring your SAP System. It contains the titles of the structure items, and displays the status, the owner, links to documentation and links to the SAP System. Amongst other things, the BPML allows you to:
1) Set your baseline and final scope. These are used for baseline and final configuration.
2) Access the Project IMG and specific IMG activities assigned to structure items.
3) Access integration test plans, which help you carry out all required integration tests.
The Prerequisite is you have set the project scope.
Process Flow to use the Business Blueprint as a basis for configuring your SAP System:
1) Set the project scope.
2) Generate the Project IMG.
3) Generate the BPML.
4) From a specific processes in the BPML, you can go to the relevant IMG activities and make Customizing settings.

As answer on question 1:
No I never found any documentation from SAP that described a ESB solution. So al the knowledge must come from other vendors in your case from Sonic.
But there is hope you can use XI in a ESB way. You must only (add) configure the ESB parts. This is done by adding a service repository for example the UDDI server in combination with some BPML engine.
By adding it al together you can execute your business processes over multiple system platforms using SOAP in a synchronic way.
This is the basic concept of a ESB.
The answer to question 2.
I dont know if XI has build in support, but a know that there are free tools that can handle Canonical XML. So you can make a service your self to handle the Canonical XML documents.

Can anybody advise me any tips in preparing a Business Process Master List. I have got all the transactions to be listed. I just want to know how to start and work on. I am working on Source to Pay (MM) BPML. Any template or any useful info is welcomed.

Thanks for your mail. I have already gone thru that link but to be frank, i didnt understand it properly.
I just know the transactions to be included and nothing else. I appreciate if you could let me know whether i need to have anything else in specific.
In the link, as a prerequisite, it is mentioned that BPML has to be created as a report from Q&A DB but i dont have any Q&A db.
So, if i need to create a BPML report, is it just an excel sheet report which includes all the transactions??
If i am right, please let me know. I will first draft a report with all the transactions. And then, please try to guide me what afterwards...i mean how everything is linked etc.

Wrong 'mini dvi to video' adapter for my 12" Powerbook 1.33

I recently bought the M9319 mini dvi - video adapter for my 12" Powerbook 1.33 to find that the mini dvi on the adapter is a different size to the one on the computer and the adapters supplied with the computer.
I've been doing a bit of research into this and it seems a bit of a grey area. Apple have not made it clear in advertising this product that it is only suitable for the newest 12" Powerbooks and even state that it will work with a 1.33 machine in their following article:

Has anyone had a similar experience, or suggest an alternative product that will work? Did Apple make an older version that works with the 1.33?

Just took the adapter to my local Apple store and they identified it as a mini VGA to video adapter - not what it said on the packaging!
I've noticed a few posts with this problem, so just double check before you leave the store that the packaging matches the product.
