Bridge Output Module: Use Custom Transformer.xslt?

Hello,
I've been poking around the Adobe Output Module in CS4 to determine if we might be able to use it instead of the old Web Photo Gallery plug-in for Photoshop. I can understand the reasoning behind using XSLT / XML to generate HTML gallery pages, but I'm baffled by what appears to be a complete inability to specify a custom "transformer.xslt" which would be specific to a media gallery template. Is there any way to tell Bridge's Output Module to use a custom transformer.xslt so I don't have to edit or replace the default one?

SERIOUSLY. And how about all of the other things missing from the old Contact Sheet:
1. How many pdf pages will be generated? ***MAY BE USEFUL when calculating the images per colum/row
2. the ability to output directly to Photoshop. Is it that hard? Do you really believe people didn't use that?
3. fix the stupid zoom. It's a POINTER FINGER, but when you click it zooms. And God forbid you keep anything consistent with any of your other software - ZOOM OUT IS *SHIFT*, not Command. Even then, the cursor stays a stupid finger.

Adobe Bridge output module

I am having an issue getting the adobe output module to work on my computer. I did exactly what the website said and its still not working. Any advice?

Use of transformer XSLT

What is the use of XSLT.....
I want to ask if the tree of the xml file has changed( such as remove a node from the tree), and then use the transformer to display the changed tree .........
does it mean that we don't need to rewrite the xml file to save the changed tree?

Well. XSLT specification just defines how to transform a source document into another .. the other can be palin text, another XML or HTML or whatever one wants.. n it really doesn't make ne change in the source tree..

CC Bridge -- Output modules installation not working

I am having a problem with having the Output Module work as well.
According to the instructions I have done everything correctly. Install Adobe Output Module
I:
Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
Copy the AdobeOutputModule.workspace file into the Workspaces folder under the Bridge CC Extensions folder.
When I place the AdobeOutputModule.workspace into the Workspace folder Bridge doesn't come up at all. If the Module is in the same folder as the BridgeCC folder then there is no change to whether Bridge works or not.
Additionally, I am not seeing "!!-$$$AdobeOutputModule.workspace" in the \Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CC\Workspaces folder. All I see are
!!-$$$Essentials.workspace
!!-$$$LightTable.workspace
!!-$$$Navigator.workspace and
!!LastMenu.workspace
Help please. Any more ideas.

Marioo, If you do not see the !!-$$$AdobeOutputModule.workspace file, that means output module is not installed properly on your machine.
I would suggest you :
To check if you have the admin rights on the machine, If not, login with the admin account and check.
Reset Bridge workspace : In Bridge, choose Window > Workspace > Reset Workspace
Download the appropriate 32 bit or 64 bit AOM package and make sure to de-compress or extract it. Have seen issues like these, if users don't extract the files.
Now Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
And now copy the AdobeOutputModule.workspace file into the Workspaces folder under the Bridge CC Extensions folder.
Launch Bridge and check if you get "The Bridge extension "AdobeOutputModule" has been added to Bridge" message.
Also, make sure user has full read/write permissions on C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe folder.
Let me know how it goes.

Bridge output module

I have down loaded the output module and placed the the folder in to Bridge CC extensions and the file into workspaces. I still can't get the output module to work.
A the PC doesn't ask me to Authenticate the folder and also the PC comes up with a conflict notice. Please can you tell me what I am doing wrong I need this output module to work for a course I am doing.

Problems with Bridge Output Module

Hi,
I just installed Bridge CC output module.
Unfortunately the display is blank. I tried to fix it by resetting workspace, but this did not help. Than I wanted to delete !!-$$$AdobeOutputModule.workspace file, but it was not there. All there ist is AdobeOutputModule.workspace file which I copied there just before.
What can I do now?

Which file formats does the Bridge Output Module (Web Gallery) support?

I've searched all over but can't seem to find a list. I'm hoping it supports video, but can't seem to find a format that works. I know it exports Flash, but which import formats does it support?
FWIW, I'm still on CS4 but have access to CS5.5 if need be.

How do I install the "Adobe Output Module" Into Bridge?

CC does not come with the "Adobe output Module"
You can not make PDF contact sheets without this.
Are there any current instructions on how to do this?

Call transformation XSLT and long note string in XML

Using call transformation (XSLT scheme) to convert XML file to html the problem is that line breaks in xml are ignored when passing the call tranformation.
Note in xml look like:

When HTML displayed in sap, - note is just a long string which continue out of the screen. Note looks like:

What is the XSLT program that you're using to transform the XML?
Can you try modifying the XSLT stylesheet and add or modify the following attribute.
<xsl:output indent="yes"/>

CS4 Output module crashes with Snow Leopard

I have had many problems with Snow Leopard in my Mac Pro (1,1), which all seem to have been resolved by erase installing, with one exception.
The one exception is trying to make contact sheets with the Bridge output module.
It is particularly prone to spinning beachball then crash while entering settings, eg header footer etc.
It doesn't crash every time, but often enough to be a real trial.
The behaviour has been the same between my initial SL upgrade of my "dirty" Leopard, and a cleaner-than-clean fresh erase/install of SL and CS4 only, with all the usual troubleshooting in between.
Is anyone else getting this problem?
I would also really like to hear from anyone who is successfully using CS4 output module with Snow Leopard.

I have a RIP on a PC creating 1-bit TIFF files. They open just fine in Photoshop or other 3rd party programs. However when I try and open them in preview they immediately crash the program. Now I have also noticed that when I select the item and try to get info (to change the default program to open with) the FINDER crashes too!
Getting info on a file can actually crash the Finder? C'mon Apple gimme a break here... a 1-bit TIFF should be no problem.

Setting format and format options in Output module settings for render queue item

Hello,
I am unable to set the "Format" and "Format options" for video in output module settings programatically using After effects apis.
I referred the after effects cs3 sdk guide for the apis.
I find apis for all other options in the "outputmodule settings " like :
AEGP_SetEmbedOptions
AEGP_SetOutputChannels
AEGP_SetStretchInfo
AEGP_SetSoundFormatInfo
But there is no api listed for setting the options available in the "Format" tab and "Format options" tab.
The "Format" tab and "Format options" tab is available in the dialog that opens when user clicks on the Output module settings for the render queue item.
The format tab when clicked shows a drop down list with aff different formats. By default "Video for Windows" is set.
The drop down list contains following format options
Adobe Clip Notes
Adobe Flash video
Quicktime movie
Video for Windows
I need to be able to set the "Quicktime movie" option in the Format tab programmatically and then set the compression type as "Animation" in the compression settings programatically using the api functions available in AE CS3 SDK
Please suggest the suitable api to do so.
I need to write my own plugin to export to Quicktime movie using the after effects apis.
I follow below steps to do so.
1. AEGP_InsertMenuCommand and add export option to AE with my own plugin name
2. In the command hook, select active item using AEGP_GetActiveItem
3. Add it to render queue
4. Set the output module settings for 0 th output module using
suites.OutputModuleSuite1()
5. Use different functions from suites.OutputModuleSuite1() to set the output module settings like EmbedOptions,StrechInfo etc.
6. Till this step, I am doing it right. But I am not able to find any api for setting Format options using suites.OutputModuleSuite1()
I also checked all other suites available for setting FormatOptions but no luck.
Please help.

Hi Namita,
I am experiencing the same problem.
I am using AE CC SDK, and I am unable to change the outputmodule format to any of the other movie format types (mov, mpg, flv, etc.).
It is always set to "avi"
I even compiled and ran the Queuebert example in the SDK, and there I get the same problem: the path extension is always left on ".avi"
Does anyone know how to change this?

How to set up the output device in output determinatin with customer master

Hi,
I am doing the output determination using customer master and not conditions technique. Can anybody please let me know how to set up the output device . I have done the following:
1) assigned output determination procedure DB00001 to acct group 0001
2) added output type BA00 to customer master documents tab with print as the medium.
3) On creating a sales order and changing it its giving the message
BA00 515 No printer defined for output BA00
Please provide me with some suggestions , how to resolve this issue.

1. tcode V/30 -> check BA00 type -> goto "print" tab -> what's set in the "print param." field?
2. IMG ->SD -> basic functions -> output control -> define print parameters -> V1 output -> for BA00 output type -> Assign a default printer. This is related with the "print param." set in step 1.
For example: if "print parame." is set to '1' in V/30, then the default printer is assigned to sales organization.
You can check F4 search help on the "print param." field (in V/30) to see what options you have.
If you want to specify printer by customer account, you may need to use userexit.

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Cannot use Bridge after output module added. VERY frustrated. Thoughts?

I've followed the instructions for adding the output module. I've done it 3 times. Once the process is finished, Bridge will not open.
Not sure why the option wasn't included in the CC version of Bridge, but I'm getting really frustrated, and wondering why I'm paying for this.
