You can ignore these warnigns.
If you check trx DB14, click 'Function ID's you will see where each one comes from.

  • Warning in DB13 Check DB "BR0970W Database administration alert"

    Hi
We have an alert message in DB13 when we check the checkdb  log. Log details are as below
    BR0970W Database administration alert - level: WARNING, type: CRITICAL_FILE, object: /oracle/EPR/sapdata10/btabd_11/btabd.data11, value: (max_size) 30466040 KB (> 29439485 KB)
This warning is for all the datafiles; I did just give the sample log above.
Can you please suggest and help resolving this issue?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
The issue here is that there is no enough disk space for the datafiles to extend. In this case you can turn off the auto extend or Increase the disk space of sapdata10 or decrease the max_size or you can move some of the datafiles to other directory or filesystem.
You can turn off the auto extend while the database is online. After turning off the auto extend, you need to monitor the datafile/tablespace size periodically.

  • BR0978W Database profile alert - level: WARNING, parameter: LOG_BUFFER, val

    Dear SAP Gurus,
We are getting the following error in Check Database in DB13
    BR0978W Database profile alert - level: WARNING, parameter: LOG_BUFFER, value: 14254080 (>< 4096,512 KB)
    The current Parameter : 14254080
We have change the parameter as per SAP Note#830576, still the same error is comming.
    Kinldy Help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vijay,
Are you trying to change log_buffer to a smaller size and you can't? If you on Oracle 10g, you won't be able to reduce log_buffer as according to Oracle Metalink 351857.1, "The Log_buffer Default Size Cannot Be Reduced In 10g R2".
If you are concern about the warning in DB13, go to txn DB17 to change the condition will help to get rid of the warning.

    Hi Markus,
    Thanks for your reply.
I checked in SE14, the table VCSMONITOR is Transparent table and the Status is "Not Actve" (Exists in the database).
List of all indexes (constraints) of the table
                           Index name Unique Short description
    0          X      Primary index
                           There are no secondary indexes
Checked for this table/objec in ECC/SRM/BW systems, in SE14 it reports as "object does not exist".

  • Database operations are slow on motorazr

    Hi guys,
Database operation like setRecord and addRecord takes too much time in motorzr. Sometimes it take time in minutes which makes application unusable.

    hi Sm,
Check this below note for backup using brdb6brt
    326691 - DB6: 'BACKUP' & 'REDIRECTED RESTORE' of a DB2 UDB EEE DB
in DB13 there is an option -> Archive inactive log files to Device. Use this to backup into a disk
you can mount the USB dirve as a drive or a file system and take the backup to this location by specifying them while taking the backup.
You may also check this link for DB2 backup and restore

  • BR0978W Database profile alert - level: WARNING, parameter: DB_BLOCK_CHECKS

    Dear all:
Running the CheckDB in the transaction DB13 and i get the following
    message of error:
"BR0978W Database profile alert - level: WARNING, parameter: DB_BLOCK_CHECKSUM, value: TRUE (<> FALSE)"
    Other Details :-
    OS :- Win 2003 server
    DB :- Oracle 10g
So please help on this issue.
    Thanks.
    Regards

    Hi,
Oracle allows customers to use advanced block checking features to enable a higher protection against hardware and software problems.
Also with block checking/checksum turned on, it is absolutely necessary to verify your database. Enabling this feature will only find blocks which are touched (read into the SGA).
Advanced block checking can be enabled by setting either
    db_block_checksum = true
    or
    db_block_checking = true
The reason for this warning is given in the following SAP Note 923919 - Advanced Oracle block checking features
Default recommended by SAP is TRUE.
If this information is helpful please reward points.

  • Ifs-21030 Database operation timed out

    Hi,
We have installed cmsdk 9.0.4.2.2 with oas10g 10.1.2.0.2. The application runs fine, but sometimes we got the following error:
[AJPRequestHandler-ApplicationServerThread-6] ERROR cmsdk.CmsdkUtil - Error with gettting document
oracle.ifs.common.IfsException: IFS-21030: Database operation timed out
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation.
I have set the IFS.SERVICE.SESSION.DefaultSearchTimeoutPeriod, but it doesn't help. Normally the documents are displayed immediately, but when the error occurs, it can take 30 min or more. Mostly, but not always, the error occurs on monday morning, while getting the first or second document after the weekend in which the application is not used. Sometimes the first documents comes up immediately, and the second gives the error.
Are the parameters, agents, sessions, .. to configure to avoid this problem?
Can anyone help me with this?

  • "Invalid menu operation" Alert bug - CS6

    CS6.0.5
In the last couple of weeks I have started getting this alert:
I have tried to pay attention to what I have do to create this alert.
Occasionally it simply appears on opening a Project.
Reliably, it pops up when I hit Ctrl > z (undo), and Ctrl > s (save)...
but after clearing the alert, Ctrl > [Anything] does not make it reappear.
This happens regardless of the Project.
    edit:
I have just discovered that if I try to use File > Save
instead of Ctrl > s to save, the alert appears
as soon as I touch the File Menu header.
This also happens with the Clip, Title, Window & Help headers.
As in the replies in the thread below, there seems to be
no detriment to any functionality when this alert appears.
Maybe it's a fairly inconsequential bug, but it does appear to be a bug.
I had worked in CS6 for almost a year without this alert occurring.
Invalid Menu Operation Error in CS6
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4913886

Even if this errant "Invalid menu operation" alert is not
indicative of any real problem and does not seem to cause
any functionality problem within Premiere, it is still an obtrusive
alert that requires the extra steps to clear (at least once).
If not cleared, any 'real' alert would be missed since
all it will do is add a new entry to an un-cleared list.
Any suggestions aside from filing additional bug reports?

  • IFS-21030 Database Operation time out

    Hi everyone,
I really need help with this one. I try to search for a folder with a certain value for a custom attribute. It ALWAYS takes a very long time, but some times it returns successfully and sometimes it gives me a "Database Operation timed out" IFSException.
I tried to change the attribute setting to make it indexed, but it didn't help.
I'm using Oracle Files 9.0.2 (which, I think uses CM SDK 9.0.3, or at least this is the jar I'm using on the client side).
This doesn't happen with all folder queries, just the query where I use the
    FolderRestrictQualification.setMultiLevel(true)
Can anyone help me with this?

setMultiLevel(true) enables folder recursion, of course, which can be an expensive operation, depending on how many levels deep you need to go.
how many subfolders (and documents) are we talking about here?

  • How To Disable Verify Database Message Alert

How To Disable Verify Database Message Alert?
I have a VB6 open Crystal Reports using Crystal Reports XI R2 (SP5) and almost every time I open a report, I get an alert message about the table has been changed and I have to click "Ok" to make it goes away. Is there a way to  disabled this alert or set default to "Ok" so I do not have to  click this message every report. Thank you very  much.

    Hello,
You must verify if the database has changed so you can't disable the message. CR must match what the DB is using or the reports will fail or return wrong data.
It's odd that even after verifying the DB in the designer your app still needs it to be verify the report. You did save the report correct?
    Also:
    Dim CRApplication As CRAXDDRT.Application
    Dim Report As CRAXDDRT.Report
Is the report creation engine and you should be using craxdrt.dll. You need to be licnesed to use craxddrt.dll and this may cause problems for you later when deploying.
    Use:
    Dim CRApplication As CRAXDRT.Application
    Dim Report As CRAXDRT.Report
The mapping is not a switch you can turn on or off but it is Event driven. You need to add code to the viewer section to capture the event if the mapping event fires. Then you can set it to the way you want to use it.
I suggest you purchase a case on line and get to the Report Design team to figure out why when you verify the report your app still thinks it needs to be verified. Something going on in your report that the forum makes it difficult to debug the problem. You can't attach files to forums.
