BPMon - Idoc reporting alert types

Hi folks,
I configured a biz process scenario where an ECC system delivers Idoc to a PI system.
I want to trace the average time to process IDocs, so I activated Idoc Reporting alert type. As filters I set to monitor only outbound Idocs, of type ZORDERS (customer type) for today as selected day and monitoring idocs from state 01 to 03.
The very strange thing is that this type of metric seams to compute mesures in an esotic way. In fact, this morning, for example, the monitor told me that for 4 Idocs monitored the average processing time was about 2100 seconds, but checking these idocs in we05 I found the times you can see below:
Idoc n°             init state     final state       delta time (sec)
25491614     02:40:19     02:40:20                1
25472952     02:48:33     02:48:34                1
25468881     04:50:33     04:50:33                0
25490739     05:25:59     05:26:00                1
                                                       0,75     avg time (sec)
so my expectation was to have an average value 0.75 sec and not 2000+.
Anyone of you as faced this kind of issue?
many thanks
BR
Roberto

Hi all,
I solved the issue, in fact, referring to the idocs times I reported, Idoc n° 3 wasn't in my final state = to 03 but in state 26. So this means that solman takes as starting time  04:50:33 and, as final time, the instant at the moment of measure. So if solman measure idoc data at 05:30:33 as happened, delta time for idoc 3 is 2400 secs.
To solve it, I set parameter status message number = to 083 into my idoc filter, in such a way solman consider only idoc with final state 03 and that message numer.
cheers
Roberto

  • Error while trying to post inbound idoc of message type COND_A

    Hi,
I am getting error while trying to post inbound idoc of message type COND_A.
If I left Usage & Condition field of segment E1KOMG then 'Table not available' idoc message is coming
and if providing value in above fields then dump is coming.
    How to solve ?
    Plz do reply
    Thanks
    Mohit

I do not see any reason why you would need to use COND_A04  if COND_A01 is working.
What if you could get COND_A04 to post and you would face the same result as in COND_A01?
If SAP does not check wrong values, then you have to do it yourself, or you report an incident at SAP (after you have searched for OSS notes that may have fixed this error already)
For example OSS Note 1169998 - IDoc: KONP-LIFNR values not checked
fixed a situation where the vendor number was not validated.

  • Creation of IDOC with message type INVOIC01

    Hi All,
I am trying to create a new IDOC with message type INVOIC01.
When I see transaction WE81, I observe that the required message type INVOIC is available. Also in WE82 the basic types INVOIC01, INVOIC02 and INV_ID01 are attached to the message type INVOIC.
However, while trying to create an IDOC in WE19 using a message type, I get options to create against INVOIC02 or INV_ID01. The basic type INVOIC01 is not getting populated because of which all the IDOC that I create are of basic type INVOIC02.
The client wants me to create IDOCs with basic type INVOIC01.
    Can anyone please help?
    Thanks in advance.
    regards
    Nagarajan

    Hi Nagaraj!
I've looked at the documentation and did not find information, which would help me. Should I use in my case z-segment to put extra lines or there is some qualifier in segment E1EDP02 (Document Item Reference Data), which triggers to another referencing (not PO or delivery note)?
    Thank You,

  • How to define reporting time types for 0HR_PT_2 to populate records in rsa3

    hi experts,
we are implementing Time and Labour and we are using info provider called 0PT_C01.
for that we have 2 data sources one is 0HR_PT_1 and 0HR_PT_2.
when i check in RSA3 there are records for 0HR_PT_1 Data source, but for 0HR_PT_2 data source it shows 0 records though the related info types have data.
i have checked in sdn for the solution, most of the replies are related to maintain Reporting Time Types.
can you please provide me step by step solution to maintain Reporting Time Types in ECC.
    Regards
    venuscm

    Hi Venu,
You can maintain reporting time types in SPRO,
SPRO > Integration with Other SAP Components -> Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse -> Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI) -> Human Resources -> Actual Employee Times OHR_PT_02 -> Define Reporting Time Types -> Maintain Reporting Time Types
Check with your HR team about maintaining reporting time types.

  • Custom Template for Third Party Balance Summary Report(Java type executable

Hi Al,l we have a requirment to have a layout with some of the fields from
Third Party Balance Summary Report( Which is a Java type executable and
Data definition has Data Template attached(.xml)).
    I tried in below way.
Coppied the Third Party Balance Summary Report program with same application and parameters
with. Then defined a Datadefinition with my concurrent prog short name
attached the same standard .xml file(Not sure what it is) and developed a custom template with
a custom rtf(excel output type), and submitted the program
the output is generated in excel but my custom .rtf layout is not getting applied
rather it is showing same layout as in standard.
Some thing I am missing here or else it is not the way of changing the
    template.
If any one know how to do this please let me know.
My client want only some files from the standard report(no need of new fileds)
    with output type xls.
    Thanks in Advance.
The same content is posted in Custom Template for Third Party Balance Summary Report(Java type executable sorry for duplicating the thread, just for increase the visibility for my issue I did this.

I gave up on using a different font or figuring out if I could use Times New Roman's built-in fractions visible in Font Book (as unicodes) and did a work-around based on Michael Wasley's tips in this discussion.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/11622842#11622842
I adapted it however and think it looks a little better.
Font: Times New Roman 12 point
I used the fraction bar in 12-point (Shift-Option-1) for automatic kerning.
For the numerator, I changed the font style to superior (12-point).
For the denominator, I changed the font style to subscript (Shift-Command-hyphen) and reduced the font size to half, or 6-point using the short-cut Shift-Command-<.
When the fractions occured in my footnotes (9-point), I used 4-point in the denominator; 10- and 11-point, I used 5-point in the denominator. This seemed to produce the best result when printing.
    Thank you, Michael.

  • 0HR_PT_2 How to get back historical data for new report time type

    Hi All Expert,
We have implemented and using the 0HR_PT_2 extractor for the past whole year. The Delta is working. Recently, there is requirement to read more data from the ZL custer table, and more new BW Report Time Types are added to extract such data.
The delta doesn't pick up the the past whole year data of the new report time type that we added.
Do we need to re-initialize the load to get back those historical data every time when we add a new report time type?
    Please advice and Thx

P.s, all hidden files are shown in es file explorer as this backup folder was hidden originally. It has a '.' in front. So I'm pretty sure the folder it's gone, but as I've not erased my phone again, shouldn't the folder be somewhere in my SD card still and how can I find it using my Mac?

  • Find the Alert Type and Alert Severity from SSLHandshakeException

I am using SSL connection and for some use I need to find out the alert type and its severity when it is thrown from the Java library.
    sslException.getAlertLevel() or sslException.getAlertSeverity()
Like if the level of severity is FATAL I need to take some steps on it, but I could not find from where I could get this information.

What part of 'all SSLExceptions are fatal' didn't you understand?
The fact that some SSL alerts are just warnings has no bearing on this, unless you have some counter-evidence that shows that warning alerts throw SSLExceptions too. Do you? The only two alerts I can find that can be warnings are 'close_notify', which is manifested as read() returning -1, not as an exception, and 'no_renegotiation', which as a quick search of this forum will show you is definitely treated as fatal by JSSE, as it is permitted to do by the RFC, and causes an SSLException.
    NB cross posted.

  • Custom Report Headings Type forces headings to initcap

    APEX V4.2.3.00.08
When I choose "custom" for my report headings type in a classic report they are forced to Initcap.  How do I have mixed case in a report heading?  I don't want words like "in","of" etc forced to initcap.  I don't think I've seen this problem before. Could be a bug in V4.2 ??

Is there some code I can put here that overides the inherent "Capitalization" without having to update the CSS file which contains the t13ReportHeader class?
You could, but it wouldn't be recommended. In 4.2, modify the page templates and add the following CSS override to the Inline CSS property:
    th.t13ReportHeader {

Why are you using such an ancient theme in 4.2?

  • Report with type Import

    Dear MDM Experts,
I would like to use MDIS to import files. The strange problem is, that the Reports (Console/Admin/Reports) with type Import doesn't show their Reports Details. The Reports with other types work fine.
An other tiresome working is when the port becomes blocked, and I use the Import Manager to fix the problem of the port, I have to set all the mapping, because the source file name is other (date and time of import is before its previous name), so the saved map can't recognize it.
Please help me, if you have been met these problems!
    Thanks and regards,
    Ádá

    Hi Adam,
    one way to see it:
    set
    Verbose=0xFFFF
as shown in chapter : MDM Import Server logging of
    HowToMonitorMDM_SP04.pdf
    from this zip file
    https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000394322007E
run your import and then check
    exception folder
inside you will find xml files - open them and check for XSD file link inside it
(search for this xsd file on your MDM server) and put it inside
the folder where this xml file was placed
now open XML once more and you should see HTML type import log

  • Can I set a default alert type in iCal?

For some reason all new events in my iCal (whether I create them, or someone invites me) have two alerts set by default:

  • Diff bet IDOC and Message Types.

What are the difference between IDOC and Message types.
    Diff between MATMAS01 ,MATMAS02 and MATMAS03

    IDOCs:
    - IDOC is an Intermediate Document. It is simply a data container used to exchange information between any two processes  that can understand the syntax and semantics of the data.
An IDOC is created as a result of executing an Outbound ALE or EDI process.
In an inbound ALE or EDI process, an IDOC serves as input to create an application document. When an IDOC is created in the system , an unique number(16 Digits) is assigned to it.IDOC will wait until the Remote System is Active.
Basic Idoc Type: Basic Idoc type defines the structure and format of the business document
that is to be exchanged between  two systems. Basic Idoc type can refer to an SAP provided
basic IDOC type or a customer developed basic IDOC type.
    - A basic IDOC type has the following characteristics:
Name : A basic Idoc type can be assigned upto a thirty character name.
List of permitted segments: The segments make up the IDOC structure.
Hierarchy of segments : The hierarchy of segments specifies the physical sequence and any parent - child relationship in the segments.
Mandatory Vs Optional Segments : When used in the IDOC type, each segment has an attribute that defines whether the segment  is option or mandatory. Minimum/Maximum range for each segment: It defines the maximum and minimum number of timesa data record corresponding to a segment cn exist in an IDOC.
-Segments : A segment defines the format and structure of a data record. Segments are reusable componets. A segment consists of various fields that represent data in data record.
    IDOC Record Types:
    1. Control Record : The control record contains all of the control information about an IDOC, this information basically includes the IDOC number, sender and receiver information, and information such as the message type it represents and the IDOC type.
    - there is only one control record per IDOC.
    - The stucture of the control record is the same for all the IDOCs and is defined by SAP.
    - The structure of the control record is defined by the data dictionary structure EDI_DC40. The control record is stored in the EDIDC table.
    2. Data Record : Data records contain the application data. A data record has two sections
Administrative Section and a Data section.
    - The Administrative section cotain the segment name, client, IDOC number, segment number, hierarchy level information.
    - The Data section of a data record is a stram of 1000 bytes where the actual data resides.
    - The data record is defined by the data dictionary structure EDI_DD40.
    - Data records for IDOCs stored in the EDID4 table.
    3. Status Record : Status records are attaced to an IDOC throughout the process as the IDOC achieves different milestones or encounters an error. At every milestone a statu code, date and time are assigned.
    - Status codes 01 to 49 are reserved for OUtbound process, 50 and above are reserved for inbound processes.
<u><b>IDOC TYPE IS AN INSTANCE OF IDOC</b></u>
Message Type: Identifies what type of information transformed between logical systems or partners.Message type is not   a   local object type , it is transportable.
For different applicatons we have different MESSAGETYPE.
    example:
    <u>APPLICATION</u>                <u>  MESSAGETYPE</u>
    MATERIAL MASTER                       MATMAS
    VENDOR MASTER                          CREMAS
    CUSTOMER MASTER                      DEBMAS
MATMAS01, MATMAS02, MATMAS03, MATMAS04, MATMAS05 are all MESSAGETYPES  ... FOR NEW VERSIONS LIKE SAP 4.7EE, SAP ECC5.0....we have to use MATMAS05 message type. for older versions like SAP R/3 we have to use MATMAS01.

  • RFC error "No authorization to send IDOCs with message type ..."

    Hi all,
I have now tried just about everything I could think of, applied all the notes mentioned on this forum but still no luck. Can anyone please help ...
I have got a file to idoc scenario, the status in the sxmb_moni is successful, but the outbound processing logs an error. When I go to transaction SM58 I get an error for the user XIAFUSER with the message "No authorization to send IDOCs with message type WPUUMS".
I have tried giving this user SA_ALL access and still got the same error thus concluding that this is not an authorisation error.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Liesel

    Hi Liesel,
The RFC destination that you have put in IDoc communication channel must be present in your SAP XI system, transaction SM59 also.
Please check if the user id/Password that you have given has all the authorization.
Also check the User ID and passwrord in SM59 in R3 and see if a Remote Login is possible.
There is also some configuration by which the clients are allowed / blocked from receiving Idocs from XI. Basis guys can do it for you. Please approach your basis consultant. Hopefully that helps..

Can you please help me understand what can be other reason why this IDOC does not get generated?

    Hello,
Did you try to debug the idoc generation program & where it fails to put together the internal data into IDoc?
That should help you identify problem.
If  configuration settings is correct ,port settings are correct & partner profiles are correctly mapped for necessary Idoc creation,it should work.
    Hope this helps.
