Bridge CS5 web gallery custom ......

Hi,
Hoping someone can help as I'm a newbie.
I've tried using Bridge to create a web gallery but it doesn't allow me to customise the size. It only accepts 675px x 450 px, is there a way that I'm able to customise the size to fit within a current template I've already made in dreamweaver?

Your best bet is to download the legacy plug in for creating web galleries. The problem with the new design is that your are basally locked into flash except for a single HTML selection that has very few adjustable parameters. The film strip option, which I favor, is limited to flash for example.
If you like flash this the default is the choice for you but if you want to make changes such as adding detailed captions editing HTML files is the way to go.

Bridge CS5 web gallery plays locally but won't launch online

After creating a slide show in Bridge CS5.1, the preview within Bridge and in my browsers work fine after turning off popup supression. I then upload to my site, and the only thing that displays is a blank page.

I've tried with several of the default templates and the results are consistent.
Ultimately I want to customize the default index.html to a template page but first it has to run online.

nothing in bridge's preferences refer to the output controls. any help

In general you don't need to reinstall at first trouble. A restart holding
down option key and from the pop up menu resets all preferences to default
settings including the default workspaces.
But could you be a little more specific about your workflow, f.i. on what
output you are clicking for the module (the default workspace, the icon or
menu view-workspace-output) And does that window look as output containing
at least the content panel, preview panel and output panel with all its
settings (document-lay out-overlays-header etc).
Maybe you can provide a screenshot of what you are seeing when in output?

Converting CS5 Web Gallery to CC Possible ?

The web gallery function in CS5 seems to be completely different in CC.
Original system was Windows XP 32 bit with CS5 PS, that crashed and setup a new system with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Adobe CC.
The AOM was installed (Adobe Output Module), which apparently is the new web gallery function.
My question is, can the previous data from the CS5 Web Gallery be migrated to the AOM in CC ?

Not sure what you mean exactly. The output files are just HTML which you can edit/ modify anywhere. Modifying the underlying scripts and templates is anotehr story, but as should be obvious, there's a reason why Adobe didn't bother to drag it along... Would be quite a bit of work to polish it up and, which is probably the more critical part, bring it up to current web standards compliance...

Customizing Bridge CS4 Web Gallery to fit my website

Love the improved web gallery option in Bridge CS4...is there a way that I can make it work within my existing website? I'd like to have my top logo graphic and navigation bar appear above the gallery on the same page so that it integrates well.

Thanks...I figured out that if I open the Index.htm page in my web site editor (MSFT Expression Web) and add the images for the logo and nav bar at the top of the page, the code adjusts to move the gallery down. That's all I need to make it work...

Auto fill subject with an Email link in CS4 Bridge flash web gallery

Is there a way to autofill the subject line of the email link in the CS4 Bridge flab web galleries? I can do it if I use the html gallery, but I prefer the look of the flash galleries.
If I open the "group.xml" file I see code for me email link, exp.: <contactEmail>maillto:[email protected]</contactEmail>
I tried adding the "?subject=My Subject" like I would on an html file but that didn't work. I was hoping for some suggestions.

I want it to work on the click of a mouse: when I run or test the page the email comes up immediately. Here is what I have so far:

When i'm trying to make a journal+slideshow photo gallery, i get all this unnecesary information from my metadata. ( Date last modified : ...., software: ....., X resolution, Y Resolution, image size, resolution unit..) Is there a way to make that go away so i can see just my description and author, what i want to see?
And can i incorporate a gallery made with bridge/other flash gallery into an already existing HTML page, so that you have my template's design with that in the middle(the contents/editable part for me)? Or does it need to be a whole new html page, i'm using dreamweaver.

Bridge CS4 Web Gallery upload

I can make the web gallery ok and ask Bridge to upload to server. Bridge connects to server and goes through the process of uploading. Slow but finaly says 'upload complete'.
Problem is that no such file appears on the server. Where does it go? or does it even exist.
I tried naming a folder for the upload but that freezes up part way through the upload.
I can save to disk and upload via ftp but when attempting to access on the website I just get an error message.
Anyone make sense of this?

I have had this issue and have not been able to make a functioning website using bridge.
Adobe has been unable to help me with this problem. They told me it was from my server.
Has anyone ever been able to make a website using bridge?

the path to the xml file is not correct. so im thinking they missed a
step on the setup. or something got moved. who knows.
i downloaded the whole thing locally to test and it wont work on my
system either. again there is an xml file that references the images
that is not being loaded by the index.html page.

Editing Bridge HTML Web Gallery?

Is it possible to edit the HTML Gallery Web Gallery option in Bridge? I just want it to have file names below the thumbs and preview and it would be perfect for what I want to use it for.

I've found the location embedded down three "package content" levels:
/Applications/Adobe Lightroom.app/Contents/Plugins
/Web.agmodule/Contents/Resources/galleries
/default_html.lrwebengine/head.html
and related html files.
Reminds me of the "beware of the leopard" bit in Hitchhiker's Guide.

that I can use "my" gallery further on?

Bridge flash web gallery does not take crop data

Hello,
I have been using bridge and Photoshop for many years and made many flash galleries. Lately, using CS5 I have noticed that in some cases, the crop and image adjustments information entered in bridge/photoRaw is not taken into account when make the Flash gallery. Whay is interesting is that the keywods are read correctly, also, in Lightroom, the crop information is read correctly for the same directory.
Has anyone seen that ? Any setting that I'm missing?

Bridge/Photoshop Web Gallery Question-flashobject.js file

Hi There, I have a question about the Photoshop Flash Gallery, particularly the flashobject.js file and index.html file. Whenever I try and open the finished Flash Gallery HTML page, I get a message that says "Please upgrade your Flash player" and "Already have Flash player installed? Click Here." Is there a way that I can remove that and just have it go to the Flash Gallery, if so where? I notice that it says Flash Player 6 but that is an old version. I am not very knowledgeable in javascript so any help would be appreciated.

The current version is Flash Player 10.
Pleaseprovide details about your setup.

How to add Web Gallery in Bridge CS5

Hi there,
I am creating a photo album with web gallery in Bridge CS5. I find out that Is it possible to enable vertical scroll in to the portrait pictures? Usually portrait pictures are too small when they are diminish to the screen. Here is an example of an portrait with vertical scroll, and I think they work better that way. Or what do you think?
Is it possible to find third party template to Bridge CS5 web gallery software that has scrollable slide area? Or is it possible to make couple of modifications to the basic templates?

How to Edit Web Gallery Output from CS5?

Hello! I just upgraded from Photoshop CS3 to CS5. (Got some scrambling to do to catch up!) I had been using the old File>Automate>Web Photo Gallery to create galleries for my Web site. Massaged a little in Dreamweaver MX (I know, I know...) they look something like this:

I found out how to add the old Web Photo Gallery back into Photoshop CS5, but was curious to find out what Bridge CS5 would do with Output>Web Gallery. I experimented with the Standard template and was mostly happy with the result. Here's what I got:

Trouble is I'd like to be able to customize the output a little more than allowed within the template itself. It looks like the output has Flash, JavaScript, XML, HTML and maybe other programming resources. I'm fairly familiar with HTML 3 and CSS, but am not a programmer. Can anybody recommend what high-level editing tools (example: Microsoft Word for fancy text editing) I could use to make some modest tweaks? The default modules are fine, but I'd at least like to be able to add a link back to my main gallery page like you see at the top right of my old Web Photo Gallery pages.
Also- are there 3rd party templates for Bridge CS5 Web Gallery?

Oh my, I missed that completely! Thanks very much for bringing that to my attention. In the meantime I found that ACDSee would do a Web gallery that works OK for me. However I will go back to Bridge Output Web Gallery this afternoon and five it a whirl. Again, many thanks for jumping in and pointing that out to me. I appreciate it a lot!

CS6 Bridge web gallery - HTML Gallery template problem

In CS6 Bridge, a web gallery created with the HTML Gallery template puts the images in a directory with a path of content\bin\images. This prevents the images from being served from IIS - the bin directory is by default a "Hidden segment". There is no need for the directory hierarchy generated to use the name "bin".
I know how to work around the issue, but it would be better if the issue was not present in the first place. I tried to report it as a problem on photoshop.com, but was unable to login.
How do I report this problem to Adobe?

(Me again, my previous Adobe ID broke). We don't have Dreamweaver, and the users who create and upload web galleries would not be able to use such tools (or a text editor which works on several files at the same time). My workaround is to have a directory dedicated to their web galleries using a web.config file of

                </hiddenSegments>
