Breaking of Contract ADSL and Landline

Hi guys I am asking how much it would cost me to break a Telstra Contract of ADSL and Landline. We have been 4 months in the 200GB plan and have 20 months to go. The reason why I wish to break my contract as the speeds that supposed to be lighting fast, are so slow that I cannot even stream an online video on laptop and mobile devices, so clearly the lighting fast speed is nothing but a dishonest marketing campaign to attract customers. Also, the internet tends to drop out frequently and I have the joys of resetting the modem. Of course, I was trying to take this with Telstra customer services, but it seems that I spend more time waiting and being transferred from one department to another then talking to someone. And when I do, I get asked a million questions just to tell me that they have escalated the query, without any results. Now as I consumer, I had no idea that Telstra would not have lived to their "lighting speeds" promise before I actually used the service. Isn't that a breach of their contract with me? So why should I have to pay for their inefficiencies and dishonesty? I was with Optus and as much as I didn't like their service, the connection rarely cut out and at least I could stream online video. What to do?

Generally speaking it's $15/mth remaining on your contact. So at 20 months remaining, that's $300.
That being said, if you've gone through in-depth troubleshooting with tech support on 133933 and they still can't provide you with a working service, that would in my mind be ground to terminate without penalty.
Are you able to post results from speedtest.net here?
Do you know how to get your modem stats (Sync, Attenuation, SnR)?

Surrender/Break the Contract

Hello,
I have a 2 year contract with Verizon which started from Oct 19, 2012. I was required to come back to India in first week of Dec, 2013 and hence suspended my account dated from Dec 19, 2013 (hoping that may be I will be back in US within 3 months of suspension). But it seems, I will not be back in US until next 1 year time.
Hence, I need to break my contract which includes my number as main line and my wife's number as one additional line. I tried to contact via Twitter handle @VZWSupport, but got no response.

I had the same problem. Kept getting message of waiting for activation or check network connections. I also tried every solution out there and nothing worked. This did though: I download the newest version of itunes (through Internet Explorer - Google Chrome wouldn't work). It pulled in my entire library thank goodness and then I plugged my iphone 4s into the computer. I let itunes find it, did a complete backup in icloud, then did a restore. Entire process took a couple of hours, but I now have imessage and facetime back. I was about ready to give up on Apple and go get a different phone ~

KB2909210 on Server 2008 R2 breaks my intranet sites and print dialog box

Let's try this again. I have been asking the following question of Microsoft and every time I do, I have only been told to try another forum.
I have several intranet sites that my users use for various data entry and querying purposes. I installed Internet Explorer 10 onto my 2008 R2 Terminal Server over this past weekend (10/18/2014) which also installed the Security Update KB2909210
and rebooted the server. On Monday morning (10/20/2014), when my terminal users logged into the sites, the sites began malfunctioning. All the dropdown arrows turned into question marks. Some fields which normally have a small "x"
on the right-hand side used to erase the data entered in the text field were also displaying as question marks. The objects still functioned but it was disconcerting to my users. The update also slowed down these same intranet sites to where it
began interfering with productivity. I activated Compatibility View for all intranet sites, but it did not resolve the problem.
I also found that when my terminal users tried to print a pdf document from the intranet sites, the print dialog box was jumbled and no fields were pre-populated with data like they always are when printing. I updated to the latest Adobe Reader, but
the print dialog box remained jumbled.
All of my users with stand-alone PCs have IE 10 installed and the intranet sites work fine. The sites display properly and process quickly, and the print dialog box is not jumbled. It is only my terminal users who log in from a thin client
to their profiles on the server and use the IE version installed on the server who have the problem with IE10. The KB2909210 Update is not installed on, and does not come up as, an update for any of my stand-alone Windows 7 PCs.
I uninstalled IE 10 from my server, but since this was one of my production servers, I could not restart it until after the plant was shut down for the evening forcing my users to suffer with the slowness for the day. This morning (10/21/2014) the
intranet sites are working fine through IE 9. I also had to revert back to Adobe Reader v9.5 as the v11 (and v10) print dialog box does not display properly in IE 9.
I do not want to stay on IE 9 on my server as IE9 gets more un-secure by the day and we've found IE 11, on any of our machines, to be too buggy.
How can I install IE 10 with its security updates and prevent it from breaking my intranet sites and print dialog box? What is so different about Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 that IE 10 causes this corruption of intranet sites and the print dialog
box on the Server but not on the Win 7 machines?

In my opinion, it's hard to say your problem caused by KB2909210. Have you tried to uninstall this update for test if your intrant site's problem resolved?
If your problem truthfuly caused by this updates, you can choose to hid the update as a workaround method.

Contract Start and End Dates in Sales Order

Hi
I have a situation where a service item is bundled with a deliverable item. The order is as follows
Line Item    Mat                                                                 Qty            Higher Level Item
10              Item No.1 (Physical Item)                                  1
20              Item No.2 (Service Item)                                    1               10
For the deliverable item 10 , Revenue is recognized immediately. For the Service item no.20 , revenue needs to be recognized over a period of 1 Year (It is a 1 year service contract).
The whole order is created via BAPI from an external 3rd party order capture system.
In order to do revenue recognition properly for service items , SAP I believe has 2 options
1. Based on Billing plan dates
2. Based on contract start dates
Since order with both the line items need to produce 1 invoice, I cannot use billing plan . The only other option is to use contract start and end dates. I have enabled contract data at the sales order level. So when I enter the contract start and end dates manually at the line item level and set the item category to recognize revenue based on contract start and end dates based on time-based revenue recognition it is working fine.
But I need a way to automate the population of contract start and end dates at the line item level. My ABAP guy is not able to find a user exit that can change the XVEDA or any VEDA structure in any of the user exits.
I guess the SAP SD gurus out there would have definitely dealt with a situation of product bundling (Service and non-service items in the same sales order with one billing document , but seperate revenue recognition for service and non-service items)

Kindly let me know what criteria you want to give for automatic population of start date of contract...
Standard SAP comes with a few baseline dates for contract start date and we can control this from customization itself.
01     Today's date
02     Contract start date
04     Acceptance date
05     Installation date
06     Date contract signed
07     Billing date/Invoice date
08     CntrctStDate+contract duration
09     Contract end date
If you have some criteria which is not covered here, then let me know and i will try to provide some help then.

Add new payment term base on sales order contract date and shipment date

My company need to create new payment term base on sales order's contract date and shipment date.
the first time is 30% made in T/T within 30days from contract signed date.
the second time is 70% made in T/T before shipment.

You have to define the PAYMENT TERMS as per days and Percentage.
Define the Payment terms in the transaction OBB8 and assign this payment terms in the CUSTOMER MASTER and will be copied to the SALES ORDER from the customer master
In the MATERIAL MASTER in the SALES ORG 1 view you have to check the field CAHS DISCOUNT In the Pricing procedure you can defin the CASH DISCOUNT condition type ( in standard there are two SKTV & SKTO)
Now process the sales order and check

I gave your suggestion a try but initially got a technical error and then appeared to be getting closer and closer to completing an order without the required information coming up so I chickened out. This also was fraught with difficulty as the cancel button seemed ineffective.
I think I may have to use imjolly suggestions.

if Ordertype "G" <--- that means It is a contract
From VBAK and VBAP you can get the Contract Details for the Order Type "G"
Go to Table VBKD, with the contract and get the billing plan .
FPLNR <--- is the Billing plan

VA42 user exit to update contract start and end dates at Item level

Hi Experts,
                  I need to update contract start and end dates at Item level in 'VA42' transaction, for this i am using user-exit 'USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION' in the include 'MV45AFZZ'. i am able to display the data into item level through my coding but the data is not getting updated into 'VEDA'
Note: No need to change contract start date and end date in header level. Only at item level i want to change dates.

you should try with FM: CRM_DATES_READ_SINGLE_OB or CRM_DATES_READ_DB.
There is something in table SCAPPT and SCGENAPPT.

I can tell you where the pricing records are saved, replicated from ECC.
The data from ECC table Axxx (e.g. A304) is replicated to CRM table
CNCCRMPRSAPxxx (e.g. CNCCRMPRSAP304).
Here you can find fields TIMESTAMP_TO and TIMESTAMP_FROM.
About the dates: what Sreekantha Gorla stated, about table 'SCAPPTSEG' is correct.
What might help is to execute program "CRM_ORDER_READ". Here you can find
the relevant entries also.

Update Contract Start and End dates via BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

Hi Experts.
We are successfully using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to create sales order.
Only problem is that the contract start and end date do not get updated.
We are passing that in ORDER_HEADER_in-CT_VALID_F and ORDER_HEADER_IN-CT_VALID_T.
After debugging, I found that there is one more table SALES_CONTRACT_IN in SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE. Updating the values in that table works.
But the problem is this table is not available in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2. How to update Contract start and end dates from this FM ?
I could not find anything in the search of this forums. So I guess this is not an issue and I am doing something wrong. Can someone suggest to me please?

Contract start and end date in BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA

HI,
I am using BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA to create a contract from within a custom ABAP program. However I cannot figure out how to get the contract start and end dates into the contract header. I know that you can enter them into the ONTRACT_DATA_IN table parameter but these dates only appear on the line items and not the header.
Does anyone know which parameters on the function map to the contract header start and end dates.

there are also fields QT_VALID_F and QT_VALID_T for quotation or inquiry. So it looks like for different contract types you need to use different fields. This BAPI calls FM SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE which has subroutine ms_move_header_in which maps from BAPI fields to internal fields. Here is a small part of this routine.
MOVE order_header_in-qt_valid_f       TO e_vbakkom-angdt.
MOVE order_header_in-qt_valid_t       TO e_vbakkom-bnddt.
MOVE order_header_in-ct_valid_f       TO e_vbakkom-guebg.
MOVE order_header_in-ct_valid_t       TO e_vbakkom-gueen.
When I check technical fields for the screen fields "Valid from" and "Valid to" in VA43 I get names GUEBG and GUEEN. So it still looks like you should use CT_VALID_F and CT_VALID_T.
I forgot to mention you can still debug BAPI to figure out where the problem is.
