Brand New Desktop Giving Error Code - Critical Corruption

I just bought a HP All in One Touch 21 - 2014 computer. I have had it less than a day, and I just received an error message of "critical structure corruption" randomly, and it shut itself down. Should I take this computer back and receive a replacement? I only have 14 days through Best Buy to do so. I do not want a new computer that is going to keep having errors. Can anyone help me?
I have not installed any extra hardware or anything. It came with 8.1 on it, so I did not install that myself.

You might want to read through this thread for a remedy. Frankly, if the PC runs this way out of the box and HP doesn't have a solution then I would return the PC.
You can find the HP drivers here. Try the chipset driver first the reboot and monitor. If that doesn't solve the issue then try the MEI driver.

Run "Permissions Repair" and a clean up before and after each major update; e.g. 10.6.5 -> 10.6.7.
Update to 10.6.8 too, as 10.6.7 is a bit sluggish.
I've never delete, format or reinstall since 2008 and performed just a system disk swap from the old MacBook to the new one when my 2011 MacBook Pro arrived.
That was like eating a pie.
Open old one, pull disk. Open new one and changed disk's. Startup and waiting 3 minutes for completing hardware detection. Performed all necesary updates. Cleaned system, doing a permissions repair, reboot and my system runs as designed and expected.
Needless to mention that I have NO issues and everything on my new MBPro runs fine, fast and smooth.

What are you trying to download? Are you getting an error code?

BEA Portal 8.1 Sp4 - Cannot Create new Desktop - DB Error Returned?

Please help.
We are trying to migrate to streaming portal, and are encountering a problem. It appears to be a new problem as it wasn't coming up last week.
Under the Weblogic Admin Portal, I create a Portal. Success
- I then try to create a Desktop using a Portal Template File.
- I select the Portal file we have, and the only Portal file from the dropdown.
- I click "Create New Desktop"
- When the popup displays "WARNING: Portal Template Contains Duplicate Resources" comes up, if I select "Replace conflicting Portal Resources" or "Replace Markup" it fails.
The Javascript alert says (or tries to say)
Error: The desktop could not be disassembled.
Data exception -- row already exist in index AX1_PAGE_DEF on table PF_PAGE_DEFINITION
Any idea what is going on? We haven't taken this a step further due to this problem.
Before you suggest:
- We haven't been doing anything fancy.
- I have not gone into PointBase manually (I wouldn't know how)
- By all accounts it appeared to be working fine, and then it stopped.
Current Setup
- BEA Weblogic 8.1 SP4
- "Production" Domain using JRockit SDK
- Currently using the workstation's PointBase database for the Admin tools.

You might have already checked it but just in case, did you check the server console when this happens ?
If there is any problem with the template file, it doesnt create a desktop even though it doesnt complain about this explicitly in the Portal Admin.

CS4 install from desktop failure - error code 1612

I have a problem with DreamWeaver in CS4 which I've tried to correct using a desktop install. That's where I received the error code 1612.
The problem in DreamWeaver is: that the properties panel in cs4 DreamWeaver doesn't completely display. the second line of information (beginning with css, ID, Link etc) seems to be cut in half. The page properties button below shows fine. Other panels seem ok. It's been this way since I upgraded to cs4.
I've changed my screen resolution up and down and it has no effect.
It was suggested that I do a new install from the desktop - which is where I receive the error.
Any help would be appreciated.

Tried to install creative cloud update on windows 8.1. Got error code 50. Tried again then unistalled old creative cloud and tried new install. got error code 50 again.

Brand new X1 Carbon - big issue - screen corruption in BIOS/boot, constant rebooting and BSOD

Hi all,
I got a new X1 Carbon mid March and am now having pretty severe problems with it. It first started a few days ago with this within Windows:

I rebooted it and it came good. Now today, it did it again so I rebooted it and it started not being able to boot. It would get to the first Lenovo screen where it says 'Press enter to interrupt normal startup' the screen would go corrupted and it'd reboot.
So I went into the BIOS to run Lenovo Diagnostics and whenever I press enter on Lenovo Diagnostics it just reboots again. Sometimes when it reboots, the green light on the power button flashes a few times, the keyboard flashes and then it all goes dark and does that for 5-10 times before booting.
Now most times (say 19/20 times) it tries to boot, it does 'Preparing automatic repair' but it is frozen and as you can see below it is broken:

Out of the 1 of 20 times it manages to get into Windows, I get:

In terms of specs, this is the highest end X1 Carbon with the i7, 2580x1440 touch screen, 8gb RAM and 512gb ssd if that helps at all?
The model# specifically is: 20A7-A008AU with a S/N of R9-009TXX (last 2 digits truncated).
All I have done so far is managed to update the BIOS before it crashed again. It has the latest version now from the Lenovo website, mid-March build I think. The drivers etc are all standard but it wouldn't be driver related as the reboot/corruption etc happens before Windows as well. I presume the 'preparing automatic repair' is a Windows function, but the same symptoms happen within the BIOS etc. I haven't got a photo of that as it reboots before I have the chance to snap a pic.
I've lodged a job with IBM (for some reason it redirects to IBM when you go to lodge a service call, is this normal?) but am hoping someone else knows of a quicker fix for me because it's difficult for me to be without a laptop due to my work.
If this is a replace job -- which I imagine it is as it seems to be hardware related to me, how often does that typically take in Australia?

I just got told that I have to wait 72 hours before I can lodged the claim because that is how long it takes to reflect that I upgraded the warranty. Even though I only bought the laptop brand new 3 weeks ago!
What a waste of $334 to extend the warranty this morning. Be warned all that if you upgrade it for the hope for a quicker fix you have to wait 72 hours for Lenovo to know you upgraded the warranty to next day onsite fix despite having the invoice etc for it and they won't even lodge a normal warranty claim because there is a new one coming!
I asked for a service number and got told I can't have one because they won't lodge the claim until the warranty database is updated! 3 week old laptop. Sometimes I wish I got a Mac so I could just go into the Apple Store and swap it there on the spot.

I'm having trouble updating the Creative Cloud desktop app (Error code: 62)

I'm having trouble updating the desktop app. The application updater says its error code 62.
Running on Mac OS X 10.9.5.

Brand new nano 7th gen, firmware file corrupt, running windows 7

brand new nano 7th gen, running windows 7, on first plugin I get the message "the ipod XXXX could not be updated because the firmware file was corrupt" The strange thing is that it gave my nano a name - maybe confused with an old ipod??

I have the same issue. IPOD just arrived, connected to itunes, corrupt!

NiFgen initialize giving error code -1074135030

Hi everyone,
I am trying to use niFgen Initialize.vi and when my vi runs it produces the pop up error along the lines of "Cannot find nijelu.dll" and then throws the error code -1074135030 in the niFgen Initialize vi. It reads "niFgen Initialize.vi<ERR>Failure loading driver module." I checked in max and my device reads properly, I have a PXI system using the NI-PXI6133 card. Labview is version 8.5. Any ideas?

Hi KC,
After searching other customer issues, the best explanation would be a driver installation error. You said you were using LabVIEW 8.5, but what version of NI-FGEN are you using? You may need to uninstall and reinstall the driver by going to Add/Remove Programs in your control panel or even download the newest version of NI-FGEN (2.5) from this link. There were other errors associated with loading nijelu.dll due to the NI-TClk driver which installs with NI-FGEN. This again should be fixed by upgrading to a new driver. Please let me know if this information is helpful!

Desktop software error codes 0x8004104c and 0x8004fcd6

Until yesterday I have been using desktop software to sync with Outlook and it has worked perfectly well. Now suddenly my contacts and tasks have synced OK but the calendar will not. I am getting the error medssage: "Error encountered. Error code 0x8004104c. Check documentation". Yesterday I got the same message with a different code: 0x8004fcd6.
I am using Windows 7, Outlook 2003 SP3 and Desktop Manager 5.0.1.37. My device is Blackberry Curve 8520.
The error messages both say "check documentation" but what documentation? I have searched high and low and can find no reference at all to either of these codes. These sort of messages are an inexcusable cop-out, particularly when the company itself makes itself impossible to contact without the threat of charges,
Please, can anyone help with an explanation of these error codes, and some guidance about solving the problem?

Desktop Manager Error Code: 0x80040fb3

Recently during sync I get the subject error code. It occurs while updating the contacts portion of the sync process, the first, so sync never completes. Has anyone experienced this error code? If yes, what was the fix.
I am using Desktop Manager Ver, 5.0.1.37
I also had set sync for Outlook to overwrite all Device information, since I had to 'restore' my Storm.

This issue may be caused by one of the following reasons:
One or more of the contacts in the contact list is missing information or has invalid characters in the First, Last, or Company name fields.
The Attendee status field cannot be read in a calendar item on Microsoft Outlook.
Tasks were edited in Microsoft Outlook and the changes were accepted during the synchronization process.
