Bridge or camera RAW - not enough memory to run Nikon D800 large 50 MB files Any suggestions?

Does any one have the same problem trying to work with Nikon D800 large files (50MB !) and Camera RAW ??
Even with one image opend when I click Done I get a message Bridge is low on memory - Restart. Also the tumbnails preview and full scree becomes blank!
I have CS5 / Camera RAW 5.7 Computer Windows XP 4 G Memory
Is it a Bridge issue or Camera RAW issue? Any proven solution?

Could you provide more details about your configuration?
This info can't be right, CS5 comes with ACR 6.7 and Windows XP needs at least servicepack 3 to my knowledge.
4 GB RAM might be sufficient but is not much, do you have also the 64 bit installation?
And did you reset the preferences for Bridge also.
Maybe Curt hops in, I am a Mac user and don't know very much about Windows I'm afraid

I have windows 7 SP1 64 bit machine with 8 GB of RAM. and have office 365 pro plus installed on it. I use windows explorer preview pane a lot and suddenly it has stopped working. Whenever I click on any excel, power-point, word file with the preview pane
enabled it gives me the error as below:
for Excel: Not enough memory to run Microsoft Excel. Please close other applications and try again.
For Power point: there is not enough memory or system resources to start power point.
However the file opens fine when I double click it. I have tried the following"
1. Repaired, re-installed office 365 pro plus.
2. Disabled, enabled and changed virtual memory page file size. It did not make any difference.
3. Have verified folder and search options and they are fine for the preview pane.
Is there anything we can do about it?

Since we were unable to reproduce in my test machine, we were unable to determine the root cause of the problem. This seems to be happening when Windows is trying instantiate the Office application for the preview in the Preview pane, if the repair
Office still doesn't work, we might turn our mind onto Windows OS level.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Disable all of security programs or Anti-virus on that machine.
2. Disable DEP.
3. If you installed any video or graphic codec programs, please temporary to remove them to check the result.

Not enough memory to run iTunes???!!!

I just ran the Software Update to get iTunes 7 and the latest version of Quicktime. I restarted after the instalation and was able to open iTunes and it ran famously. I really enjoy the changes. I decided that with the new artwork features I should clean up my library and add to the artwork I already had so I got a few more album covers and also got rid of some duplicates I had lingering in my library. After I did that for a little while I quit iTunes to go do other things but when I came back to my computer to listen to some music I got the following mesasge: "The iTunes application could not be opened. There is not enough memory available." I highly doubt that this could be because I have 768 MB RAM installed on my computer. I tried restarting and that didn't work. I even tried quitting all applications and closed every widget in Dashboard, yet I still got the same message. I am clueless, please help.

758mb should be enough to run Tiger, but I try to not let my computer get down below about a gig of memory. If I do I get a similar message and programs start to become too taxing on the computer.
I think by updating your album art you may have pushed it...I'd try deleting some files, free up some space, and see where it takes you.

Not enough memory to run YAST

Zen 6.5 sp2
I can neither PXE boot or boot from CD with any box that has an AMD
processor. These also have Biostar motherboards. I get the following message
"Your computer does not have enough memory to run YAST", machines have
plenty of memory.
Works fine on any box that has an Intel processor.
Any suggestions??

Is it a 64bit processor?
Do you have a SLES 9 installation CD handy? If so, try booting from it to
see if you get the same error.

Not enough memory to complete operation when writing TDMS file.

I am new to Labview and having a bit of trouble. I attach some code here. What I want to do is sample from a NI 9220 DAQ from 16 channels at 20kHz, while from a second NI 6009 sample from 4 channels at 1000 kHz. I want to append these together and then write to a TDMS file.
I have tried to write this code using NIDAQmx VIs but when I have it has resulted in the two DAQs not having the right timing with each other. The 6009 samples for a longer time.
I have now tried instead to use the DAQ assistant to read from the two VIs and it works in that TDMS files produced have the correct timing between the two DAQS. However, if I record for more than 2 minutes, in the end I want to end up recording for a much longer time, I have the "Not enough memory to complete operation" message appearing. This still happens even if I get rid of my charts to display the data, and also if I get rid of the NI 6009 completely and just keep the 9220 sampling at 20kHz. It happens even if I repalde my TDMS write and put a write measurement assistant in which I tell it to write a series of files that are each less than 2 minutes long.
I think it is something to do with the amount of data I am reading and is being held in memory. What can I do about this? Also, my charts display very slowly, basically evey second when the 20k are read in. However if I lower the amount of data read the charts don't display all the data points.

As far as your charts updating very slowly - the way your code is designed, your charts only get data when both 20K samples & 1M samples are done collecting. Have you tried setting up DAQ assistant for continuous sampling instead of 20K samples or 1M samples?

Bridge and Camera Raw not installing correctly with Photoshop CS5

First time installing i got bridge to load, but camera raw did not work. I had the notice at the end of instalation that there were numerous errors with the intall, totalling 13.
Uninstalled, and tried to reinstall. I only got three errors, but now bridge is not on the computer or camera raw.
Fustrated, wondering if I should have gotten the disks intead of the online installer.

Try running the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and reinstalling. For everything else a look at the install logs would be required.

ITunes - not enough memory to run this program [Solution]

After upgrading to iTunes 7, if you install UNO - Unified GUI and use any option apart from 'Default Aqua' under the iTunes GUI choice you will get this error.
Note this does not make a difference if you have already modded the itunes GUI using UNO and upgrade, only if you run UNO after installing iTunes 7.
Just had this problem myself, took a couple of minutes to realise why it happened.
Solution: re run UNO revert to default Aqua for iTunes, and reinstall iTunes.

in my case i have no UNO installed on my machine but i get this error when i tried to run itunes 7 for the first time since i upgraded
how could i get itunes to run in my machine, i have 512mb of ram and it's enough to run soem applications like flash, photoshop fireworks etc etc so why it's not enough for itunes?

Not enough memory error appears when i open ai files

My computer is powerful enough with 8GB ram,
After i edited about 20 ai files (open, edit and close), i got this error box (when i tried to open a new existing artwork)
So, what's the problem?
i have about 1TB free space in both C and D drive,
and memory is still free,
What's the solution?

I have a Facebook Activity plugin on our website that when I use my laptop it is visible, however, when I view it on my desktop computer it is not. I am running Windows 7 on both. Any suggestions?

Bridge CS5.1 is not respoding. Getting error messages that there is not enough memory and need to clear central cash.

On MAC OS X 10.7.5. Editing raw files in Bridge and have been getting error messages every time I open Bridge that there is not enough memory. Other messages are to clear the central cache. Can't find the central cache on my system. Please help!

Have you tried completing the pano without selecting edge fill. Then crop the result or use the clone stamp to fill the blanks.

Just got this tip from a DELL technician and tried it on a folder of 20 x 220Mb Hasselblad TIFFs and it worked. i.e. I didn't get the dreaded "There was not enough memory." error appearing after a few files. (I'm Vista, but it may work with XP too.)
1. Open Bridge.
2. Ctrl/Alt/Delete to start the Task Manager.
3. Click the Processes tab. Bridge should be highlighted in the list. Right click on it.
4. Choose Set Priority.
5. The dot should be next to 'Normal' on the list. Try setting it to Realtime. If it says it can't, it will probably set it to High. If it doesn't set it to High anyway.
6. Click OK.
The only drawback is that you will have to do this every time you open Bridge (it reverts to Normal as soon as you close the program) but the setting remains in place for the entire time the program is open.

"Not enough memory" with MS Starforce MX (GF2 MX400D-T64)

I just installed an MX400D-T64 video card into my system (Win98). Now when I try to open the MS-DOS prompt I receive the message:
"There is not enough memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs and try again."
Doesn't matter if I re-boot, have no other programs open, etc.
So far, everything else seems to work. Is there a setting I can change to keep the video card from grabbing all the memory (512MB in the system)? I would hate to not be able to play Rogue any more! :- (

if you played your game fine before then try removeing the drivers and useing using the drivers from nVidia's site

File Error - FCP-6 - "not enough memory" ---DVDPro disk is slightly jerky..

I have a macbook. 2GHz Intel Core Duo, 1 GB 667 DDr2 SDRAM. Final Cut Pro 6.0.1
OS 10.4.11
I have a project file - HD that has worked fine up until now. And wouldn't you know it - it's just
when I need to be able to burn to quicktime that this occurs.
There appears to be a continuing "file error: not enough memory" - anytime I open a sequence - now in any project.
I have done a disk repair with disk utility. I zapped the P-RAM. I've tried dragging the project files to my laptop desktop. Nothing works.
I have a Lacie external drive with over 150GB of memory left. Another project was shot in HDV -
and it seems this started to occur after working on that project.
What else is there? Why is it doing this - of all things, now?
Please advise - ASAP!?
Also, one other small detail. If I have my sequence settings in FCP at DVCPRO-HD720p60, and I set my compressor file at 23.98fps - could that be responsible for a subtle jerking in the DVD Studio Pro Disk print? When I pull up the file in DVDpro - and play it on the simulator, the jerking is not present, only in the disk burn.

The memory that FCP is referring to is RAM. If you're running with less than a couple of gigs, larger projects will report that there's not enough memory... a gig isn't really enough to run FCP anymore. Tiger and Leopard use a LOT of it up so you probably need more RAM.
The other things that can use up RAM fast are graphics from photoshop, and if they have a blank layer in them, you'll get an out of memory error too. So might check that out, but my guts say you need more RAM for your laptop.

Why do I keep getting the error: "Could not purchase... There is not enough memory available?" When I attempt to update any apps I get this error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and just checked to see which version I have and it is 11.2.3. Thank you for any assistance you can give me to resolve this issue.

Saving raw in jpeg not enough memory (in Camera raw)

Hello I am using Camera raw with following config:
AMD Athlon II x2 245 processor 2.90 GHz RAM:4,00 Go 32 bits
I know that it is not enough especially in Ram but I am not alone in this case. So very often I have to close Camera raw because I have got the message not enough memory to continue jpeg conversion (especially on photo with heavy modification :noise etc). It is also because I am saving in JPEG and using at the same time Camera raw to continue my work, some time to time I have 3 or 4 jpeg conversions at the same time. So I found a solution which gives a little bit better results:
I process all my photos with camera raw without saving in Jpeg . When my work is finished I reload each photos with camera raw and immediately without waiting I save it in Jpeg than I close camera raw and reload a new photo and so on. In that case I have less problèms. My suggestion would be or may be it is already possible : saving the the modified raw photo in jpeg directly from bridge without loading them in camera raw and if possible in batch process. a similar system would be good also for lightroom.Thanks for your comments
