Branching courses are having a difficulty marking as complete because all slides are not viewed?

I have a number of courses that have branching slides in them. Because of the branching the user may not go to all of the slides. When the user completes the course, the course says that it is in progress and the user gets the blue in progress icon on their "My Training" page. When the course is playing you can see that the Table of Contents also does not show the module as complete as well. I am wondering what can be done to resolve this issue.

Your issue is likely to be that since users do not visit all slides then the slide completion falls below a percentage that is required.
If you're not worried about exporting to HTML5, then the TickTOC widget might provide the answer.

You specify slides in the widget that will be marked as complete even if they were never visited. This means those slides will be marked off as visited in the TOC and will also be credited to the user at the end of the project. In your case I would suggest you place the TickTOC widget on the second last slide of the project (not the last slide) and set it to mark off all previous slides in the project.

How to delete webintelligence objects that are not viewed

Hi,
I need to find a way to delete the objects that have not been viewed in the last 12 months. We are using Business Objects XI 3.1 here. I've already looked for this feature around a lot of sites and foruns, but I still have not found anything.
We have over than 2.500 webintelligence objetcs in our environment. A lot of them are useless. So we would like to clean up the reports that are not viewed by the users. Maybe we would use this feature one time every year.

We decided to clean up the old documents taking a look to their last modified date. It'll be easier and we won't loose important documents. That is gonna be enough for us.

Indicators are not viewed

in p6v7 Indicators cannot be viewed !
I've created UDF to use indicator but when that UDF is used in layout , indicators are not viewed on the screen (words coming out)
is there any option or something like that to make it work on the screen?
and also I'd like to get indicators on he print out .

just a little question: is your notebook working properly. (Except this indicator thing)? If yes, you have two options:
1. You can accept it.
2. You can try another AC-Adapter (if available)
3. You can try it without battery inserted. Just remove it.

Otherwise I have no suggestion for you since I really dont know whats wrong with your machine but I assume that something with your powersystem is not OK.

NETg Courses are not updating Assessment scores in OLM

Did you create a new profile for that 4.0 beta version?
Do you still have the regular Firefox 3.6.8 version installed?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Tables are not viewed in TOAD

Hello,
I installed 9i and imported database. Then I installed TOAD.
On opening TOAD, the respective tables of the database are not shown. Just shows Cnt:0 in the bottom.

Are you sure that you log as user who owns the respective tables?

When downloading iTunes U content from MIT OCW, the courses are not listed in proper order.

The only sort/play orders are "Oldest" and "Newest," neither of which are the correct order for the lectures.

I still have this problem also. Someone at Apple suggested I create a playlist and sort it manually. I did this but then couldn't pull up the playlist in iTunes U or music. For my courses it makes the app impractal. There are usually about 120 sections in each class to sort throughto find the next section.

When I've opened iTunes U for the first time it started to synchronise some courses. Some of them are old courses that probably I subscribed from my Mac in the past and that are no more present in my Mac.
I've tried to sync iTunes U in iTunes but these old courses still are present on iPad Mini.
How can I remove them from the iPad?

Courses have to be deleted / unsubscribed from individual devices. (I believe this is to avoid personal data loss, such as course notes and such.)
If you really want to remove the course, follow these steps on your iPad:
Go to the course list
Tap "All Courses" at the top (if you have a teacher-enabled account)
Drag the list down until the Edit button appears
Tap Edit
Select the courses you want to remove
Tap Delete

Combining 2 computer iPhot0 4 + 6 - pics are not viewing

I am trying to combine 2 macs. The old one has iPhoto 4 and the new one iPhoto 6. When I link the 2 together with a firewire - I see the iPhoto library get copied over. But iPhoto 6 cannot see the files. The new machine has 4 separate drives. One is assigned to be the iPhoto library. When I look at the directory structure in iPhoto 6 - I see the year folders below the data folder. I see all the previous year folders (from the other machine) at the same level as the data folder. I have made sure the folders have read and write access. I have tried moving as well as importing the folders - both give me an "unreadable" error. The jpg files are there - and seem to be fine. Any suggestions?

Do you have photos in both libraries that you want or are you just trying to convert the iPhoto library to iPhoto 6 - if that is the case quit iPhoto, move the iPhoto library from the pictures folder on your new mac to the desktop and drag the old iPhoto library intact into the pictures folder then launch iPhoto - it will find you r library if it is not corrupted adn convert it

*it is highly recommended that you do not modify the contents of the iPhoto library in any way via the finder or any other program that is not fully iPhoto aware* - this could be the cause of your problem - you may want to re-drag the iPhoto library from your old mac to the new mac pictures folder and try again with a fresh copy of the iPhoto 4 library

after the latest update version 25, there is always a white background
even the firefox addon transparent-standalone-imag doesn't work

It seems I found a workaround.
You need to install Greasemonkey, go to this link:
https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/153158
(Standalone Image Background and Transparency) and install script. After that you can change background options of standalone images.
I always thought that dirty gray background, instead of transparency, was something like a bug, but it is just retarded feature =/

AICC Course Completions are not writing back to LSO

We are on LSO 602 and we have both SCORM and AICC courses. We have implemented the Single SCO Badi w/ the sample code that was provided. This has helped solve the problem w/ the Single SCO completion progress, but we are having problems now w/ the AICC courses.
AICC courses are not writing anything back to the LMS (we can see this through the API log while playing the courses in AE). Now, when a student takes an AICC course in the portal, passes it, and confirms participation, they are followed up as Failed and Confirmed Participation. The completion specification infotype specifies that 0% of the Learning Objects is required to pass the course.
This has made it unclear as to whether we can use the standard implementation of teh Single SCO Badi in conjunction with AICC courses.
Has anyone had success w/ AICC courses writing completion back to SAP LSO correctly? And has anyone has success w/ AICC courses while the Single SCO Badi is implemented?

We do have the same problem. We implemented interface to a vendor for aicc courses and once course is completed they are sending as 100% completion to our CP but SAP tables are not updated at all. Did you firgured it out what's the solution for your problem

We have similar courses around here - much more traditional, like Phoenix CC, where the old Phoenix Open used to be played, in the pre-TV days - everything, regardless of time-o-year is green, and fairly lush. However, there are probably more "desert target courses," where the area surrounding the fairways, the teeing area and the greens, are left natural (obviously High Sonoran Desert here). On those, a shot into the rough is really "into the rocky desert," and many such courses have a local rule - one stroke penalty and drop on the edge of the nearest fairway. I also carry my "desert 7-iron," for shots that CAN be played from the desert, in hopes that I can save that one stroke penalty - sometimes that works, but sometimes it does not... My regular partner lets me carry 15 clubs - the regulation 14, plus the desert 7. However, I must loan it to him, should it be needed. Works for me.
One other "feature," that we see around these parts is the dead grass ring around many bunkers. The grass is allowed to initially grow, then is killed, making it easier for a ball in that area to fall INTO the bunker, and any sand shot, that does not clear that ring, will come right back into the bunker. This treatment is intensified just before a tournament, but exists, at some level, for most of the season.
When people see such a course on TV for the first time, they puzzle over what they are looking at.
Also, the trees around such courses are not what most folk think of, when imagining a golf course. I remember some folk from the US Mid-west complaining that the TCP Scottsdale course (WM Phoenix Open) was hokey and Disneyesque, since they cut down all the trees, and planted stupid cactus everywhere. Well, what they missed was that the cactus are native, and while a few had been moved to allow for the fairways, they were replaneded in as natural a location, as possible - the trees are either palo verde, or mesquite, and are also natural. The course basically used the natural contours of the desert, and the natural growth. Odd to many eyes.
Now what angers me is that there is one tree on our big desert hole, #7, and I always seem to be behind that - I mean ONE TREE! Sort of like Rod's Big Green Frog.

Don't rely upon Time Machine to the exclusion of all else. I compliment Time Machine with a periodic "clone". TM is much better than nothing, but it's a safety net, not a hammock
Here is my understanding of Time Machine's file deletion algorithm, distilled from Pondini's FAQ, Apple's KB articles, and my own observations.
Time Machine deletes ("thins") files from the backup disk as follows:
Hourly backups over 24 hours old, except the first backup of the day
Daily backups over 30 days old, except the first backup of the week
Older backups get deleted when Time Machine requires space and you deleted them from the source disk.
Therefore, assuming TM has been performing at least one backup per day, backup files will remain available:
at least thirty days, if they existed on your Mac for at least a day
until you run out of space, if they existed on your Mac for at least a week
In addition to the above, Time Machine always keeps one complete copy of your source disk so that the entire volume could be restored if necessary. Any files that remain on your source volume will be present on the TM backup, no matter how old they are.
If you are using 250 GB of space on your source disk, its Time Machine backups are likely to require at least twice that much. A good estimate of the minimum required backup volume size would be about three times the size of your source disk - 1.5 TB in your case.
A more thorough explanation would require Pondini since he has plumbed Time Machine's mysteries far more than I have.
