Brand new LG Revolution - Will not update to Gingerbread. Stuck on 2.2.2

We just got a LG Revolution for my girlfriend. she's coming from AT&T on a iPhone 3GS. The phone will not update to gingerbread (Android 2.3.) everything I have read FROM Verizon is that gingerbread was released for the Revolution in October 2011. I have also used in my own hands Verizon's LG Revolution that was updated with gingerbread OTA. She's having a host of problems, most of the same problems I had on my phone while running froyo. I spoke to technical support at VZW and they claim that there is no such update for that device, even know I provided information published from VZW themselves saying that there is. What is the deal ? I've been a customer of VZW 7 years and have had nothing but great things to say about the service and support but the second I get someone to switch carriers and operating systems, VZW fails me... help me out here guys, shes paying more money to be on verizon and she's not getting what she's paying for.

Ok, she's at work right now and this is the information I got from her, I feel like there are more numbers though. She says the SW Version is VS910ZV6 and the Build Number is VS910ZV6 as well. and when we try and update it says "There is no update available" She's off work in a few hours BTW.
EDIT: Just an update. We went to the Verizon store (Actual store, not franchise) and tried to get it updated there but they couldn't do it. they also said that there was never an update for gingerbread on the LG Revolution. They also had a surprised look on their faces when I showed them their floor model running Gingerbread 2.3.4. Then they told me that it was a different phone and they don't have any LG Revolutions on the floor. But anyways, one of the guys there called the LG rep and she said to go to www.lgusa.com and try and update it from there. But that also does not work.
We also found out, from Skype, that Skype can not use a front facing camera unless it's on gingerbread or above. < FroYo is not supported. That sucks in of it self because skype with a front facing is ONE of the main reasons she got this phone as opposed to a DroidX2 or something like that. As I am going to be relocating via the military skype is a very attractive feature to have, to make video calls.
Also I can get her available to talk to should you need personal information.

I purchased my wife an lg revolution on Feb 7,2012 it will not update to android 2.3. I have an lg revolution as well that was able to update to android 2.3.4 in November. I talked to a rep at a Verizon store he told me that i would have to contact LG, Lg said that they do not do the updates, Verizon does all of the updates. i have kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf build number VS910VZ6 and Software version VS910ZV6 android version 2.2.2. Also i have done a soft reset and a hard reset. i have went to about phone>software update>and check new it says no new software update available which i know is wrong.LG also told me that Verizon could send the update to my phone. thanks

Brand New iPod Touch will not update or restore.

Ok this is getting really annoying. I have tried to update my Ipod touch and I keep getting the same message: The iPod "xxx " Could not be updated. This device isn't eligible for the requested build. So after all of that i tried to restore my iPod and i recived the message The iPod " " Could not be Restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build. My Ipod is brand new and is not jail broken. Please can someone tell we what is going on. this is the most problems i have ever had with a apple product.

At least I'm not the only one with the issue. I was looking it up so see if others had the same problem and found a bunch of posts about it. I'm assuming it's not the phone then, it's the software. Should I bring it to the Apple Store? Replacing the phone seems stupid, because the phone isn't really the problem. It's the software! Maybe the iOS 5.0.2 will fix it??? I don't really want to wait though, it's a pain. If a lot of people have this issue it should get Apple's attention. They need to do something to fix it, ASAP!

That is correct. ios 4.2.1 is the latest available for your iphone.

I have dellbiz.myway.com as my homepage. For several weeks it will not update the information on the homescreen. The same article appears at the top (there are usually several different ones that change every few seconds but this is not happening, it's stuck on an old article). You can also enter a zip code for your local weather and I can do that and it changes to my local weather at that time but when I close the browser and re-open it, it does not keep that setting even though I check the box to "save the location." Can't figure out how to get this straightened out. I have cleared the cookies, history, cache, etc., but to no avail.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Brand New iPod Nano will not do anything

My mother's new Ipod nano 4th generation will not do anything. It has been plugged into the USB for close to twelve hours (not in sleep mode) and it is still completely unresponsive. Shouldn't it be charged by now? The hold switch is off. It is not recognized by the computer. I have hooked it up to different computers including a brand new Macbook and it still does the same thing. I've tried resetting and restarting it using the method on the Apple site but it is still completely unresponsive. All that is on the screen is the Apple logo--nothing else.

it's always a good idea when u first use a new ipod with a computer to restore it with the ipod updater to makes sure everything is all rosey with the format and then load up the songs so u can walk through the ipod set assistant. this should fix it right up. just restore it

Brand new iPod touch will not connect to home wifi

Monday I got a brand new iPod 4 to replace my previous one, as the home button had failed unexpectedly. The new iPod is working fine, running the latest iOS but when I try to connect our secure home wifi, it won't accept the password. We have reset the password and I've reset network settings. I'm so frustrated, because everything else connects to the wifi BUT my iPod will not take our correct password. What can I do? Should I take it back to Apple? I'm already annoyed by having to get a new iPod. The last one connected just fine but now this one won't.

Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. done
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Brand new 27" iMac will not sleep

I have a brand new iMac 27" and it will not sleep. It just turns itself back on again.
I have the same hardware peripherals as I did on my 20" iMac.
I tried the energy settings, shutting off the wireless mouse, and I still can't get it to sleep.
I have read I can shut down "processes" but I'm afraid to as I don't know which ones to shut down and I don't want to mess up the system.

EDIT: I just tried to make it sleep by using a schedule and it worked. It stayed asleep. So what do you think?

Try holding down command-option-P-R at boot time. Let it chime. Keep holding the keys down until it chimes again, and then release them, and see if it boots OK.
If that doesn't work, then power it off again, unplug it from the wall, wait 30 seconds, plug it in and try.
If that doesn't work, then reboot it, hold down command-R at boot, and try to get to the recovery partition. If you do, launch Disk Utility and try and verify the disk.

Brand new iPhone 5s will not turn on

I purchased a brand new iPhone 5s for my daughter and when we went to turn it on this morning, it would not turn on. I charged the phone, in case that was the issue but still nothing but a black screen. I connected to itunes and tried to restore the iPhone features, it recognized that it was an iphone but gave me an error 40 and the apple logo and progress bar was only visible. Once I diconnected from itunes, the screen went blank again. I also made sure that our iMac updates were completely up to date and that there were no security settings blocking its use, but still no luck.
Any suggestions?

Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

Brand New x100e Battery will not charge above 97%

Hi,
I received my BRAND NEW x100e yesterday and I charged the battery to full once. After that I used an hour or two of battery life then plugged the laptop back in. Now the charge meter will not go above 97% (it's been stuck under 97% for hours and it's been plugged in). I have tried restarting the computer.

Brand New Iphone 5 will not power on

Activating my new phone and it will not power on. called the service provider for customer support and they said to charge for a few hours. I can not see where on the phone it indicates its charging as there seems to be nothing lit up. I have never had an Iphone so i'm pretty lost here. My Droid Bionic has a flashing indicator so even when totally dead it will flash when plugged in. Any help would be great!

Plug the phone back into the wall charger wait 5 minutes and then hit the sleep button on top of the iphone. IF that doesn't power it up then hold down the sleep/home button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Where exactly did you buy this iphone 5 from?
