Brand New iPhone 5c; iOS 7.1; Does not recognize any devices over Bluetooth
I want to pair my Plantronics bluetooth (Pro HD) headset, to my iPhone 5c (running iOS 7.1, updated). Unfortunately the device is not being discovered, in fact all bluetooth devices are not detected in the search.
I didn't have any problem with my iPhone 4. I tested another Plantronics headset, and it didn't scan properly either (put it pairs with other phones). The iPhone 5c is in a search loop (for lack of a better word).
Are there any tricks? I already turned Bluetooth on then turned it on again. I turned the phone off and on again. Neither helped any bit.

TS2756 iOS personal hotspot does not let any device connect after a connection from a 5 GHz band
I used my iPhone 5 with latest iOS version. When I connect my iphone to a 5GHz band at home and then ON the Personal Hotspot (PH), my ipad mini retina can't connect to the wifi of the iphone, it said "Unable to connect". I tried it with my laptop and got the same result. But if I disconnect it from the 5GHz and reconnect to a 2.4GHz band (at home too), then turn on PH, it will let other device connect normally.
I know that I can solve the problem by connect to a 2.4GHz and then turn on PH. But the problem is when I go out, every wifi around me is password protected, and I need to share PH to my laptop. it just won't connect. Do a Network reset solve the problem too, but when I come back home and connect to my 5GHz band, the problem still raise, PH will not let any device connect to it until I connect my iphone to a 2.4GHz and then turn on PH again.Hi, thanks for your answers.
I have tried bluetooth tethering and it does work, but often i find has the same issue after a few minutes or if i let my device sleep, i have to reinitiate the hotspot. Whats worse is that i can go into the hotspot settings sometimes and it says "NOW DISCOVERABLE!" but nothing can see it, not my iPad, not my laptop, nor any other wifi enabled device until i toggle Hotspot off and on again.
Also, distance is an issue. Occasionally I like leaving my iPhone to charge on my desk to charge as tethering beats the battery up and if i go to the room next door, the bluetooth drops. If i don't come back within range in a few seconds, the hotspot becomes undiscoverable and I have to go through the process again. Overall this has not been a feasible solution for my issues.
As for resetting the network settings, I had to do this initially when I upgraded to iOS 5 as the Personal hotspot setting disappeared entirely. I had to do a full network reset, and reboot my handset once more for Personal hotspot to even return as a usable option but it didn't help the flakiness. This isn't an iOS 5 new issue though, as i said, it's been happening since 4.3...
All these super annoying first world pains eh? Again, thanks for your feedback but it doesn't help my particular issues. -
Must have OS 10.6.5 to be compatible to the iphone 5 but the computer does not recognize the device
I downloaded OS X 10.6.5 in order to sync my new iphone 5 to my mac. After doing so the computer does not recognize the iphone. I switched the backup from iCloud to sync to the computer when plugged in but nothing happens.
If the Software Update application is not in your Applications folder, then apparently you've inadvertently done away with it. Downloading and installing the standalone Combo Update, as the previous poster has suggested, may install a new copy of it. If it doesn't, you can reinstall it from your original OS installer DVD using Pacifist:

My new Dell PC running Windows 8 does not recognize my iPad or iPhone. Worked OK for iPhone for months but would not work for new iPad. I removed /relaoded iTunes and now it won't recognize either iPad or iPhone. Got any suggestions?

Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that points to a hardware problem. Yu can make an appointment at the the Genius Bar of an Apple store or try:

My iPhone 6 iOS 8.2 does not print on HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw.
It displays "No AirPrint Printers Found."
Same thing for iPhone 5S iOS 8.2.
Both iPhone and printer on the same wifi network.
I tried printing from different applications. AirPrint does not work.

I have run into a peculiar problem with the Safari browser on mobile platforms (IPad, IPod, IPhone) which I hope I can find a solution for in this community.

On this particular product, the product variants are supposed to work in such a way where:
If you select the value "1/8" from the "Choose Ribbon Width" field
THEN
The only options active and available to choose from in the "Choose Roll Size" field should be: 500 Yds, 20 Yds & Sample Swatch
Now, if we browse to the above link in Safari using a desktop or a laptop, there are no problems at all, but if we browse to the above link using an IPhone or an Ipad, then we have a problem where all the options are available regardless of the values chosen, basically the above functonality does not work.
I was told that there an issue with Safari in Iphones and Ipads where it does not recognize option disabled="disabled" tag properly, is this true? Can anyone advise me if there is a solution to this problem? I would sincerely apperciate it.

When updating the iOS, you have to pair your phone again to the Jabra. You just have to enable discovery mode on the Jabra and go to settings on iphone

Ask the carrier in the US who the phone is locked to if they will unlock it for you - put an unlock request into that carrier.
Other than that and if they refuse to unlock it, then there is nothing you can do except buy a new phone. -
I have an iphone 5s and it is synced to itunes and works fine. previously I have downloaded audiobooks to my wifes 6th gen nano using this account - now I tunes does not recognize the device and also it seems that it is not being read by the computer?

I have reset my iphone and made sure all updates have been done on my macbook pro and iphone. It was after updating my macpro that I plugged in my phone and went to itunes to backup phone and can't see the device anywhere! I have also done all the troubleshooting that apple.com recommended too...all except re-installing itunes!
