Bridge cc extensions

bridge output module isn't working after following the tutorial from: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html#Possible%20issues
also I have no ''Bridge CC Extensions'' folder in my Adobe folder just an ''Bridge CC'' so it is a bit confusing. if you had a similar problem let me know, thank you!

This folder doesn't seem to exist. I'm also wondering where to put the download. There's an /Extensions Manager CC folder and a /Bridge CC folder, but not the one noted in the Adobe instructions.
It seem simple enough to drop the workspace file into the Workspaces folder within /Bridge CC, but there's a whole other folder that came in the download that seems like it needs a place to go. BUT WHERE?!

  • THE Bridge CC Extensions, so where is this folder to be found on a Windows 7 64?

Maybe I'm the ******* but each time lately it is something else, something new with CC, things are taken out put in another place, things are completely taken out, later added again by special downloads and you have to go and search for the right files to copy and paste files and so on and on and on.... I already lost several hours by each time researching the needed info, files, patches before I actually can do something!
Now I needed to make for school  an assignment, a contact-sheet that we needed to export import Bridge-Photoshop to create a video-wall. In school we're on the CS6 where contactsheets and PDF, creating in Bridge no problem, now at home running on the CC i'm kinda fu...d, after some research i find following message,
for now I'm afraid you have to keep your Bridge CS6 on your computer and use it for generating contact sheets (on my Mac I have to close Bridge CC before I can use Bridge CS6).
    - bad news: The Bridge CC online help says that in the current version the Adobe Output Module isn't available anymore and so it doesn't support generating contact sheets: "The functionality to create contact sheets, PDFs, and web galleries is available in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, which are included in your Creative Cloud subscription." Generating contact sheets from within Photoshop is a mess. It's not as comfortable like in Bridge CS5/6, results are not predictable and the time it takes is not acceptable. Using a still fast Mac Pro with 2 x 3 GB quad cores took more than one and a half hour to create contact sheets out of o folder with 140 files – Bridge did that in minutes. Let's hope for Adobe developers working on Bridge CC to make things easy!
After doin some further research i find this:
    Install the Adobe Output Module
When Bridge CC shipped, it didn't include the Adobe Output Module, which allows you to create PDF presentations and web galleries. Adobe Output Module is now available for Bridge CC.
Make sure that you have the most recent version of Bridge CC installed. To check for updates, choose Help > Updates in Bridge. Follow the instructions to install any updates.
Download the appropriate file below by right-clicking (Windows) or Ctrl+clicking (Mac OS) and choosing to save the file. Save the file in a location you can remember, such as your Desktop.
So far no problem, following the instructions hoping my problem was solved,
Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:
    Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
What do you think? Of course everything to be found in my file paths except of course the file i needed, THE Bridge CC Extensions, so where is this folder to be found on a Windows 7 64?
Added to make things clear a print screen of C:drive path....
So any idea how to resolve this problem would be very much appreciated. Cheers

    Hi Ronald,
Sorry for the kinda late reply, busy days these days, lol but indeed somewhere i went wrong in the path. Went in search for the one you gave, progs-COMMON-Adobe and indeed correct. Thanks for the reply as the helping hand, cheers.

  • Trying to install AOM in Bridge CC but can't find the "Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions" folder - where is it? Thank you!

After updating to 10.9.2 the Finder changed and I feel something is hiding - for example, I no longer seem to be able to "GET INFO" about my hardrive... only my drive and "my documents" etc... maybe this has something to do with not being able to find this folder:  Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions

Jeff... Yes. I meant to mark this solved - found another thread recommending using FINDER-GO TO- and /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions.
    It worked easy.
That little bit of info would be a great addition to that install AOM instructions.
    Thank you for asking!

  • Want to install Output Module in Adobe Bridge CC on Mac OS X, Version 10.9.2, but in my Library hierarchy there is no folder "Adobe Bridge CC Extensions".  Where install downloaded files?

    Hello,
Unfortunately, the output module is not pre-installed in Adobe Bridge CC anymore. So I downloaded the files provided. These are supposed to be saved in the following folder: "Bridge CC Extensions". This is supposed to be under Library > Application Support > Adobe > Bridge CC. However, there is no such folder. Do I have to create it?
Thank you for a hint on what to do.
    Best,
    Heike

Thank you for a hint on what to do.
Check this thread and read the instructions of the download carefully. You have two libraries, one at system level and one at user level.

  • Missing Bridge CC Extensions Folder

I have Bridge CC installed and am trying to download and install the AOM Output Module extension.  Per the instructions on the site I need to copy the folder to the Bridge CC Extensions Folder in my Library Folder, but there isn't one there!  Any tips/advice/help?  I can't get it to work without finding that folder it seems :-(

    Hi,
I am having a problem with having the Output Module work as well.
According to the instructions I have done everything correctly. Install Adobe Output Module
    I:
Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
Copy the AdobeOutputModule.workspace file into the Workspaces folder under the Bridge CC Extensions folder.
When I place the AdobeOutputModule.workspace into the Workspace folder Bridge doesn't come up at all. If the Module is in the same folder as the BridgeCC folder then there is no change to whether Bridge works or not.
Additionally, I am not seeing "!!-$$$AdobeOutputModule.workspace" in the \Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CC\Workspaces folder. All I see are
    !!-$$$Essentials.workspace
    !!-$$$LightTable.workspace
    !!-$$$Navigator.workspace and
    !!LastMenu.workspace
    Help please. Any more ideas.
    Thank you,

  • Adobe Bridge and Extension Manager missing products

I installed Production Premium, yet Adobe Bridge will not preview After Effects Presets. When selecting Manage Extensions, the Adobe Extension Manager does not show After Effects as a product.
    How can I fix this?

Nevermind :-) Fix this moments later. I had noticed After Effects would start with an error about quick time not being installed. (new OS). After I installed that it works fine. I guess Bridge uses Quicktime to preview the presets because after restarting bridge it works fine.
    Thanks

  • Bridge / File Extensions not recognized

    Hello,
I am on a Win 7 Pro machine and up until about a week ago was running all of the updated 2013 CC apps such as PPro 7.2.2, Ps , Ai, etc...Which ran smooth as butter.
After updating the CC desktop app and installing the 2014 versions of PS, AI, PR, AE, etc, (previous 2013 CC versions were still installed at this point), I noticed the file associations were broken.
Additionally, when I am in PS 2014 and go to File>Browse in Bridge - instead of launching Bridge, it launches the CC Desktop app and prompts me with "Are you sure you want to install this version of bridge"? The first time it prompted me to do this I of course did it so all of my apps are up to date. However every time I try to open Bridge from PS it does the same thing.
    Any idea what's going on?
From what I have been reading on the various forums there are a lot of issues with the 2014 releases of the apps. Very frustrating. Big mistake for me to install of the 2014 apps upon release, I should have waited a few months until the first round of patches were out.

If you are sure you don't need the old CC programs

  • 310N Bridge question - extensive hook-up

    Hello,
OK, I have a really extensive question(s) - and I will start with listing the equipment I am working with and my final goal.
    I have the 310N Router
I added a Net Gear fast Ethernet switch
I have attempted to go from the Net Gear (via wire) to a Sherwood audio/video receiver, Seagate Home theater + , Samsung Blu-Ray BD4600, Dish Network VIP 612 DVR, Seagate Free Agent 1.2 TB (plugged into the DVR). To deal with the limited HDMI ports on the Sherwood I added a Rocket Switch (adds 2 HDMI ports) and then had to add a four (4) port HDMI switch.
I have Network magic to try and keep track of everything so I think I have the bases covered.
Now the following are the "problems" I'm having with the whole project.
My entire network is running under Windows Professional - opening Explorer I can see the two laptops, desktop, and printer when I view the Network section. All of the other equipment hanging off from the Net Gear switch is nowhere to be seen. Not seeing the Blu-Ray, DVR, Home Theater+ or Sherwood leaves me without being able to manage the equipment.
When I enter Network Magic I can see the laptops, desktop, printer attached to the desktop, Seagate Home Theater+, Dish Network VIP 612, and Samsung Blu-Ray BD4600. Clicking on the items attached to the Net Gear I can see the IP addresses and if the equipment is turned on or off BUT so far I can't access the DVR hard drive or the 1.2 TB on it, the Blu-Ray hard drive, or configure the Home Theater+ system via my network.
According to Dish Network the system is correctly attached and they are telling me I should be able to address both hard drives on the VIP 612. Samsung says I have the ethernet cable hooked up correctly and should be able to access the hard drive on it. The Seagate Home Theater+ works fine when accessing it through the TV remote control but even though Network magic sees the unit I can't access this either through my network.
So there it is, I did a ton of reading before adding the accessories to my entertainment system and it appeared that I could integrate all of these items but it's not working out very well.
Does anyone have any advise on how I can figure out why I can see the equipment but not able to control it through my 310N?
I'm open to any advise or suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Eskimoman

    Hello,
Starting at the bottom of your advise from the bottom moving to the top here is what I have done:
I have searched the Windows setting from top to bottom and haven't found any setting that are blocking the display of attached devices. Maybe I am looking for something that isn't there but I expected when opening Explorer - Network, I would see all of the devices attached to the Network. I can see and attach to the other laptops, desktop, and printer within my network. I may have it all wrong but each of the devices I spoke of have their own IP address (except the NETGEAR hub) so I thought I would see it on Explorer.
As far as the Dish Network - I'm not 100% convinced that it does have a web browser built into the system as I understand a browser. When I think browser I think I can surf the web through the browser. With the DVR you are connected to Disk Network and ony them. DN (Dish Network) connects to there online site where you can add/delete program recordings, order pay-per-view, etc. The Segate Home Theater+ allows you to go to their proprietary site which offers a limited number of viewing options you can connect to i.e. uTube, etc.
Thank you for the information - I can see that I need to do a lot more reading as to how and harness the power (or lack of) of the devices I curently have within my home entertainment system.

  • Trying to install the output module for Bridge CC but there is no extensions folder for Windows

I am trying to install the output module for Bridge CC on a Windows system, but there is not an extensions folder in my Bridges CC folder. I have seen several discussions about this issue for Mac's but nothing on a PC. Suggestions that I could use to remedy this situation? - Thanks!

For installing it please download the package as listed in the below mentioned link and follow the install instructions.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
Make sure that you have the most recent version of Bridge CC(6.0.1) installed.
Please follow the below mentioned steps:
Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location as mentioned:
    Windows 64-bit:                Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC ExtensionsWindows 32-bit:
                   Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
    2.   Copy the AdobeOutputModule.workspace file into the Workspaces folder under the Bridge CC Extensions folder (location as mentioned in Step 1).
Do let me know if this helps.

  • How do I add output module to Bridge if I don't have an extension folder?

I tried adding the output module to Bridge (why didn't it come with this???) but it says to put a folder in the Bridge Extensions folder.  I don't seem to have one.  What to do now???

There are two different Libraries on the Mac
The wrong one is located in users>Library (Hidden hold option)>Application Support>Adobe> No Bridge Extensions folder
The Correct one is Located here: Macintosh HD > Library (Not Hidden) > Adobe > Bridge CC Extensions > Workspaces
Two very big differences in folder location and the instructions found here: Install Adobe Output Module Only show the Library folder not which one it is. Problem solved.

  • Need help adobe bridge cc output module

I even tried must making one and adding the file to it, but no go. can someone PLEASE help me with this?    I have an assignment due like now that requires the use of the output modue.thanks!

  • Bridge CC doesn't start, how do I fix it?

Initial installation of Brige CC worked fine. Installed the Bridge CC Output Module with result that Bridge CC won't execute. Have uninstalled, used the Cleaner utility to reset the Creative Cloud App Tab, and then installed Bridge CC once again. Same result, doesn't execute. Spent about eight hours online while Adobe Tech-Rep tried to resolve the problem using screen and desktop sharing but his result was worse than mine because he uninstalled my Photoshop and Bridge CS6 applications without asking me and failed to fix Bridge CC.
    Here's how I stand-
    a. Bridge CC doesn't execute
    b. I'll have to spend eight to twelve hours installing my PS 7.0 disk and all of the upgrade disks needed to get Photoshop CS6 and Bridge CS6 back on my deskop.
I'm a patience man and I realize that, so far, this misadventure has only cost me $9.99 for the first month of my Creative Cloud experience with Photoshop CC and Bridge CC,; not counting time lost serving my clients and reinstalling CS6 applications that didn't need to be uninstalled.
Come now, surely there's a corrective procedure that I can carry out that will resolve the problem and I don't mean "Uninstall Bridge CC and reinstall it."
    Hello?

    Brett
    Awesome that you’re following up!
I had comments from people who had the same problem and cleared the problem by removing the module, so I’m comfortable with and confident in the fact that I wasn’t the only one experiencing this issue.
I run fully updated Win7-64bit (FYI, ASUS p6X58D-Premium motherboard, 6GB RAM, two MSI nVidia 460 1GB video cards driving four 21” monitors, Crucial SSD prime drive).
BTW, there is an error in the instructions you provide:
    2.             Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:
            Windows 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
            Windows 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
This is exactly backwards for Windows, “. . . ‘Program File’ folders that are listed are for 32 bit and 64 bit version of Windows 7. The folder with (x86) is for 32 bit version.” The source for this info is Microsoft: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/programs-files-vs-program -files-x86/7d631676-e688-472a-a1bb-eefccfeca6d7 and can be confirmed in myriad other places including the fourth paragraph at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Program_Files. Rather a critical and basic error . . .
I’ve installed it correctly, putting the 64bit Bridge CC files in the proper (by Microsoft) subdirectory, and it seems to work.
Thanks for the info and for following up — that’s uncommon with Adobe in my experience, which started when Adobe started. It makes me happy that maybe Adobe is movign to being more proactive and responsive. Cheers!

  • Output Module (Bridge CC) not working on Mac

    As suggested here
    http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
I downloaded and tried to install the Bridge CC Output Module. I could not find the "Bridge CC Extensions" folder only "Bridge CC"
I can see the output name inside Bridge when I try to install it but nothing happens when I try to click it, it's just greyed out
    I using Bridge 6.0.0.151
    On OS X 10.8.4

    Thank ti Sinkromone.
But adobe did this on purpose.
    From the Birdge product page.
Features not available in Bridge CC
    Unavailable in Adobe Bridge CC
The following features are no longer available in this version of Adobe Bridge.
    Adobe Output Module
    Export Panel
    Compact Mode
3D File format thumbnails and previews
    Synchronized window
    Adobe Output Module
The Adobe Output Module is now available as a separate module that can be installed after you've installed Adobe Bridge. For detailed instructions see, Install Adobe Output Module for Bridge CC.The functionality to create contact sheets, PDFs, and web galleries is also available in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, which are included in your Creative Cloud subscription.
To create contact sheets and PDFs, see the following:
Print a Contact Sheet in Lightroom.
Contact sheets and PDF Presentations in Photoshop
To create web galleries using Adobe Lightroom, see Creating web galleries.
    See on the link below.

So it may still work for a while but Adobe is probably going to withdraw it from the installation pckage.

  • Bridge CC Output Module fix works on WIN7, not on MAC OS X

I have CC installed on a WIN desktop and a MacBookAir. Everything is up-to-date. The are no old Adobe versions installed.
I installed the recent 'fix' on the desktop and it works fine.
On the MBA, there is no folder as named in the Adobe instructions (Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions).
There is no "Extensions" folder, just the Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC. This is where I copied the file and folder. The 'OUTPUT' module appears as a selection in Bridge, but does not appear when selected.
I have tried the sugested trouble shooting fixes, to no avail. I have searched and read the other threads on this subject on the forums.
Is there anyone who has made this fix work on OS X and can help me correct this?

On the MBA, there is no folder as named in the Adobe instructions (Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions).
To me this seems to indicate you are looking in the wrong library.
The give path for install needs to be done in the library from your system itself: MacBookAir (or the name you gave it) / Macintosh HD (or the custom name you gave to your start up disk) and then library / App sup / Adobe/ Bridge CC Extensions
I believe you are trying to install in the user library and there is only a BridgeCC folder
