Have you tried resetting preferences by holding down Option key and starting Bridge? Should get reset window with 3 options. Choose all 3.

Dreamweaver doesn't start

Dreamweaver doesn't start but shows as running in taskmanager processes but not in taskmanager applications.
I can then end the process and restart the program but the same thing happens. It doesn't even show the startup screen, it just shows the Dreamweaver.exe in taskmanager processes.
What can I do to reset the startup or clear what ever is stopping it.
Have used this dreamweaver installation for over a year with no problem and have not changed anything.

Bridge won't run. Should I reinstall it?

1.I went to Windows>Workspace, and "Output" was not there.
2. I read at adobe.com help that I should check for updates and then download the "Output" workspace, then put it at the right extension.
3. I did that.
4. Now Bridge won't start.
It doesn't seem normal that adding a workspace should make this happen. At least I should get an error.

I'm using Photoshop 14.0 x64
I've downloaded and reinstalled whatever version of Bridge installs currently on CC.
Mac OS X version 10.7.5, 4gigs of memory, 250 free gigs of disk space.
I'm not receiving an error message.
The problem I have is that Bridge won't run. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked all of the updates. The way I'm trying to run it is by clicking on the icon under Launchpad. I tried another method: going into photoshop and clicking "Browse in Bridge," but that's not working. I tried using mini bridge. It says that it is waiting on Bridge, and the Bridge menu bar appears and disappears on a regular interval, and the icon appears and disappears on the same interval on the Dock.
This seems to have started when I tried using the instructions described here Install Adobe Output Module and here How do I navigate to the Application Support folder in Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8? to use the Output method for create a portfolio. I've tried going back and undoing those changes.

Bridge won't run

I have CS6. Bridge has quit running. I can't run it from the Starrt page, I can't launch it from F)Browse in Bridge.
How do I reinstall just Bridge, or do I have to reinstall CS6 in total?

Reset preferences. Hold down Crtl key (option in mac) and start Bridge. YOu should get a reset window.

Doesn't start when starting as administrator. Error Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.

Update firefox, it asked me to update flash, I tried to update flash but it said I had to close firefox. A box came up and said the Flash install would continue when I closed firefox. I closed all firefox windows and no update of flash occurred. I tried relaunching firefox but got the "Doesn't start when starting as administrator. Error Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." message. I rebooted the system, no improvement. I tried to run firefox as administrator and got the same message. Either I find a fix or I won't be able to use firefox and will have to go back to ie.

After upgrading to iOS 7.0.2 earphones remote doesn't start playback if Music app is not running.

After upgrading to iOS 7.0.2 music doesn't start playing if Music app is not running. Before the update it was common thing to plug earphones, click remote button and listen to your music without even unlocking your iPhone. Control Center controls doesn't work at all.

iPhone required a proper restart. After restart both issues were gone.

I haven't purchased a Mac Mini at this time and I may not if I can't use it as a non server. I need to update my system I would be better off buying a new Mac with Snow Leopard the last app that will run Rosetta. The Mac Mini Server has a quad 2.0 processor and 4 GB RAM and two internal hard drives and should out perform my dual 1.25 G4. I can run PPC apps on my G4 but it is 8+ years old and seems to be getting noisy. I don't want to tie myself to another old machine. I want a machine that will work with Intel Apps I was hoping that the two hard drives would allow me to boot from the second with Snow Leopard and use Lion on the first drive to be able to keep up to date with all my other universal apps and Mac OS up grades. The application I use the most is my CanvasX app with drawing & vector effects, text & typography, sprite technology, painting, image editing, and multimedia tools are all in this one app but will not be updated to run Intel apps. I am frozen in time because my most valuable Application won't be updated and Apple has cut me off by not supporting PPC in Lion and onward; Apple used to backward support but I guess that they are no longer as user friendly and concerned with a happy user. I have always been a loyal Mac user and I will not migrate to Windows under any circumstance; I hate windows!

My application doesn't start when I run the domain as windows service

I am using weblogic 10.3.2 and i created a domain called rec_domain and i have AdminServer
also i deployed application called myApplication to the rec_domain
then i created windows service to run the server as a windows service

Hi Wael,
Can you please specify, What do u mean by Application Doesn't start? Is it Moving to PREPARED State Rather than ACTIVE state? Or the Application Health is not OK? Are you seeing any Warning or Error Message while starting the Server related to Deployment?
As the Production Mode is On...So I just wanted to confirm that By Mistake have u used the AutoDeploy feature to deploy Applications...Because the AutoDeploy Feature Doesn't Work in Production_Mode=true.
After Configuring the Windows Service Have you tried to Deploy the Application Freshly? Was it Successful?

Azure In Role Caching Doesn't start on server with "Not running in a hosted service or the Development Fabric."

I started to use Azure in-role caching and everything works great in Azure compute emulator on my local machine, but not on server. I've already dealed with some problems, like lack of msshrtmi.dll on server, but now can't understand why get this error:

All I found about this error is that it occurs if you start local Azure compute emulator with in-role caching and without administrative rights. But in emulator everything works fine and problem occurs only after I publish to staging environment. (if switch
to production, error remains).
I use cache for resolving routes like /username and /countryname etc. So available usernames and country names will be cached and updated on changes in database. I have static class with static DataCache object which is created on first request to cache. But
even home page doesn't start so error occurs before I try to create cache object.

Hi Jambor, I don't have reference errors. I had them before but already fixed with copy local = true for few references.
I receive error only on azure host service. In local everything works great, app starts, cache works and I can see data in cache. Yes, in local mode cloud project is set as startup and VS runs as administrator.
I've added TraceListener creating code you suggested:

Jobs on windows run time doesn't start

Hi,
actually I'm trying to run the latest lotus notes framework but the initial load job doesn't start on my production environment. The test environment runs normaly.
It seems to be a problem with the Windows runtime, as the job runs with the java runtime.
I know, there are VB-Scripts within the notes job, so the switch to java runtime was only for testing purposes.
Any suggestions?

By the way:
Note: It is possible that the SMC could encounter an issue that may cause unusual system behavior typically related to the symptoms described below. In some cases, resetting the SMC may be the only correct method to resolve the issue, however, an SMC reset should only be attempted after all other standard troubleshooting has been performed.
So I hope it is fixed for now. But could someone also post another solution?

Help ! Mac Mini doesn't start up !!!

I have an Intel Dual Core Mac Mini, with Bootcamp. The 80GB hard drive is splited in 65 GB (Mac OS X), and 15 GB (Win SP2). Default partition OS X. Until yesterday it worked perfectly for 3 months.
Problem: When I start up the Mini in OS X, normaly or choosing the OS X partion I just have the grey Apple and the turning wheel. However if I choose the Windows partition it works.
Start up Atempts: I already tried starting up normaly, waited for more than 20 minutes, nothing. I also tried restarting form windows, nothing...
I connected the Mini to a friend's iMac as a Firewire Hard Disk and all my files are there, so Im reluctant to reformat the entire disk without first trying to recover my partition.
What was I doing before ? I was downloading (OS 10.4.7 Update) but it wasn't even installed since the conection broke, I removed Butler wich make hangout the start up for to long, and I worked a few minutes in other programs, and the shut down went somewhere else, when I came back some hours later there was just the Desktop and NOTHING else no way to do ANYTHING. I shut down and got stuck.
If someone can help I would apreciate it !

Normally I would suggest you startup from your install disk and run the Disk Utility. But, if you have access to another Mac and can attach your Mac mini in FireWire Target Disk Mode, that might work just as well. With your Mac mini connected, run the Disk Utility on the Mac mini's hard drive. Your files may still appear even if there is some file directory damage. At least with your friend's Mac you might be able to backup some of your important files if you do end up needing to erase and install...
