If your fonts are changing when viewed on other computers - epecially those running windows - you need to look at using web-safe fonts...

I use Time Machine to back up my entire computer with my external hard drive. I am getting a brand new iMac this month and was wondering what is the process of using this back up to restore my new computer exactly how my old computer was? I want to make sure I will still have various important files on my new computer, like my songs in iTunes, my photos in iPhoto, etc, etc. Thanks so much in advance!
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
When you turn on the new iMac for the first time, Setup Assistant will ask you to restore a backup, so connect the external disk and follow steps to restore all your files to your new iMac. Your new Mac will have the same settings and programs as your old computer.
In other cases, I would recommend to restore the whole backup without using Migration Assistant or Setup Assistant, but a Late 2012 iMac uses a special OS X build, so the OS X version that you're using on your old Mac won't work on the new one. Maybe, but it depends on the method of binding. Presuming a soft cover from back (flap) over spine to front (flap), corresponding to a normal section sewing or normal glued paperback, at least the following steps apply:
1) Determination of the size of the front/back cover, corresponding to the paper size used for the (text) block (with the addition of the spine thickness); for books with flaps also the width of the flaps (remember to add at least some 2 mm to the width of the front/back cover to get a grip, you may get the feeling by looking a a few books with flaps);
2) Determination of the the width of the spine: this is determined by the width of the (text) block (with the addition of twice the cover thickness) which again depends on the page number (including possible blank pages) and the paper stock; normally, the printer/binder will tell you;
3) General layout with final cut size, (outside that) bleed, marks for cutting (which in some applications/versions are termed crop marks) and folding, registration marks, and possibly other printer's marks (you may find that in the Helpfile of the application; marks for folding are probably not included); especially in connexion with a high quality book, a crease for reverse folding some 7 mm from the folds at the spine may preserve the contact between front/back cover and spine/block (this is the first defense line against a battered look and tearing off the cover);
4) Creation and positioning of the artwork; remember that the folds break the artwork into separate parts viewed separately/at different angles, and avoid crucial parts close to the folds which should form transitions or be empty (with just the background colour).
As it appears from 2), you will have to talk to the printer/binder in any case. Get as much information as you can get about what they need/want.
And remember prepress proofing.

Did you mean that you are suffering a network connection problem when checking Windows update or this computer couldn't connect to network all the time?
To install Windows update package offline, since you already download the update packages, just choose and click them to install these updates.
If there is any difficult to install these packages, please feel free let me know.

Establishing and connecting to a wireless encrypted network takes two basic steps:
Administering the wireless router to configure it for a wireless security type (WEP (not recommended), WPA, or WPA2) and password.
Connecting a wireless client to the secured network by choosing the corrent security type and entering the correct password.
The "lock" symbol would only show up for a Wi-Fi network after it has been configured for security. You can't do this via System Preferences on your Mac. It would have to be done using either the AirPort Utility for Apple routers or a web-based interface for most others. -

Assuming your rig can support virtual machines, you can use Hyper-V and run another OS there.
Better practice however is to use a dedicated machine and use remote desktop to the server.

Start the printer, go to System Preferences > Print and Scan, press the + button and select the printer. Your printer and Mac must be connected to the same Wi-Fi -
