Bridge and email web links

Whenever clicking on an html link to the www from an email in bridge mode (Bridge messages) over Telus mobile network I get the message "Your Blackberry smartphone is unable to establish a connection to the destination server". It is opening the main Broswer rather than the Bridge Browser. I used to get this occasionally before the .358 update but would close all my browsers and it would work properly again. Bridge Browser works fine by itself.
Any suggestions?

From personal experience I don't do these kinds discs anymore. Way to many variables to deal with...and now that Vista has come out its even worse. I've explained to clients but they're still upset when it doesn't work.

It would be best to just put all the info into menus: maps, email for the RSVP, ect.

Bluetooth, Blackberry bridge and Playbook not linking to Q10

Please.....
After checking settings and browsing the Internet for possible problems or fixes, I'm having frustrating problems in linking my phone and playbook when they worked fine before a few wks back, does anyone know if this has been a recent problem or if this has been resolved, it does seem a waste of my 64gb playbook if I can no longer use Blackberry bridge (link from Q10 still doesn't do what it is meant to do as it did with me 9800) or bluetooth link up? Please i'm going spare here trying to fix or search for updates that always say 'unavailable for this device', starting to regret getting my new Q10 that i've had for 3mths where bridge doesn't work, bluetooth doesn't get connected properly and useful apps are not available for new Q10 device, my playbook worked wonders with my 9800!

Your Playbook will never work with the Q10 like it did with with your 9800. That's just the way it is.
I would try disconnecting both devices, unpair them, and then reboot both devices and reconnect using the Bridge app. Once they do connect about all you can do access the Internet on the Playbook using your Q10.

OS X Yosemite: pop ups and email problems

Ever since I downloaded OS X Yosemite, I cannot open email web links through Entourage. Whereas I used to be able to double click or select view in browser to view an email or promotion from a website, I can no longer do this and it is driving me crazy. My default browser is set to Safari. Also, I am getting a ton of pop ups even with block pop ups activated. Any suggestions?

Adding email links and web links????

I am looking to make a wdding invitation on DVD using Final Cut or IDVD or I Movie? can anyone tell me how to add an email link or a way to add embedded web links that if someone inserts this dvd into their computer they can click and it will open their default email software and automatically RSVP via email, or perhaps get directions to the church, hall etc on Mapquest? can someone help or can anyone come up with an alternative idea?

I have two iPads about a year old and have 5 full folders of web links that I would like to copy from one to the other. Both have iCloud but not the same account. Is there an easy way to grab those folders or the icons and email?

I have two iPad 2 with separate iCloud accounts. I want to copy folders of weblinks from one iPad to the other. Email solution? Answer needs to be written for a user who doesn't know how to select a folder or a number of icons and email or copy them to something that can be emailed. I know how to do it one at a time by opening weblink and then emailing the link from safari.

Good idea. I've already used the feedback for my general suggestions to improve the way Apple handles bug reports (and tried sending it to Steve Jobs too), but I'll send a specific suggestion for a bug app on the iPhone.
However, my question is whether there is a simple way to send bug reports from the iPhone now that I have overlooked.

When I include a web link in my Hotmail email, it isn't blue. My recipients have to 'cut and paste' my links to use them. With Explorer the links are blue and folks just 'click' on them. Is there a setting in Firefox to allow links to be 'clickable'?

Is there a setting to change to make included links in my emails true links instead of 'cut and paste' links?

I can't send a website links using yahoo-Email through Firefox 3.6.19 on my Mac Os X Version 10.4.11.
And this just happed on July 19th 2011, yesterday.

Plug-ins that failed to load:
It seems to me that something is wrong with your install. Maybe you did clone a former mac to install on this one? or copies old stuff to the new one. Don't know, it seems easy and quick but I prefer always a new install using a new computer or switching to a new system upgrade.
Lightning effects shows to be 32 bit while I think to know that Photoshop CS5 and CS5.5 are both 64 bit, however Bridge was turned to 64 bit in the CS6 version but that should not mater for you to use both applications from the same install disk (or download?)
And variations is something I tried to find in CS6 but can't find it there. I had long forgotten this feature that presented different previews and you could switch to color corrections and brightness (not sure) while looking at the result in the previews.
So I think you have some old material residing on your system. I would advice you to back up all custom settings (actions, tools, workspaces etc. and keywords in Bridge) Then do a search for the Adobe Cleaner tool :

(don't know this links work for you but you can find it easy with google).
Read the instructions carefully and follow this using the official uninstaller that came with PS (see application folder). Also be sure to have your serial number and AdobeID present and while an activation of PS is for the computer maybe for security first deactivate before uninstall.

Can't open web links in emails via Safari 6.1.6

Hello...
I'm working on a Macpro computer with OSX 10.7.5.
In Safari 6.1.6 I can't open ANY links that are in emails. Links to other web sites, links to file via you send it, nothing. I've disabled the block "pop ups" tab in preferences and still nothing. I don't want to upgrade to the new OSX, as everything else on my computer is running fine.
Can someone tell me what to do to get this working again….

I encountered the same problem. In my case, the culprit was a plug-in in the Internet Plug-Ins sub-folder of my User Account's Library folder.
Here's how I proceeded, based on a suggestion by Carolyn Samit here:

1. Open the Finder.
2. In the Finder menu bar, click on the heading Go. Scroll down to "Go to Folder," and then click the mouse button again.
3. Copy the following phrase:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
and then paste that phrase into the field in the navigation window that appeared at the end of Step 2.
3. Click Go.
4. If you find a plug-in named AdobePDFViewer.plugin, drag it to the Trash.
5. Quit and then relaunch Safari. Then try to load in Safari a PDF from a web site. Then try saving it. Once saved/downloaded, try opening the PDF.
When I followed this procedure, the corrupted-PDF problem went away, thanks to Ms. Samit's suggestion.

Html and email link in a java application

Hi all
How do you put a email or HTML link into a Java application.
I want to put my web site address and email address into a about dialog.
I would like to be able to open the default email application and web site from this dialog box.

Try just making a label, and formatting it to look like a generic link. Then add a listener that performs the desired action when you click on it. The "desired action" would probably involve starting the user's default browser/mail-program and loading something in it. I have no idea how to do that, but the above should at least get you a "link" that responds when you click it, and that's a start.

TS3899 Unable to access web link within a received emails, how to correct?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

Can I track opens and clicks on links in my emails?

I sometimes send emails which contain a number of web links.
Am I able to track:
who opens their email?
which links they click on?
(like I do in Mailchimp)
