Bridge keeps changing my color in front of me. Please help.
I recently calibrated my laptop monitor with the Macbeth eye one.
I'll open bridge and all of my pictures will appear normal.
Then one by one they will turn very saturated. The jeans on the musician that I shot go from the light denim color that they were, to almost a purple.
The only way that I can get it to look normal in bridge OR photoshop is if I switch my working space to "monitor color." Which, I'm told, I'm not supposed to do.
Can anyone help?
My working space is adobe RGB 1998. Same with my Bridge working space.

I think it's a problen with the Cache.
When I purge the Cache, the problem temporarily goes away until a few seconds after I open Bridge.
I went ahead and delted my Cache folder. As soon as I open Bridge... It reappears.
I also went into the folder of the album of photos that I have been looking at and deleted the cache files that were saved with that folder.
I also disabled the "export to folders when ppossible" box in my cache.
When I alter a photo in.adobe Camera Raw does it attatch cache information someplace else, like the XMP info for the photo?
Any idea on how I can get all the Cache information completely gone and to quit coming back?
No matter which Camera Profile I use.. It doesn't look right.
Any ideas?

If You Are Locked Out Or Have Forgotten Your Passcode or Just Need to Restore Your Device
1. iTunes 10 for Mac- Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
2. iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). If you have movie rentals on the device, see iTunes Store movie rental usage rights in the United States before restoring.
Follow these steps to restore your device:
1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
2. Connect your device to your computer.
3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
4. Select the Summary tab.
5. Select the Restore option.
6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up
option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not
necessary to create another.
7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up,
you should not have to worry about restoring your iOS device).
8. When the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple
logo while starting up:
After a restore, the iOS device displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. For updating
to iOS 5 or later, follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. For earlier versions of
iOS, keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or
you see "iPhone is activated."
9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. If you do not have a
backup to restore, then restore as New.
If you are restoring to fix a forgotten Restrictions Code or as a New device, then skip Step 9 and restore as New. -
My AppStore id is my apple id n password which is good when purchasing. But when I am updating from update option it ask for a password. The user id I see there is not mine, it's different. I believe the issue is with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the App. If you download an App that was purchased under a different Appple ID then all updates will also be linked to the original purchaser's Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the the same ID as your iTunes, iCloud, etc. Some folks use different ID for the different Apple sites. No need for that One ID for all Apple Sites, and if someone else buys an App using their ID and they(you) download that App onto your device and that App requires an update it will ask for the purchasers Apple ID. This happens a lot when folks sell their iPad or give it to someone else and leave some purchased(free) Apps on the iOS device. You cannot change the original ID the App was purchased under. A suggestion would be if someone else has an App that you like but do not want to pay for use their ID or in the future have them gift the App to you.

Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
Common errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.

i want to downgrade my 2011 mac mini server to mac os x i have the disks but the mini willl not reboot the apple changing to a circle with a line please help-
bpruse, I may be completely off-track for your issue, but I had a similar situation where I wanted to downgrade a Mac Pro from Server to plain OS X and it would not boot from the OS X install disk.
I was attempting to use a full-install OS X.6.x disc with an earlier SL version than that which originally came installed on the Mac Pro. After two or three hours of fiddling, I figured it out and used the discs that came with the system.
However, I don't know how that would work in your case if this is the mini server-version. I'm sure the disks would only have Server on them. Worse-case scenario, find out which X.6.x the OEM disc is installing and get an OS X disc with a new installer.

Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
6. Close all windows and quit all applications.

Select Disk Utility from the drop down. When the Disk utility window opens up,
select Macintosh HD, then First Aid.
Click Repair Disk Permissions button.
Ignore the time remaining estimate.
Last 1 minute may take longer. -

I am working with the Green Grocery Newsletter Template, and I am trying to substitute the text. As an example of my issue, when I highlight the title text and start typing, it turns blue, even though the text color box still shows green. Actually, any text I try to replace turns blue! If I try to change the color of my blue text, the text color box shows the new color, but the text on the template is of course, still blue.

Different profiles: same colors in preview?! please help me
Hi. My ploblem is pretty simple: I have 3 jpgs, each one with it's own profile embeded, one with sRGB, one spyder2express (monitor profile) and the last one with no profile embeded. No matter the color settings I make in Bridge, all three images show the same colors. Even if I change the color settings in Bridge from... let's say... monitor color tu sRGB, the colors remain the same. Why the hell does that happen?! It's really beyond my understanding and anyone knows the answer or how to change that... I mean to see every picture in it's own embeded color space... would be excellent.
I only assigned those profiles to the images, not converted them and in bridge I change Creative Suite Color Settings.
Thumbnails are set to the highest quality.
Is there anything wrong with the way I use color management? I mean, the correct way would be: let spyder2express to color manage my monitor, and in PS an Bridge working with all files under sRGB, using the sRGB files from my camera. What do I do when I want to put my photos on the web? Web browsers don't use color management, and everything is way different that what I see in Bridge under sRGB.
I've been searching for tutorials for about two weeks now and it doesn't seem to work for me. It's one of those things that needs something to click in my head so I can understand it an use it. It just hasn't clicked yet, so if you have any resorces to guide me to... would e very thankful. I know what a color space is, I know how to assign and convert, but it doesn't really seem to fit together.
