Brand new computer; windows 8; Acrobat XI Standard freezing constantly

I edit pdf's. Important for my work. I have customized my tool bar. It is never saved. And attempts to edit regularly cause program to freeze. Cannot even draw a square. Have updated and "repaired" installation. Nothing seems to work. Lot of $$ and i am worse off than before. I do not do or make anough to justify subscription. Sad and frustrated in North Dakota.

Interestingly enough, I find I can take a previously created rectangle, copy and paste. Then I can change location, dimensions, color, thickness, etc. This is a seriously awkward work-around, but progress, nevertheless!

Now remove all your info and update the old AppleiD/iTunes account and use only that account.
You cannot transfer items between iTunes accounts.
You can redownload all the content.

Might be worth tearing down the whole iTunes install and starting over...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Can someones can help me? My computer is brand new. I've just received it yesterday from Lenovo. Lenovo T540p with Win7Pro + i7 core + 8Gb ram. Yesterday I've completed all my update from Windows Update. I did not make any hardware install on the
computer except that I use an external USB HDD and an external logitech wireless mouse. For these two devide, I use the built-in windows driver. Nothing happens yesterday When I've used it. The problem occurs only tonight.

Hi all,Thanks for your reply. I've got an update. the many BSOD (all with different problem) was due to a RAM Problem that was intermitent. The Ram module was not installed properly. I correct the installation and everything goes fine after that. Thanks

According to the dump file, most of BSOD code is different. However, according to one of dump file, BSOD caused by norton sys file.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Internet Security\NortonData\21.3.0.12\Definitions\VirusDefs\20140904.001\EX64.SYS
According to my experience, your system crash events most probably caued by Norton application and you can try to disable or uninstall it temporarilly for test.
If BOSD problem disappeared, it should be Norton problem. If problem still exists, please provide new dump file to us.

Why, if it told you you have insufficient space on your computer, would it suggest making more space available on your phone?
At a guess, you have insufficient space on your phone. Installing software will typically require more space than the final size of the software, perhaps even twice or three times as much, for the installation process. You can easily dump some videos or music temporarily, and then synch them back in afterwards.

New computer-windows 7; old computer DW 2004

Question: What will happen to my 1,000 webpages that I made in 2003 on my old XP computer now that I have a new computer Windows 7 that I cannot put the disc to Macromedia DW2004 in and register it again.
Adobe told me I cannot even upgrade unless I have Version 8. Mine is only Version 7. I dont know when they bought DW, but now I dont have the money to buy the $399 new version.
Can some one tell me If I can find an old Version 8 to upgrade to the Adobe version, will my 1,000 pages of files transfer over, if i did upgrade to a Version of Adobe DW? Is the format a lot different, and how would I do that; How would I get the pages and all those years of work if I cannot even put the old disc into the new computer?

This is news to me. Inserting CD in the drive requires a serial number but this is not the same as Activation. However, since you are going to upgrade soon don't worry about it.
Your 1,000 pages can easily be copied on to a flash/pen drive on your USB port and this can be used as a backup. You may not know this but the website files are very simple text files and you can read then and change them by using Windows Notepad or something similar.
Sharepoint Designer is a program that can help you edit your files; very much like DW is doing for you ate the moment. I find sharepoint better than DW! I also get a free edition of Microsoft Expression (currently version 4) because I contribute to their forums quite a lot under different guises! If price is the factor than clearly M$ product wins all the time. DW has many extensions while M$ products don't have any.

Looks like FF tried to import some BM's from the Virtual XP installed, but did not get it any where near right. I need to completely delete all of them and install from a saved .html file.

Well, I did not see the exact problem that I was having listed in the articles, BUT the problem is solved for now.
I opened FF and the Bookmarks to Organize again. I deleted all of the folders and entries, ONE AT A TIME, AND IT WORKED. Evidently, for what ever reason, FF did not like "Batch" deletes of ANY amount greater than 1 and the HANG UP would occur.
Deleting one at a time then importing the good .html from a good file, loaded the wanted Bookmarks. Yea

I downloaded Lion on my iMac. It apparently cleaned out the hard drive. Nothing shows up from before. It looks like a brand new computer. It is backed up on Time machine. Any idea of why this happened and suggestions on restoring? Thanks.

I downloaded Lion on my 4 yr old iMac. The download stalled at the last minute so I clicked "CANCEL". When it was restarted, Lion was there, with no apparent option but to go ahead and install so I assumed it was okay. Didn't transfer data from "another computer" when prompted - assumed it would transfer from that computer. It apparently cleaned out the hard drive. It looks like a brand new computer. None of my apps, programs, files, or thousands of photos.   It is backed up on Time machine, but it's a sickening sight. Any idea why this happened and suggestions before restoring? Thanks.

I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots.

Nothing gets imported. Simply restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the new/restored computer.
Download and install iTunes from Apple's website.
The first time iTunes is launched, assuming the ENTIRE iTunes folder is restored to the correct location, it will launch and be exactly as it was prior to the comptuer issues. If for some reason this does not work, close iTunes, hold the SHIFT key while launching iTunes and a prompt will appear to choose or create a new iTunes library. At this point simply point iTunes to the correct location for the existing iTunes library.
