Brading Image Not appearing in Portal Logon But appearing in /NWA /U

Hello Gurus ,
I am stuck up in a situation where in while doing the branding , I am able to see the branding image and text in
http://<SERVER>:<PORT>/NWA
http://<SERVER>:<PORT>/cms
http://<SERVER>:<PORT>/useradmin
But when I click on http://<SERVER>:<PORT>/IRJ
The red cross apears on the top woth no image being there . I am confused since what I did was changed the SAP stndard image name to branding-image1.jpg and Put My Image as branding-image.jpg .
this I did in both the folders - com.sap.portal.runtime.logon / layout
and com.sap.security.core.admin / layout
No changes were done in Visual Admin since the name of image is same as provided by SAP .
The worry part is if I click ln the Logon Page and check the properties : it shows
http://<Server>/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.runtime.logon/layout/branding-image.jpg
But when I go to http:/SERVER:PORT/NWA and see the image there properly and check the property of Image by right click :
it shows : http://XXXX/logon/layout/branding-image.jpg.
Now can someone tell . Why is there a mismatch ? Bcoz that is the reason I am not able to see the POrtal Branding Image .(In Visual admin we set the propeties as layout/BRANDING-IMAGE.jpg .. any connection there ??)...

The path in IRJ for images comes as :
http://<Server>/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.runtime.logon/layout/branding-image.jpg
Image does not come here
while in NWA
http://server:52100/logon/layout/branding-image.jpg
Image appears here ..
als under the folder
G:\usr\sap\XX1\JC21\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\portalapps\com.sap.portal.runtime.logon\layout
here are 2 images : branding-image.jpg
branding-text.gif
As you told me I added the file extension here now .jpg and .gif But no difference it maked .
I think the link here is that in Visual Admin it enters as layout/branding-image.jpg
Can I change this to Path as appearing in IRJ :
irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.runtime.logon/layout/branding-image.jpg
beacuse the layout file as shown is prefixed with a root ... If someone can point to the root of that I can go prefix with my Root folder and Give exact path like irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.runtime.logon/layout/branding-image.jpg ...
And Yes there are no other servers / Its a single Instance , no Cluster wide instances here .

Hi Experts,
I have created A Role and assigned Logon_help action to it and assigned the Role to Anonymous group.
So i have Logon Problem? Get Support link on Portal Logon Screen. When i click on it, i was asked to provide userid and email id.
I have entered them. i got a message the my userid is reset and sent to my mail. but havent received any mail, and the password is changed which have to log in as admin and reset the password.

Iphone icon dose not appear in ' My Computer' , but appears in Itunes.

Could someone help me out.
I am using the Windows XP platform.
I have an Iphone 8GB (1st Gen), initially the 'Iphone' icon would appear in 'My Computer', but recently it has stopped appearing! I have tried changing USB slots, reinstalled the driver, but it still dosent work.
Itunes has no problems detecting the Iphone. The problem now lies with the 'My Computer.

Reason I ask if you have pictures in your camera roll is because if you don't then there is nothing to transfer thus no reason for the iPhone to report out to Windows that it is a camera. Thus won't show up under My Computer as a camera/scanner and won't pop up the options of what to do.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

Flash not appearing in IE 8 but appears in all other browsers

I've inserted my flash swf file using Dreamweaver CS4 and it looks great and appears in all other browsers including IE 7 and IE6, but when I try to view it in IE8 nothing appears but a big blank white space. Can someone help me figure out how to make it appear in IE8 as well? Here is the page I've having trouble with.

Unable to see your Flash in IE6 on WinXP. Also, in IE6 your page is not centered. Possibly caused by code validation errors and the fact that some of your file paths are pointing to your local computer drive instead of the site. Specifically these.

Contact not displayed in address book but appears in mail merge list

Using Outlook 2013 to do a mail merge. Items in address book updated - some deleted, edited, etc. - appear correctly in Outlook. Using the import/export function in Outlook or the mail merge wizard in Word 2013 produce the same list of names - no deletes
or edits that were made in Outlook. Some items in Outlook were missing. I've tried adding them which appears to work but they do not show up in Outlook. Could there be 2 files?

Yes. I've deleted ALL contacts and resync'ed. I've deleted the number from both Google Contacts and the iPhone. I've tried adding just from Google Contacts and I've tried just adding on the iPhone. I've tried the number with the 1, without the 1, etc.

Images not showing up in Winhelp4 but do in Webhelp

I have a problem where my images don't show up in Winhelp4
format but do show up correctly in webhelp format.
I simply change the Primary Output in the project between the
two formats and compile the help. From the same source one works
(Webhelp) and one has broken images.
Are there any special tricks I need to know about to make
this work?

Hi Dyester
Winhelp is no supported on Vista
This is technically inaccurate. WinHelp 16 bit is supported
directly out of the box in Vista. WinHelp 32 bit isn't directly
supported out of the box. What happens is the first time a user
attempts to use a 32 bit WinHelp file, they are prompted to
download the WinHelp viewer for Vista. But it still works.
Microsoft is simply making it more painful to use WinHelp in
hopes that everyone will switch to .CHM or web based formats.

Signature is not showing in Quality Server but appearing in Dev. Server

Hi Experts,
I have created a Sap-script in which I have given Signature using SE78, creating the file in .BMP format and then using Inclulde command in SAP_SCRIPT editor.
Later we have send that Script to the Quality Server where that Signature is not appearing. Could please anyone tell me the coz and soluation of it.
Early responses are most welcome.

Thanks Amit for neat and clean reply for this issue. Yes the problem was that this logo was not available in the Quality system and later I used SE78 and given the same name which was present in the Layout Include command.
Do I need to repeat the same step for Live Server also ?
Please suggest.

Image not shoing up in IE but fine in FF

If you go to our homepage here http://www.rugged-cctv.com/ in FF the flash player at the top and the RuggedCams Blog button close to the bottom show up just fine.
The button at the bottom I'm looking at looks like this and it's just a regular jpeg image.
But if you go to the same webpage in IE the blog button at the button comes up as a red X, and the flash player at the top shows up as an empty white box. If you go to any other page on our website in IE, and then back to the homepage the flash player shows up just fine, but the Blog button at the bottom still doesn't.
I've reuploaded the page and all dependent files several times to fix a few other minoir glitches but these two things are still thwarting me.
Anyone have any ideas? Need the image to show up but the flash player is what is really buggin me.

The issue with http://www.rugged-cctv.com/images/Bloglogo.jpg is that it's saved in CMYK mode.
Firefox and Chrome can read CMYK images. IE cannot.
In your image editor (Photoshop or Fireworks or whatever) convert it to RGB (Image > Mode > RGB in Photoshop), re-save it and upload it.

Album art is not appearing on my iPad but appears when plugged into iTunes.

Having a major issue: I have about 8000 songs accumulated on my iPad Mini 3 with Retina display [running iOS 8.2] from my main computer in a different country. All my album art used to appear and everything was all well and good until I plugged my iPad into my MacBook Pro this morning to charge. While charging, I made one small spelling correction to an album error, at which point my iPad started to sync and then all the album art disappeared from my iPad. When I play the music in iTunes with my iPad connected, the album art appears in the small square at the top but whenever I play it on my iPad, there is no album art.
Is there a fix to this inconvenient issue? I'd appreciate your help!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Restart your mobile device.

Images not loading in forefox 4, but does in safari ect

hi i am building a website and since installing firefox 4 a png image which links to a lightbox and video has vanished!!
i can see it on safari and google chrome ie ect i do not understand why.

Event not showing up in editor but appears in package contents

I have a weird scenario where one of my events is not showing up in a library. I have a simple library with the following events:
Interviews
B Roll
Edits
When I open final cut, I only see the B-Roll and Interviews event. The Edits one is missing. When I right click on the library in my finder and select show package contents, I can see all 3 events. No clue why one isn't showing up.
I tried renaming it. I tried setting up a new library and copying over. Neither worked.
Any suggestions?

What happens when you open package contents and click on "edits"? Does it havea filder that says "original media" and when you click on that one can you see video clips?

Pending 'stuck' print jobs don't appear in Mac interface but appear in CUPS

We use a product called Equitrac to manage/authenticate print jobs from the OSX 10.6 workstation through to our Windows print server. When a print queue gets stuck on the 10.6 workstation the jobs do not appear within the native Mac printing interface, you have to log into the local CUPS web server to see the jobs and manage them. Here is a screen shot.

For an AD login with the Mac this would typically mean the users would be using managed accounts rather than local admin accounts. Since the printer proxies are at a system level then this could also mean the managed account has no rights to view the printer proxy. A test would be to log in to the Mac with an account that has Admin rights on the Mac and then see if the print jobs are visible in the printer proxy.
