Bridge crashes with Custom Connector
We've built a custom connector for Drive to connect with our DAM. If we enable the READ_XMP_METADATA capability, Bridge crashes immediately as soon as we browse a folder where images exist. We strongly believe the crash occurs when Bridge tries to read the thumbnails for the images (thumbnails for images is a mandatory feature for us). It happens on every Drive version from 4.2 to 5.0.1, on Windows 32/64bit and on OSX.
On the hotline I was told there is no telephone support for Drive and I should consider going to the forums, so here I am. Please advise how to get a solution for this. I can provide sourcecodes and access to our server to reproduce the problem.
Hello!
Can somebody give a hint here? We are blocked by this problem.

Keynote crashes with custom images bullets
Anyone had problems with custom image bullets? I am using a custom image bullet – a simple bracket set that's not supported by Keynote because it's a glyph – so I saved the image file as a png file and placed it as a custom bulllet. Now if I add a new text box (sans bullet) it automatically adds the bullet and I can't remove it. Also, if I try to copy and paste a text box it force quits Keynote even though a bullet isn't used. It seems like obviously the problem is the bullet so I've tried deleting it from all master pages and existing pages and it hasn't helped.
I'm still using the old version of Keynote but would this be resolved in the new Keynote? I haven't read much positive about the new Keynote so I'm apprehensive.Hello!

Bridge crashes with camera raw 4.4.1 installed, OK with 4.0
When I use Bridge with camera raw plugin 4.4.1 installed to navigate to a folder with at least one raw image shot with Sony Alpha 100, it consistently crashes. I can open the same image using Photoshop and Camera raw without a problem, so the image is not corrupted. Bridge works as expected with raw files from Sony Alpha 700.
If I revert to camera raw plugin 4.0 it works like a charm for Sony Alpha 100 pics, but my new Sony Alpha 700 is not supported.
I have tried using a clean user account, with no caches at all so that can not be the problem. I'm on a MacBook Pro with OS 10.5.3 and CS3.
Here is an excerpt from the crash log, showing that it is indeed the camera raw plugin causing the trouble:

TorbjørnI'm still looking for some help.
Now that I've learned a little bit more, let me try to restate my problem. In using both a Nikon D200 and a new Nikon D300. For software I'm using PS CS3 Extended Edition, as a part of Adobe's CS3 Design Premium suite. My Dell Inspiron 530 is running Vista Home Premium.
As I've said before, my problem is that I cannot open NEF files shot with either the D200 or D300 (and they are uncompressed NEF files). I downloaded the new Camera Raw plug-in, ver. 4.3.1, and unzipped it to \program files\common files\adobe\plug-in\CS3\file format. The Camera Raw.8bi file is dated 11/30/07 and is about 10,446,000 in size. Then I run a search of my hard drive to make sure there are no other Camera Raw files anywhere. Then, in PS Bridge, I purge the cache of the file folder where the NEF files are located. Then I try to open a NEF file and get the following error message in a PS CS3 Extended box:
"Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."
Then, immediately afterwards I ran another search of my hard drive, and the Camera Raw.8bi file is GONE, DISAPPEARED, VANISHED.
Is the problem with the CS3 Entended Edition?
Can anyone help me out here, particularly you Nikon shooters?
Thanks for any advice.

Is there a way to remove this custom filter from the console without having to load the console? I cannot delete it in the console as every time I select it the console crashed before I can delete.Hi,
One of the below outlined options may assist.
Option 1:
You can attempt to rename the jobfilters.xml with the below steps. Please note renaming jobfilters.xml will remove all custom filters in place and they will need to be recreated.
Log into DPM server with the user account the custom filter was created with. Ensure the DPM console is closed.
From control panel select appearance---show hidden file and folders. Ensure for Hidden files and folders that the radio button is selected for Show hidden files, folders,
and drives
From windows explorer navigate to the following path
<OS Install Path>\Users\ <account logged in with when DPM custom filter was created> \ AppData\Roaming\Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager\JobsFilter.xml
4. Rename JobsFilter.xml to JobFilters_old.xml
5. Open the DPM console.
6. Navigate to Monitoring- Jobs we should see all custom filters are no longer in place. If so re-create pervious working filters if any.
Option 2:
Provide full DPMUI0Curr.errlog to assist with investigating further as it may contain errors on the crash.
Log into DPM server with the user account the custom filter was created with.

Bridge crashes with .thm files (no questions just info to share)
Just a heads up. Bridge 2.1.1.9 began crashing after I upgraded the firmware on my Canon d60. I shoot in raw and was just dragging the entire folder file onto my desktop to view the images in the folder.
I found that if I trashed the .thm extension files (which I don't need anyway)then Bridge allows me to view the files in the folder. If I don't, it crashes.I'm actually experiencing the same problem with my Bridge CS3. The files are already transfered from my camera and are in their own folder. I just checked, and I the same files are viewable in Bridge CS2; but I kind of hate to use CS2 just because of that one stupid folder.
Not to start a whole RAW vs. JPEG debate, but I'm seriously considering saying the heck with this little RAW experiment I've been trying lately if this keeps up. -
Adobe bridge crashing with the mountain lion upgrade
every time I open a folder in bridge it crashes. anyone?
Have you made your user Library-folder visible in Finder?
I did that in the Terminal and shortly after that the crashes started for me.
I just updated to 10.8.2 and that made the user Library-folder invisible again.
At the same time Bridge started behaving properly.
Not saying that's anything other than a coincidence. -

Bridge crashes with AE presets
Having problems where bridge CS3 locks up the whole computer when I try to preview animation presets from After Effects CS3. Basically click on browse presets in AE... opens up bridge... and I can move around folders. As soon as I click on a preset to "preview" it... locks up whole computer.
Have custom built:
2 quad core 2.33 xeons
16 gig ram
dual 9600gt nvidia
SB audigy 2
Vista 64 ultimate
I sort of remember the first time I opened bridge it saying that I needed a core 2 Dou... which I find a little silly since quad core xeons are better... sigh. Any help appreciated
Bridge is version 2.1.1.9
All updates applied to whole master CS3 suite.
Also have latest version of QT pro... if more info is needed I'll try to provide it.Hello!
Can somebody give a hint here? We are blocked by this problem.

Bridge CS4 crashes with last Nvidia driver (195.62)
Sorry for my bad english...
This message because since november I have crashes with Blue Screnn of the Death when I used Bridge CS4, even when no other programs running on my PC.
Or my computer became veru slow when I open Bridge...
Or Error messages saying that Bridge must close because not enough memory (I have 3gO RAM and 512 on my graphic card Nvidia 9500, and not at all used when I have the message....)
I tried many and many things (uninstall and reinstall Photoshop, change preferences of Photoshop, Bridge, change memory in Windows...) and Bridge always crashes after some minutes of use.
I searched in many forums, and saw many people have the same problem, but nobody have the solution.
Yesterday, in the "Event viewer", in "system", I had the message : "the driver nv_disp of the peripherical display \Device\Video0 remained blocked in an infinite curl. It points out a problem with the material or with the driver of the material programming the equipment in the wrong manner"
So I went to a problem with the graphic card.
I found the solution on a forum about Nvidia : "...the problem is that after driver 195.62, sometimes Blue Screen of the Death happens. This crashes happens everytime I close Adobe Bridge, and also in some other occasions too. With the old driver (190.38), dosn't BSOD. Will be great if NVIDIA told it at 195.62 releases, and fix it if possible..."
In fact, I uploaded my GeForce 9500 driver version 6.14.11.7519 to 6.14.11.9562 in november...
I come back to my old driver and have no more problem with Bridge CS4...Well I have a 9600GT and at the moment I have the v191.07 installed but on checking the Nvidia site today I saw this
This is a WHQL-certified driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, and 300-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.
New in Version 197.45
Recommended for the best performance with the new GPU-accelerated features in Adobe CS5
RESULT...
Well have tried it and it seems to cure the problem. Opened Bridge and Photoshop CS5 several times, went through hundreds of photo albums, trying to make Bridge crash but it just wouldn't... So for now I'd have to say it works great. -
Bridge CS6 crashes with double-click, not with "open with"
Bridge cs6 keeps crashing whenever I double click on a file (jpg/psd/raw files).
After reading on this forum I couldn't find anything that worked for me.
The strange thing is, when I select a file right click open with photoshop CS6 (default) the file opens without any problem in Photoshop.
I have my default file associations of all (image) files set to photoshop CS6.
Any Ideas what can be the problem?
(windows 7 Ultimate and I have double-click edits camera raw setting in bridge marked off, and bridge crashes too when it is marked on)
Thanks!Have made comments on this in Photoshop forum, but have not solved problem yet. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1184356?tstart=0

Thanks!well it never worked, and I installed several times. I kept working with bridge CS5, but I have a new camera with raw files only supported in CS6, so now I'm confronted with this problem again.
Also tried ctrl + open to reset & purge everything....
here's my log.

Bridge CS5 crashes with an unhandle exception Just-In-Time
I have problem on Win XP, SP3 with following message:
Bridge crashes e.g. if I load images for removable disc, if I click on thumbnail in Bridge etc.
I am not able how to solve this problem.
Any idea will be appreciated. The plug-in comment refered to Visual Studio. If Bridge worked yesterday and today it does not, and you have made no other changes in hardware or software I would reset the preferences.
Close Bridge and then hold down the Crtl key while starting Bridge. You should get a reset window with 3 options. -
Intermittent crashes while using Bridge CC2014, with OS X Mavericks.
Hello! Our Worker(s) are experiencing Intermittent Crashes on Adobe Bridge CC2014, while browsing pictures. We have done /tested all the suggestions what Adobe page tell: http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge-windows.html -We tried to remedy the situtation by re-installing the Computer´s OS X Mavericks from scratch (clean install) and re-installing the Bridge cc2014 from Creative Cloud. Amount of memory was also upgraded on the machine, which now totals 12GB. Unfortunately, still the same problem exist. When bridge crashes, it will freeze the whole machine and generates "beach-balling" effect. User has to restart the machine to recover because even "force Quit" etc. does not respond.
Attached you will find a link to error log:

Thanks for all the help. Those are all fine
Here is how to see RAM overloaded…
Reboot to see the system in it's default state.
Open TextEdit for the sake of it
Open Activity Monitor & Terminal from /Applications/Utilities.
Select the Memory tab
In Terminal enter the following command
memory_pressure -l critical
# note that is a lowercase L
RAM usage will climb, compression will begin the VM will become way more than the system has installed.
Eventually the system will start swapping (look for RED) - Watch the 'memory pressure' & 'Swap used' as this happens.
Try switching to TextEdit - the system is still coping !
Switch back to Terminal & hit ctrl+c to stop the process.
Watch the VM & memory pressure return to normal levels.
This OS kicks 4ss !
Your problems may lie elsewhere -

Fyigitnull field label doesn't exist you have to create return field in process form and map this field to provisioning lookup. In this lookup CodeKey should be your process form field and Decode should be __UID__
Test the provisioning again...
