Browsed through all bugs (search term = "Packager")
found lots of interesting bugs related to the ActiveX bridge,
but must have overlooked the one complaining about the
dropped bridge.
Could you provide the correct bug id?
I will vote for keeping the bridge, perhaps an improved one,
or else give it to the public domain.

Bridge CS6 Mac XMP File Info Panel Bug: can't copy and paste metadata

The cmd-keys / shortcuts doesn't work in the xmp file info panel btw. in the xmp / iptc fields (e.g. cmd+c, cmd+v, ...) of Adobe Bridge CS6 (Mac OS 10.6.8 and 10.7.3). You are not able to cut and paste info from one box to another like previous versions.
This bug only appears in the xmp file info window (opened via alt+i) in Bridge CS6 - if you edit information or metadata in the file info panel in Photoshop CS6 copy and paste from one field to another works.
The shortcuts also work under Windows (tested under Vista).
I noticed this minor bug already one in the Photoshop CS6 Beta more than one months ago. I hoped that this was corrected in the official test version, but unfortunately it is not. Although it is a minor bug, it is IMHO a basic function and would be very helpful in my daily work - it is too bad, that such a small thing is making working with the application a little bit annoying.

One vote for a javax.jms.MapMessage

I need to send and receive MapMessages to integrate with other Java clients in my Flex app however i have seen that in the documentation message-type parameter of the jms property of a message destination only accepts javax.jms.TextMessage and javax.jms.ObjectMessage.
If implementing a MapMessage would not be too difficult and someone can point me in the right direction i would be happy to contribute to the project.

This would be a great enhancement to JMSAdapter and I don't think it'll be hard. These are the classes you need to touch.
-JMSSettings.setMessageType should support the new message type.
-JMSProducer.validate should support the new message type.
-JMSProducer should have a new abstract method called sendMapMessage.
-JMSQueueProducer and JMSTopicProducer should provide the implementation for sendMapMessage.
I think this should be it! Once you get this working, please open an enhancement request to BlazeDS and provide your code. And let us know the bug number here so we can vote for it.

Thanks for that info! Even in my time answering questions on iMovie Discussion Group, I never had a good understanding of when and how Optimize Movie came into play. I always would import as Optimized and Large Size and figured that was good enough. But knowing you got much, much more flexibility doing it the way you describe gives me a much better understanding of the different routes you can take into the Event Library.

Yes after I had the ideas, wrote a survey and created the Skype Room group, I discovered the Forum thread about Skype Ideas and had the same thought. they are already doing this. So, I guess the benefit of mine is to raise awareness of this Skype Idea Community Board.
In my Skype Room guidelines, there is a link to the Survey which has links to all the Skype Ideas Boards for all the Skype clients, (Win7,8 iOS, Mac)... well Mac didnt have one, but I linked to the Mac blog & community.
I completely agree and love the explanation of the process to elevate the most Kudo'd (voted for/ popular) idea requests for implimentation. Very Impressive. People don't relaize that Skype/MS is listening... as you said ... to the clear focused voice of the most voted for and commented on Ideas for Skype changes. So Pleae dont dilute the votes for the same request! I will repeat the good info I found and link to it again....

All my Windows operating Systems are set to use the UI Culture: German
With Update-Help or Save-Help you can download PowerShell help in different (any) language by use of the –UICulture parameter.

Because my Windows OS is set to use the German UI Culture and the Cmdlet Get-Help depends on it, I cannot access PowerShell help in a different Language (English) with Get-Help.
There is still no translated German PowerShell help and even if I have installed the en-US verbose Help files I cannot use it (easily)!
I made a suggestion on Microsoft Connect to add the –UICulture Parameter to the Get-Help Cmdlet, to make it possible to call Help in a different language then the Windows Ui Culture.
As a workaround until then you can use the .NET Class [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture to set the UI Culture and get Help in a different language.

Filter in adobe bridge to only select Raw files for DNG conversion

Here's my problem - I have a new DMC TZ70 camera and Lightroom 5.7 doesn't recognise the .RW2 files. I would need to buy LR6! Perhaps later.
So I thought I will import via bridge and convert to DNG.
So I open bridge and select the camera - fine - BUT there are files for the Raw images, the same number of JPEGs and some .bdm, .TDT etc files. (e.g. 3 raw + 7 others).
I can set up a filter to view only the Raw files when I see what files are there in the card folder in Bridge but when I select "get photos from camera" I can either select them all OR deselect and then I need to MANUALLY select the raw files. There doesn't seem to be a way of setting up a filter in the Downloader screen so that Bridge only selects the Raw files for conversion.
If I let it select all, Bridge converts the RW2 files to DNG but also brings in the jpgs and other files. I can delete these afterwards but this seems an inefficient way to do it.
Is there any way to manually select the raw files in the photo downloader screen?

Not sure I follow completely, Mel, but Bridge allows you to View > Sort > Type... which would allow you, after sorting, to click on the first image with a specific extension, then hold down the Shift key to select the last in the series and handle them independent of the other files presented.

Im sorry.. I failed to tell you that our encoder of invoices is separate from the one who entry for payments.
Therefore, the encoder uses the invoices batches[(N) Invoices>Entry>Invoice Batches] whereas the Paymaster(the one who entered payments?) uses the Payments [Payments>Entry>Payments]
By the way your suggestion did work to disable the Pay in Full checkbox.. but i decided to get rid of the actions button for the encoder.. and another person will be handling the validation and create accounting having such access.
So what i wanted is that the paymaster wouldn't be able see among the LOV of invoices at the Payments Form if its not created accounting.
I wanna make sure that all invoices are created accounting.
