Breadcrumbs Look Different on Certain Pages

I noticed something weird about some of the apex themes (such as Theme 15 and Theme 18).
The breadcrumbs of the pages that were made when the Application was made (pages defined during the application creation wizard) look different than the breadcrumbs on pages which were created AFTER the application had already been created.
I have two example images:
<Image 1 :: Breadcrumbs on a page which was defined/made during application creation wizard>
http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/6984/example1yh3.jpg
<Image 2 :: Breadcrumbs on a new page which was created once the application had already been created>
http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/9696/example2co0.jpg
Since the breadcrumbs on both of these pages use the same template, how can I make it so that the breadcrumbs on newly-created pages will look the same as the breadcrumbs on the older pages which were created during application-creation wizard?
I prefer the look of the breadcrumbs which are on the pages which were created during the application-creation wizard.
Thanks,
John

Aha! More people having the same problem as me!
(for the record, I'm using the Sand theme)
The default (ready-made) breadcrumbs look like this:
Home | Reports | People
And they seem to work very nicely!
Except... I made a new application and deleted the breadcrumbs thinking I didn't want them - then decided I did want them, so I made some new ones.
The problem is that the new ones don't work!!!
They give me...
Home Reports People
without the nice litte lines between the entries.
I've checked, and it's just completely omitting the "Between Levels" subtemplate from the HTML.
So apparently this is a bug!
I've been able to reproduce it 100% of the time.
Make a new app - it works fine.
Delete the breadcrumbs and make some new ones - it doesn't work.
So does that mean I have to delete my whole application and make a new app just so I can get the breadcrumbs working properly? :(
Now I've found this thread so it's good to know other people are having the same problem...
Is there a fix for this?

  • MY FONT LOOKS DIFFERENT IN INDESIGN PAGES PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hello, I have a majo problem here. I have all my pages written in one font, Arial Narrow, however the width of the font looks different from page to page, it looks bold on page 1 and 2, and on page 3 it looks fine,  is there any invisible setting applied to the whol page? why does it look bold? I did try toprint them, they do look different, also, there is no stroke  set, i checked, and color is set to black not registration. Is there anything else I am missing???? Please help!!!!

Transparency isn't something you would adjust, per se.
Imported art may have transparency in it (like a transparent background), or you may have applied an effect like a glow or a drop shadow, or used a blending mode (all of which are transparency effects) on an object on your document page, or even adjusted an object's opacity in the effects panel to make the background show through (this is true tranparency inthe classic sense). Any of these things will result in ID redrawing the page and "emboldening" the type on that page.
There is no way to remove the eefect other than to remove the transparency from the page (if you are showing the icons for it in the pages panel, whcih you set in the panel options, you'll see a small checkerboard next to the page icon in the panel if there is transparency in use). To assure that all pages look the same if you are going to use transparency on any page, you can add a transparent object to the master page.

  • Footer in Master page looks different in other pages

I've tried everything and need help pls. I just try to make a textbox in the footer of the master page. it should look like this:
    Master Page:
But in every other Page the alignment changed, the footer changed and the textbox in the footer too. It looks like this:
This only happens, when I put the textbox in the footer of the master page. When there is no textbox, if have no problems with the alignment and every page looks like the master page.
I really don't know what i am doing wrong.
Info: The checkbox "Footer" of the textbox is on and i deactivated "sticky footer" in the properties. All pages are using the master page.

    Hi Isabella,
Can you please upload the Muse file and share the link.

  • Published page looks different than iweb page

    Hello everyone,
I have a problem with one of the pages on my site. I placed shaded shapes behind text and although everything looks aligned in the iweb program, when I publish it one of the pages(adults) shows the text very misaligned.
What is bugging me is that it only happens on that page, no where else.
I have cleared the cache, re-made the page, as well as other options but cannot figure out why this is happening.Maybe someone here can help me out.
    My site is www.beaupitsmma.com
    Thank you,
    Rich

    Rich:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try adding the text to the shape itself. Ddouble click on the shape and start typing. You can then set the color and other font attributes. and removing it from the main text box, just leaving space so the shape will fit in. That probably is the quickest and easiest way to straighten out the issue.
You can also inset the shape into the text box at the location of the cursor by using the Insert->Shape menu option. Once the shape is inserted you can set its properties and add the text. It will then move with the text if you do any editing.

  • Why do certain clips (photos), viewed in preview, on Adobe Premiere 11 look different on YouTube?

    Hi folks,
I've posted, via Adobe Premiere 11, two different music videos on YouTube and on my Facebook page. The first one, "Back In The Day", looks the same on YouTube (and Facebook) as it did when I viewed it (previewed it) on Premiere 11. But the second video, "Wicked World", that I posted on those internet sites, has certain clips (photos) that look different than what's seen on Premiere 11.
With "Wicked World", it almost looks like certain Panned & Zoomed photos are bigger in size than what the YouTube screen can show?
I used Pan & Zoom on some photos in both videos. But maybe with "Wicked World", I always set the "Hold" times to zero (0) when using Pan & Zoom on some photos. Or could it have something to do with the Track Size on the "Wicked World" Premiere 11 video? BTW, I see that by right clicking in an empty part of the track, the Track Size choices come up as small, medium or large.
Or is it something about upload choices on YouTube? Two different friends helped me with uploads to YouTube for each video, so maybe the first one, "Back In The Day", looks OK because that friend chose proper upload choices?
If you have time, or the inclination to see the difference for yourself, you can go on YouTube and type in on the search bar, "Wicked World Bob Fuchs". You'll see both a head shot of me playing harmonica for one YouTube choice, and a painting of Van Gogh as another way to get to the "Wicked World" problem video, and the "Back In The Day" good video.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Once I find out why "Wicked World" photos slide partly off the YouTube screen, I will delete it from YouTube and replace it with an issue free one.
I just want to learn what caused that, hopefully, so I can avoid that problem going forward.
    Thanks!
    Bob Fuchs

    A.T.please note:
After sending you a previous email reply to your latest response, I am forwarding a new thought.
I just tried out something you had suggested. I think it may solve the issue I have with the panned & zoomed photos on my "Wicked World" video - the ones that look weird when I view the video on YouTube (and Facebook).
So, in case you also think the following may be the answer, I will now copy and paste relevant parts of my previous email, PLUS include my new thoughts - in order not to waste your valuable time looking into an answer I may already have.
    Here goes:
The Premiere 11 Edit area monitor Magnification had already been set to "Fit".
In Edit Menu Preferences General, I already had a check mark on "Default Scale to Frame Size".
The properties of the first file (a Title screen) that I dragged into the Timeline are 1920 Horizontal, 1080 Vertical. But properties of subsequent photos, some of which I panned and zoomed, are mostly only around 648x599.
Upon viewing my "Wicked World" video carefully on YouTube, I see that what actually happens is that the box-like area where my video is shown (probably the same size of my Premiere 11 screen edit area?) is smaller than the YouTube's screen viewing area. That does not bother me. However, when the panned and zoomed photos occur, my smaller box area, within the YouTube screen, itself moves along with the panned & zoomed movement of the photos! That inner box moves slightly vertically, either up or down, and to lower right or left, depending on which direction the pan and zoom of each photo is going. And an empty border around the video area hangs there, within the YouTube viewing area.
So ... as you talked about, I tried something: I replaced an existing panned & zoomed photo (clip) in the Timeline with the same photo, and then I clicked on "Scale to Frame Size". The photo got bigger. I then did a new pan and zoom on it, and reduced the duration of how long that photo clip plays. Therefore, although the pan and zoom happens faster, it cues to the proper places in the music (audio) track. And I'm guessing that the larger "Scale to Frame Size" on that photo will now show properly in the YouTube viewing area, without the smaller inner box area moving too, along with the panned and zoomed photo?
I have only done this on one of my previously panned and zoomed photos in the video. But if you think this may solve the viewing issue on YouTube, that I described above, then I'll do the same with all the previously panned and zoomed photos in my video, and save it as a new version on Premiere 11.
I guess I'd then try and delete the existing "Wicked World" video from YouTube, and replace it with the new, hopefully issue-free version.
What do you think? Should I try this, and then replace the old one on YouTube?
    Best Regards,Bob [email protected]

  • Page that is uploaded to the server looks different from the preview in Dreamweaver browser

Hi, I have a couple of questions.  Does anyone happen to know why my homepage looks different in Dreamweaver when I preview in browser then it does when I upload the page onto the server?  http://www.iewaterkeeper.org/  I see a join our mailing list button is intact when I preview in browser but is no where to be found when I view the uploaded page from the server.  Other weird things have been going on with Dreamweaver today like I wasn't able to absolute position a div tag in it's intended place and all the typography on my homepage looks very blurry in Dreamweaver but looks clearer when it's uploaded to the server.  Does anyone know what's going on?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  .... • My firefox home page looks different from your tutorial

I am trying to learn to use firefox. Sometimes the firefox home page looks different from the one in your tutorial. Fox example, now I am looking above and the "plus sign" symbol to add a new tab is not there. Please advise me. Thank you.

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window.
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.

  • My Muse page looks different on Firefox and Chrome - both are the latest versions

On Firefox, my pre-loader wants to load each time it encounters an Edge Animate on my scroll page. Page anchors are slightly changed in Firefox and this messes up my scroll, opacity and Ege Animate triggers.
I'm not sure if this is relevant but I also receive this error message in my browser immediately after exporting to HTML - http://www.broadcastgems.com/mediastreamer5/Muse_js_Error.jpg
    Here's my Muse Webpage - http://www.broadcastgems.com/MoGraphIntensity_ShapesText_PreLoad/
Lastly, I can't get my Form on the said page to work - on both Chrome and FIrefox. I can fill in the boxes but clicking 'Send' doesn't seem to do anything. Also, the text column for "Message" is ridiculously narrow - only 2-3 words long and I can't seem to change this. Visually it looks long but once I start typing it wordwraps after only 2-3 words. I'm using the built-in Form widget that comes with Muse.BTW, the form is right at the bottom of the page/URL I provided in the previous para - you can get there via the menu button, Inquiry.
    Thanks for any assistance
    - Roland

Hi Aish, here's the screen recording I made http://www.broadcastgems.com/mediastreamer5/Muse_Browser_Issue_Jan29_2014_01.zip
Notice how Firefox initiates the Muse pre-loader each time it reaches an Edge Animate object AND how the layout looks different when I use the menu buttons to access page anchors. Unfortunately, I forgot to record the form's Message Text Field, to show how narrow the column is. Any idea on how to fix/enlarge the column for this?
BTW, I just received a form submission that I made a while back - like half an hour ago.
    Cheers
    - Roland

  • Why do my Organizer & Editor pages look different from those in books and the brochure that came?

  • Why does my lock screen settings page look different?

I just got my S4 mini and I am trying to set up lock screen widgets but according to all the tutorials, my options under Settings > Lock Screen looks different. I do not have the "Multiple Widgets" option. I DO have the "Favorite Apps or Camera" option that needs to be switched on or off, BUT it's grayed out! I just did the updates so that can't be it. What do I do??

The options are dependent/limited based on which lock screen you choose.  For example, if you choose a lock screen of Swipe, you'll see a choice for the Multiple Widgets that you were originally asking about.  If you choose a lock screen of Pattern or PIN, the Multiple Widget option (along with several others) isn't available with those particular lock screens.

  • Why OCR crash on certain pages??

I have a number of PDF files of texts, with the content in Chinese and the source of the files generally unknown. I do OCR on them so that I can index them with DevonThink and then find content quickly.
Some of the files undergo OCR with no problem at all, but some crash Acrobat 9 Professional (ver. 9.1.3) at certain pages. I can extract the page, open and re-save it in Photoshop, and then it submits to Acrobat OCR with no problems. But when there are too many such problematic pages I have to give up.
I cannot see any difference in Photoshop between pages that are OK and pages that crash Acrobat. Nor are there any visual differences between pages that crash Acrobat and those that don't (such as text going in different directions, as has been suggested in the Acrobat.Windows forum).
    Can anyone suggest a solution?
I have attached the most recent AdobeAcrobat crash log.
I look forward to any suggestions you might have! Thanks in advance...

Umm, I thought I said that the texts in question were in Chinese? To quote from the Devon Technologies support site:
"The ABBYY Engine used in DEVONthink Pro Office supports most languages uses latin characters as well as Hebrew; Asian languages and Arabic are not yet supported."
Hmm, I suppose I could look for another OCR program with CJK (Chinese-Japanese-Korean) capabilities... but it would be nice to solve the problem in Acrobat!

  • PRINTING: Keynote will only print to a certain page # then stops

Just to get this out of the way: iWork '08/Keynote 4.0, Mac OS 10.4.10 and everything has been updated. I also looked for other strings relating but could not find any.
I have a few reports created in Keynote that will only print to a certain page. Each report prints the same page every time, but the page # differs for each report. For instance, one report will print to page 32 out of 64, another to 42 out of 70, etc...
Further, if I select the pages that were missing, they will not print at all.
I have tried different printers, networks and printers. Other programs (Word/Excel) will print in total.
Has anyone heard of this problem/have any advice?
    Much thanks,
    Matt

    - Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • Webpages look different on all mac browsers than they do on IE

Ok, I just purchased an IMAC 27inch and I am not happy. The WebPages I used to do my job on my windows machine worked fine. On my IMAC, they look different, as if part of the page is lying on tope of another part of it, or like the tables used to create the web page are skewed.
I have tried this on Safari, Firefox and Opera. I went back to the mac store and brought the webpage up on the model in the store and the same thing happen. The sales person downloaded and installed Chrome and there was no change. It did the same thing on chrome.
Has anyone had a similar problem? WebPages looking different on the IMAC than they do on windows IE? I need to get this figured out fast or I will just take this thing back. I have 11 days left on the 14 day return policy. Help.
I will try and figure out how to upload a pdf of both WebPages to this thread

So, is this your first Mac? I remember when I switched over from a PC, I had the exact same issue. Trust me on this one, there is nothing wrong with your computer, it simply takes time to mentally adjust to the differences. It looks as if Safari does not show the complete webpage, or looks as if it is cutoff, or as you said, "skewed." But it is not, your eyes are so used to the IE format and your brain has grown so accustomed to your internet experience being a certain way that it takes time to get used to it. I posted the EXACT same question five years ago in this forum and everyone told me what I am telling you and I got pretty upset with some very knowledgeable people. Now I feel like a fool for having disagreed because I see nothing wrong with it at all, but I am using the same exact computer I was five years ago (I love IMac's, how many PC's can one say that about) You will get used to it, no doubt about it.

  • Peachpit "Motion5" p. 54, Step 11 drop-down issue - my screen looks different

This problem requires the Peachpit "Motion5" book to reference because it is copyrighted and I can't take a picture of the page in question.
The subject page shows a drop-down window with "sliders" for Red, Blue, and Green and one is supposed to enter in new values for each color. HOWEVER, since the book is old and based on an earlier version of Motion5, this is a PROBABLE cause as to why the dropdown I'm getting looks different from the book's version.
So, either the dropdown has changed, OR, "I'm not getting it." (the latter is a real possibility although I've tried every option I can think of)
NOTE: I've tried to find Errata information for the book and there are only a few items listed, none of which covers this issue.
    My screen shot:
The lesson requires that one type in 0.63 for Red, 0.35 for Green, and 0.06 for Blue. Unfortunately, one cannot enter in a decimal point, ergo, this cannot be done.
The screen shot is for Motion 5.1
    Any ideas?

The book said to "... click the disclosure triangle ...." and I took that to mean the triangle to the right of the Remap colored square. This I tried numerous times and wound up with the color scheme shown in your right screen shot.
This has been a while so I don't remember the exact place, but after clicking on the arrow on the left side of the Remap (or maybe it was the colored square like you showed) there was a better window that opened:
This one allowed me to dial in exactly the paramerters that was asked for.
    WHEW!
What an ordeal. But it's over and figured out now. A relief.
Like you mentioned, I also was waiting for the publisher, or some other publisher, to come out with a Motion 5.1 book but couldn't wait any longer. If they continue to print and sell the old "5" version you'd think they'd at least have a good Eratta page somewhere that would provide the changes as well as fill in the holes in the procedures. Certainly, if this was used for class instruction they would know what questions the students struggled with. Oh well.
Currently I'm up to page 65 and struggling with Step 13 to get the bright orange/brownish-yellow color they show. I'm only able to get a light version of the general background color. Tried the grey also, and ditto there. Just isn't working. I'm getting the colors I want in the color box but not on the screen. Sort of a partial. The HUD looks just like the picture in the book.
In Step 12 it says to "click the Add Filter pop-up menu ..." but I can't find where they're talking about it. I've looked everywhere. Need to take a rest and work on this tomorrow.
    Thanks for the support.
Edit: What happened? What do you mean? This didn't help me - Geeze, I wrote it! Need to get some rest.
