Brand new ipod Not working!!! =[ Help please...

Ok I downloaded the latest version of Itunes, I reset the Ipod, but for some reason my computer when I conect the usb cable the "found new hardware" windows pops up, I do not have a software to install for Ipod and the only thing I can find on the website are manuals to download, also my Itunes won't even see the Ipod hooked to the computer, nothing happens, can someone please help me?

Could you please describe how you are trying to delete a single text message and it will not work? What are you seeing in place of the trash can icon?

Try closing all apps in Multitask Window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.
3. The app will fly off the screen

ok ill tell the whole history i bought an ipod 30 gb when i got home with my ipod i plug it to my pc and my pc never detected it (I installed itunes before plug my ipod) and itunes detected either so next day i went to macshore where i bought it they took it and puted it on a idock then my ipod started and charged for 20 mins and the guy of macshore didnt know what to tell me why my ipod didnt work in home and my wiere is not the problem cuz it works fine with my brother's ipod nano

You might want to make sure that iTunes 7 was
properly installed, (Help > About iTunes) and that
your computer does have USB 2.0 ports.
Older USB ports on the computer can make it really
difficult for the iPod to make a connection.
Is the iPod displaying the Do Not Disconnect screen,
when it is plugged in?

IPod 2nd Generation Internal Speakers Not Working - HELP PLEASE!

A couple of days ago my ipod's internal speakers stopped working, the volume control dissapeared and no sound was coming out. Now, when i have my headphones in, music will be playing but every so often they will cut out and again, the volume control bar will dissapear. I then have to remove the headphones and put them back in. I've tried resetting the ipod and turning it on and off, no change.
Any help to solve it please? or is this the end of my trusty ipod?

Welcome to the discussions,
try to restore "as new ipod", don't use your backup to get your settings back to your ipod, it may contain the corrupt files causing this problem.
Make sure you transferred your purchases and synced your contacts/calendars before you start.

Help with ipod classic 80gb 2nd new ipod not working

I need some help with my ipod, this is the second ipod I have had in the same number of weeks the first one worked fine for about 8 days and then when syncing one night it froze and then would not disconnect, I searched the support section and worked how to reset the ipod which | did many times, in the end I restored the ipod to the factory settings and synced again the end result of this was that the ipod would not turn on despite everything that I tried. The apple log would appear and the ipod would then try desperatley to switch itself on with the apple logo appearing and disappering all the time. Apple have replaced the ipod and I have fully charged the new ipod synced it this evening all was ok, the ipod synced and then told me to disconnect and the same thing is happening again I have tried to reset multiple times and all that happens now is the apple logo appears and disappers it will not switch on or off, itunes keeps telling me that it cannot recognise the ipod at this time and the safely remove section on my task bar on my computer is telling me that the ipod has malfunctioned. can anyone help? am I doing something wrong someone suggested that I should have downloaded itunes once I had my ipod and not before, I have about 20GB of music in itunes and I was not aware that you needed to use or own an ipod to use this music storage system

well it looks like you might have a tech issue here; try to return the ipod and choose a different store and buy one ... also try to uninstall itunes totally, back up your songs on a CD or DVD, and then re-install a fresh new copy of itunes ... this might work ... good luck!

Ipod mini not working HELP PLEASE!!!!!

my ipod mini is showing the apple logo, a sad face and then a battery sign with a fire bolt when i try plugging it into the computer. also, my computer wont recognize it at all. I've tried resetting and restoring it many times but its not working. what should i do!?!?!?!?! I've tried to make an appointment with the Genius Bar but they are too busy and my warrenty expires really soon!!

BRAND NEW iPod not "recognized" by itunes and "appears to be corrupted"????

I recently purchased an 80gb ipod classic and when I came home to connect it to my computer, itunes opened and the following message appeared:
iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this ipod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod
I just got this, and had never even turned it on, so how can it already be corrupted? I tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the ipod, to no avail. I then restored the ipod, again still message. I even quit iTunes and then reopened it, and still it says the same thing.

Any idea on what's going on? This is really annoying/frustrating considering it's brand new.

Thanks, I ended up getting the newest version of iTunes (I had 7, just not 7.7 or whatever that little insignificant update was) and then tried again. This time, itunes itserlf wouldn't even open because that version of itunes only worked with Mac OS X 10.4.10, and I had 10.4.4
I did a software update for my OS, which I HATE doing because of all the glitches and possible problems associated with updates but restarted the computer.
After doing Opaldad's helpful tip, I connected the ipod and restored it. After that, its working perfectly.

HT201335 Mirroring function on Apple TV 3gen not working - help please

I have a brand new Mac Book Air and recentlypurchased the Apple TV (3rd gen). The mirroring icon worked until I closed the screen on the laptop and then Apple TV stopped working on the tv I was streaming content to. I opened the screen and since then there is no mirroring icon in the upper tool bar. I rebooted my router a few times and still nothing. I can access my itunes content but not the mirror features.
Any help is appreciated.

If you are near an Apple Store you can take it to the genius bar and they will probably swap out the remote for you once they verify it is dead. If not I would try to take it back to were you got it and replace it as a deffective unit.

Iphone 3G 2.2 earpiece not working HELP PLEASE

Hi, suddenly my iphone earpiece it´s not giving me sound. When I recieve a call people can hear, but I can´t. Also with the voicemail, I have to use the head phones, or the bluetooh. The only way to speak in a conversation with out the head phones it´s to use it in speaker mode. I have tried everything, plug and unplugged many times the headphones (it recognize the it doesn´t have it because when I put it out it says ringer and no headphones ringer in the iphone when I change the volume). The ipod part is working correctly, when I recieve a call or make a call, it stops. The mic is working fine.
Can somebody help me to find where can be the problem? I already reset it, two times, try the plug and unplugged thing, clean the jack trail

No, I restore the phone to factory setting already, I didn´t make the back up, I put as a new iphone, and try to use it with no extra apps, and still not working, how does this part can get damage and everything still working correctly?, I still using it as a phone with the headphones when I not alone and with the speaker when nobody is around, I don´t have an apple store near me, so I have to send it to them by mail, so, I want to do everything I can before to do that.

Go step by step by step and test.
1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Delete Caches.db
    Close all windows and quit all applications.
    Hold "option" key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
    Select "Library" from the dropdown.
    Library > Caches > com.apple.Safari > Caches.db
    Right click the Caches.db file and select "Move To Trash.
    Close windows and relaunch Safari.
3. Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
4. Delete Cookies
    Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
    Click “Remove All Website Data”.
5. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
    Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.
    Turn on those one by one and test.
